It’s nice to see someone who actually works at a beauty store. Talk about this. I work at Ulta and we have it but we haven’t put it out yet. And I’m super pumped because I really wanna try it.
@@OliviaSangster we have two new brands that are going in the gondolas and they won’t tell us what they are. They used to let us know and we’d have to keep it confidential. But I think way too many people were putting things on blast when they were supposed to zip their mouth. So it sucks that we have no idea who is coming 😬🫣
It is nice to see the foundation on someone that doesn't already have perfect skin! I have combo skin with old acne scars and lots of redness. I also live in a humid climate. I have been debating on buying it when it comes out (first higher end foundation ever for me). I was wondering if it ever looked or felt cakey to you throughout the day?
never felt/looked cakey at all! i cannot stress enough how good this foundation is in humidity - today at work the aircon went out during a heatwave and I was SWEATINGGG and it didn’t budge at all I’m so so so impressed 💦
Usually I'm the first one or two shades in a range. But not with KVD! They take their fair shades seriously lol. I'm the 4th lightest shade in this range.
I was looking at reviews trying to find someone with a similar skin tone to mine to help me shade match, and my eyes bugged out when you had 12 😅 because I was looking at 002. Now I’m scared to go quite that light, but I think I’m definitely staying in the fair category. Oh and the KVD website specifies the undertone for each shade, which I found quite helpful.
the light shades go suuuuper light so don’t go for those first couple unless you’re paper white!! lmao yes amazing I saw it’s on their website too!! for ease I wish it was in the shades name instead of that extra 0 ❤️
I find it very interesting that you mentioned that it was hard to find shades for very pale people but neglected to mention the fact that it is just as difficult if not more difficult to find darker shades as most brands nowadays are still struggling with inclusivity. This brand could have even gone much darker but for the range it’s a good start. I just picked up this foundation a few days ago. I came across your review obviously tonight but I just wanted to share my thoughts. Also, no one is orange. I heard you mention that the shades for darker skin are usually orange and it was nice to see them this time not be as orange. That’s crazy! We aren’t orange. We have different undertones just like lighter skinned people. Smh never orange though.
I always struggle so much to find a good foundation 😮💨 I got textured acne-prone, fair neutral skin with slight yellow tones. I went back to double wear this week but it broke me out instantly so I hope this might be better
For a NARS Siberia and a MAC NC10 girl, should I go between the first 10 shades? 😂 i am debating getting this. For the Estee Lauder one, i have to mix 0N1 Alabaster with 1W0. And it is my go to foundation.
if you like the coverage of double wear but want something lighter for everyday you’ll love this foundation for sure!! ooooh and for an alabaster and nc10 girl i’d be going for those early shades! maybe an L010 or L008 🫶
@@verawilders2577 it’s a tiny bit too yellow toned for me, but it looks good shade wise. The foundation, couldn’t make it work 🤣🥲 it applies so horrible on me 😭
