I do have an Ecovac robot and its the best thing I have ever bought, I could not imagine life without it no. Certainly not noisy like the one you reviewed and nothing like the noise of a conventional vacuum cleaner. It gives you time to do other things and vacuuming is quite exhausting when you have some health issues as I do, so for me they are a wonder. My friend was so impressed with what I told her about mine that she also got the same model and she too says how did we ive without one, she has two dogs so plenty to deal with. Wouldn't be without!
@@budgetcookinguk That would annoy me ! just shows you have to do a bit of research with these like many things. I looked a hundreds of reviews for many different brands and my one stood out. Just love it!
I have had a robot hoover for years and love it. As a wheelchair user it is a god send. Mine also mops but haven't used that part of it. The problem I find is when it doesn't fit under something then that bit doesn't get cleaned. I needed a new 3 piece suite so made sure it was high enough for the robot to go under it, lol. xxx
I'm conflicted about this one, on the one hand, I'd probably break my neck by accidentally standing on it, on the other hand, I have multiple cats to entertain and this would keep them happy for years! Interesting review, I never saw one in action outside of the Sims before.
Yes I love mine ,at 70 years old its helped my back so much The noise ,when emptying is 2 seconds. The rest of time its quiter than a manual hoover. I love mine .Yes I do use my manual occasionally as a premium finish ,but do suffer with my back. Warning do be careful programming it to work while your out ,IF you gave a pet that may have had an accident, the problem is known as " POO NAMI, "Not pleasant to deal with ,because the robot will have performed a determined job at trying to hoover ANY mess in its pathway .!!
In my old house, I think my neihbours would be annoyed lol but during the day - windows closed maybe they'll only hear it a little (the sucking noise bit lol) otherwise it's well priced with the discount applied. 😀👍
Thanks for a great review, Kerry. My sister has a robovac, and she loves it. She's had it years ( I haven't a clue what make or model). It is very loud, so i would make sure that emptying of the bag is done when you're not at home, lol. I can't say this one is for me. I think i would be going behind it with a vaccum 😂😂. Have a great day xxxx Jacs 💚💚
Hi Kerry, great review but agree about the noise and mopping. I can see the attraction for busy people or disabilities. I think I'd be worrying about it while I was out and I don't think Rosie was that impressed. Jen xx
Over the past 10+ (god, almost 20) years I had two of the iRobot hoovers and they were quite noisy and prone to getting stuck on cables and rugs. When the last one died (house move and was dropped on the ground) I picked up an 'Eufy' one. Much better! Quiet, is pretty good at uneven floors, cables, etc. I really couldn't be without it. The Eufy are also quite easy to get replacement brushes etc for on Amazon so one less thing to factor in. The cat loves it too. She tries to sneak up on it then FRANTICALLY RUNS AWAY when it turns round towards her 🙂
Haha your cat wants a ride maybe Billy😄💕 not heard of eufy. This one is very noisy, not neighbour friendly when its sucking up contents into main bit! Could wake up the dead!
Exactly, I spent years hoovering on my knees because of back problems. Lightbulb moment, I invested in robot hoover. What a life changer. The manufacturer's are truly missing a trick ,not advertising it as a positive product for older people .I have demoed mine to many friends, who have since purchased one. Generally I'm not a tecno person, but I made myself get to understand my robot. Its truly in 70 years one of the best gadgets ever. I have heard stories about incidents with pets ,known as " poo nami " ,that could be tricky to deal with, but I dont have pets.
Good honest review Kerry,we don't really have that much floor space to justify getting a robot vacuum cleaner but if we did that one looks good for the money,we had a cordless Dyson for years and recently bought a new Shark one and it brilliant, another enjoyable video flower Xx
I'd definitely do more research for makes that arent so noisy, the noise factor was not great. Imagine neighbours not being too happy about that Jenny😬😄💕
decent value considering what that robbing sod dyson charges, if i had it id sprinkle a bit of flour or something in defferent rooms and set it to hoover while i was out then come back and see how its done, good revue kez
I get why people want to buy those vacuum cleaners as the house can be cleaned while they’re out and don’t have to do it when home from work. The only thing about having one is it has to be left out in a room and not put away in a cupboard otherwise it cannot be used. The price I suppose isn’t that bad really as vacuum cleaners cost a fortune these days and they all do the same job, but they also can be very heavy to push especially if you have problems with your back, arms and shoulders so that is a positive. Would I buy one? like you I wouldn’t get rid of my upright vacuum cleaner even though it’s really heavy. Good review Kerry.
I have all wooden floors in my house so I think I could have this working alongside how I already clean. Hmmmmm Food for thought. Thank you for the review Kerry.
Hi Kerry, I love your videos, thanks for reviewing the vacuum but OMG that was so noisy but would be great to use while out at work or shopping and i agree about the mopping feature, also how clean would it get the floor using just water? Xxx
Ì managed to buy mine on a promotion, that did encourage me to try it.If you have back issues ,it will be one of the best purchases ever .I'm 70 and cleaning carpets had become a huge depressing issue for me .Yes it's a huge investment, but it has truly made a difference ,one of my better gadget purchases.
This one is on the cheaper end, some are £800! They are giving a decent discount but it is a lump of money, that is true. I know there is an instalment plan available as well.
Well Rosie to start with looks unimpressed 😅 carpets what about carpets and the strip it has to climb to get to carpets waste of time I'd get super angry 😡 that's too noisy even on my mobile I can't watch this it's awful stick it on the Amstrad pile 😅😅😅
She wasn't Carole😄I'm amazed she didnt bark, wasn't sure what her reaction was going to be - definitely unimpressed. She used to hate me hoovering, just tolerates it now😄👍
Sorry these yhings Just do open spaces it doesn't get undrr furniture of any kind Hoovering is unfortunately a himan chore... god it's noisy does it come eith esr defenders horrendous

This one was incredibly noisy, that might annoy neighbours if they're close by.

The cats will love it Diana but that is a valid point re trip hazard!😄👍💕
It's alright for nowt. 🙂 Use it when you're out, then the noise doesn't matter. (Assuming it's safe to leave)

I am quite old and have been envying my daughters robot vac for some time, the hoover makes my back ache after one room.

Thank you Ricky👋😀💕 back to school this week, everyone is walking about a bit dazed lol
I’m tempted as I have two dogs and I’m elderly.

Thank you Nellie, I'll try that trick with the flour - should have tried it on the review!! 😜😄💕

Thank you Dorinda👋😀💕couldn't believe some are as high as £800!! That's more than my old car (since pegged it rip) crazy prices

No problem Beth👋😀💕
I like the idea of it doing the cleaning itself but not sure about the mopping. Thanks for the review Kerry ❤
I agree Janice, the mopping was hardly mopping. More rubbing with ever so slightly damp cloth😄👍💕
Always wondered about these. But not got one yet wasn't too surex
Hi Kerry, I love your videos, thanks for reviewing the vacuum but OMG that was so noisy but would be great to use while out at work or shopping and i agree about the mopping feature, also how clean would it get the floor using just water? Xxx
Janet it was a shocker how loud that sucking noise was! 😱😄 that's a good point re the mopping bit (thank you as well!)
Nah! I'll stick to my Shark upright thank you
if you had a kitten or young cat you'd know where to find it, riding around on the robot
They'd definitely sleep on it when its charging Bill😄
A lot of money
