thank you for this review, we just ordered one cause our budget for a small house is just at this range. keep up the good work sir, fan from philippines here
Same for me today. Never had a robot before though, yet still very impressed how it get stuff out of some corners where I almost never cleaned because it was a nook under the desk or something like that. Would love it to be flatter just so it could also go under the couch and the kitchen because I can only imagine the terrors underneath. 😂
Great review. Reviewing the mop capability on the robots without a cleaning dock or lifting is rather pointless, this robot should not have had the pad at all. It is a great vacuum cleaner though. I got it near launch to replace a S5max that is still going strong after 1200hours. I really hope roborock can add the increased threshold capabilities of the Curv/Edge to the next gen Q5pro line instead of a "useless" pad.
thank you for all your reviews it’s been super handy deciding which one to get. we have parrots and so our house is always a mess. I think one with a larger hole in the dust tray would be good. probably need a lidar one too. do you have any suggestions? is roborock a good one ?
Don't know if you ever got your answer, but no, my bathroom threshold is about 5cm high and it cannot go up. It goes to the doorway, looks around a way to get it, when it bumps in both sides of the door it learns that it cannot and maps it. The software is actually really nice, the guy in the video said it's not great, but I think it actually works really well with my android phone. Another problem is that if you have something that the machine thinks it can go over, but actually cant, then it will get stuck there for a good amount of time. So far it always corrects itself and gets unstuck, which is impressive, but if you have something that is like 2-3cm high the robot WILL try to climb it no matter what. I personally lift up anything that could potentially be an obstacle, even if it's just a sock or a small cable. All in all the robot does a good job, if you have old people around the house or you are too lazy too busy to vacuum more than once a week then it will do a great job as long as you're not an actual pig. It's meant to maintain, not deep clean. If you expect to buy this and never have to clean ever again, then don't buy it.
Thankyou Dad, just got this on black friday for a reasonable price, had no excuse not to purchase.

I appreciate that!

You should!

I don't think the stuff in the bin is actually a good indicator of a good job. The stuff left over on the rug would be a better indicator.
Nice review thank you sir
Wonderful review!
Glad you liked it!
q5pro or q8 max
Hi dad! Thanks for the review! Where do you go in the settings to make the roborock do 3 paddes
Selective room cleaning
@@deuceswild6857 thanks for the reply! I don’t see that on the app though
@@danielleuy2858 go to rooms and you should see it
Do you know if it can get over the raised door thresholds?
