- well I did have high hopes for this airfryer, mainly because it is the first airfryer I've used that isn't a Cosori or a Ninja. I am sorry to say it was a bit of a disappointment. The drawers were clunky and I struggled to open and close them. It seemed cheaply made and the screen was ok but very basic.
It did cook the Lemon Drizzle cake to perfection however, despite the plasticy smell when using it for the first time (I did wash the drawers before first use) Link to my drizzle cake vlog with full recipe here in case you fancy checking that out:

Very fair review. Those drawers would be a deal breaker for me. Very, very happy with my Cosori turbo blaze.
Refreshing to see an honest review Kerry. There were quite a few worrying details with this air fryer. I have had a cosori for quite a while with no issues. Where would we be without our beloved air fryers.

No problem at all👋😀💕 I've heard of the plastic on drawer handles degrading or chipping off if drawer was continuously washed in dishwasher. Not worth the risk!
Great honest review, if it was mine it would be going straight back. On the plus side it does seem to have cooked the cakes well.

I must admit that my Sunbeam Multi-zone air fryer is hard to beat. The great advantage is that I can remove the centre divider to double the size of the drawers. This enables me to bake full size cakes and tarts, takes a large chicken etc, then when I put the divider back, I can use the two drawers separately. Love, love, love.

How refreshing to get honest product review so few channels do them.
The buy cheap pay twice advice is the best bit of advice I give far better wait and save a few more weeks to get best.
My kitchen gadgets are like workhorses in my kitchen and all of them I have had to wait and save for over the years but some 40 years on still look and work like new.
My newer Gadgets I find frustrating as not made to last or those that are are far between.
Now baking.... Cake looks awesome and one of my favourites to make and yet every time I fail on getting the Drizzle to go that white yummy glaze over the top.
Drizzle itself is devine and sinks well into cake but can I get a visible glaze nope any suggestions welcome.
I made beautiful Ginger Cake last week recipe had a Drizzle on it .....I went nah I will enjoy without it and lordie it is yummy half been sliced and sliced into pieces for freezer.
No wonder I plod along with a 1lb or 2lb a week weight loss where others shift 6 to 7lbs but heck what is life without Cake and the weight will come off just at a slower pace 😊

Kerry, thanks for honest review. Those drawers would drive me mad! I love my Ninja Speedi, and like you, I always hand wash the drawer, and crisper tray. I n fact, I hand wash all my pans that are non stick.
Our DIL has a Tower Vortex double tray air fryer, and have used it several times. It’s very good, and helped out loads when the main gas cooker packed up!

Thank you for the honest truth. I particularly appreciate it because I am debating about getting a new air fryer and fore warned is fore armed they say. I have the dual zone ninja but really want one with the two elements in it so I'm thinking maybe the casori double blaze but it doesn't have the window in it. There is one that does and I think it has the two elements in it. What do you think? I have only had my ninja fora month or so. I tried spare ribs in it yesterday but was not impressed. I did turn them and so on and they did cook ok but they were not as tender as I like and were a bit dry. Would the double element air fryer do a better job I wonder? Have you tried ribs yet? What was the out come?

That warranty thing is a big no for me. I've never bought anything from a company that wasn't accepting warranties on their products. I TY for your review.
Definitely a red flag Barbara👋😀💕 although they're a legit company that sell all sorts of things, do not specialise in airfryers thou - poss that's the reason it wasn't great🧐
My cute white one draw Instant with simple dials is now my go to and not my cosori as it's less wattage but cooks way better love it ...simples is good even the bell is cute and no wretched bleeps its bliss well recommend it. It rven bakes well too euth a loaf tin !

Like you i have a ninja dual and the cosori airfryer oven. I would not buy that ultatechnic the drawers were terrible.

I got Ninja dual basket the little one 300 something for a year or 2 and I got Ninja Speedi rapid cook for 3 weeks also got some airfryer oven from Maxx Home also good airfryer oven one like you got a cousori I hardly cook on the stove except for baking an egg or things really not handy for in airfryer lol
My traditional oven stores my pots n pans lol😀👍💕
Evening Kerry, the drawer on my salter was like that to start with, but with use, it's slackened off, I'm hoping this would be the same 🤞. That start button is like a play/pause on a vcr 😂😂. Oh crikey, I wouldn't be purchasing that if you can't even register the warranty, I wonder if it's due to the reviews that you can't register. 😕🙄. Oh dear Kerry, if you don't like it kiddo don't give space on your workshop top. Anyhow I have been working hard behind the scenes and got a commission at a local warehouse to do a Health and Safety video working with a friend of mine, I am doing the editing as I speak I have almost got the narration done by a female friend and should have it ready by Thursday or Friday, need doing this for about 2 weeks filming 4.5 hours a day, More news later.

Well Kerry, another blogger asked to review a product that is really not new, what can you say! it does not do any thing different than other models in the same price point or cooking style, so if it had something new to offer the consumer as something unique to make it more desirable but i think as you said, it was maybe not the greatest review and maybe the one you got was not typical of the product you received, but never the less it does nothing other models don't do, they all cook {Chips) review can only be based on affordability, reliability, which only will tell, and easy of use, so you found easy of use difficult, but the (Chips) were cooked, i will wait with baited breathe for the next reviewer to tell me they found one that there product is better than the others because, it also feeds the dog while your out! and does all the housework inc the beds, say it as you see it Disappointing.
True Harry, I did watch another review of same model (after I did mine) and the drawers looked sticky there too - wasn't mentioned. The brand do not make AFs exclusively, sell all sorts of stuff, that poss doesn't help😀👍
i have the cosori 5.5 and i dont rate it at all. i find the basket limits what you can cook.. if it had a drawer, and a crisper tray it would be much better. i have a cheap emtronics 9 litre airfryer, which is massive, i use the cheap one daily, the cosori is in back of a cupboard as an extra if needed

😂yes, sync is ok if you know exactly how long something takes to cook. Early days I had no idea but now I do, just stick it on and go, then put on other when I know time is right. I'm syncing on my own lol
