- Hi! Yesterday was my Birthday! Someone reminded me to revisit older game to get to see their Happy Birthday gift! Decided to update the video about it while re-checking the games with lot of details this time.

I remember playing Ultra Moon on my birthday many years ago. I was facing some really tough depression at the time, but seeing this event take place in the Pokémon Center surprised me, and really touched me in a special way. As silly as it may sound since this is just a game, I truly felt that perhaps my life was special; that I was special. It made me tear up as it happened.
You'd be surprised how I survived my depression when my best friends traded me their starters from previous games after the pokemon center sequence.
This happened to me too🥺I was studying abroad and with depression…when I entered the Pokémon center on my birthday, I cried from happiness🥹✨

I actually remember seeing the Birthday bit in Pokemon X when I was a bit younger and cried happy tears, cause at that point no one had really even said anything about it. X and Y instantly endeared themselves to me and even now when Pokemon is doing some odd things, I still go out of my way to play every Pokemon game I can. Call me blind but I am forever a devoted fan. That said I'm not blind to the problems, but I'm willing to over look them so long as the games continue to have the same heart put into them with every new game.
6:41 the ORAS one made me cry ive been playing pokemon for almost 20 yrs now hearing nurse joy say we hope you continue to visit the pokemon center for many more years.... it made me break down and made me think back to visiting the pokemon center for the very first time in pokemon silver i was 4 then i cant express the happiness i felt

Brought my X game on my trip to Orlando for my birthday. Woke up, opened my 3DS and watched both this and the diamond dust near Frost Cavern

Personally I think gen 6 and 7 nailed it the best with the party poppers and the special music actually made it feel more like a really special occasion rather then just another day but with different text
Whats funny is back when x and y were the latest games the game was the first and only thing to say happy birthday to me and 12 yr old me almost cried
I do like how the games celebrated a player's birthday. My favorite is still XY but it is a nice detail that Dawn and Lucas will wish you a Happy Birthday in Diamond and Pearl. I do like that Sword and Shield will play the classic tutorial theme, I completely forgot they did that. Happy Belated birthday dude.

Entering the Pokémon center in X/Y and Omega Ruby on my birthday always makes me so emotional
Recently I was finally able to play SM for the first time and it just so happened that my birthday was close, watching the birthday cinematic for the first time made me cry haha
I remember playing pokemon moon having no idea this was a thing and when the lights went out i thought my 2DS was dying and then almost cried because I forgot it wad my birthday
When I was playing ORAS on my B-day, I went into the Center to heal up after catching some legendaries. Then I was met with the surprise and I couldn’t have been happier.

I love that Pokémon started doing this. In my opinion Alola games went the best for this. However, I also like that in Sword & Shield you get a candle for your curry. The best one to do is the Large Whipped Cream Curry

Going to the pokemon center for my 13th birthday warmed my heart. I wasn't very happy then but it was such a nice, small detail that felt so big.
We are alot people 😊😊. It warms my heart knowing everyone is touched by this simple feature in a game ❤❤ and many did survive depression and such.. happy birthday everyone! 🎉🎉🎉

When I got the birthday celebration in Pokemon Y, I was so confused at first until I saw the streamers and banners and heard the music change. It was such a nice and unexpected touch on my birthday as a Pokemon fan. And one of my favorite memories.

I'm born in November 18 so it's always around my bday when pokemon games are released so I always saw these bday easter eggs and it's always heart melting. Btw, fact, the first time I saw the 6nd gen pokecenter bday, I was in panic because the first 2s, I was scared than my game was broken

I have to say that Scarlet/Violet improved when it comes to birthdays, especially with a feature introduced in Sword/Sheild. I have heard that you can get a mark exclusive to your birthday with the battle title "The Chosen One", I feel like this is true, but I dont remember the name of the mark. They should bring back the friends list for Z-A for the birthday thing, we don't know the time period of the game, and it would be nice to get a revamped version of X/Y's friend list for new game for Kalos.
