I'm still terrified by the Mr. Krabs Doppelganger, that means the real Mr. Krabs is still either wandering the Krusty Krabs vent system for eternity, or is dead. A man who sought to accumulate as much wealth as possible, now doomed to wander penniless and alone in a hell of his own creation, all while everyone he knows and loves are clueless of his fate. I wonder how this connects with the Television Theory btw, is Fake Krabs still involved with the humans?
I think maybe mr krabs acted so sad in the movie when it was exposed that sandy was a spy because, the imagination Mr krabs (our current Mr krabs) had no idea of this deal that was made, which is a really interesting theory
* speaking of doppelgängers, I thought this’d go in a different direction like he was a robot or something, due to the often cartoon nature he has.(I.e. he had to replace his eyes like lightbulbs, has a stomach hatch that he can open like a door, and the time he turned his head around 180, stuff like that)
Man, no one makes SpongeBob theories like Alex. I’m going to miss these. They’re so damn interesting, compelling, well thought-out, and they have a solid internal consistency, while still being entertaining and fun.
Something else to have added with the Squidward Director Theory... Did you know they also made Squidward a director in the Cosmic Shake video game? The video games plot is like multiple different 'universes' of other characters... I believe it was each of their life goals/dreams. I have the Cosmic Shake game myself, but am past Squidward's universe, which was him having directed a movie and becoming a famous and popular director.
If Alex thinks I'm going to rewatch all the mini theories after watching them in the original 4 hour long video, he's absolutely right. That's how good his theories are
I will admit, when talking about the Alien invasion theory, I was excited that you would probably bring up the "SpongeHenge" episode as part of the evidence because it had the jelly fish harassing SpongeBob throughout most of the episode and the ending shows these weird looking aliens and it's pretty creepy.
After watching The Human War Theory:......WAIT, SO THEORIES CAN HAVE HAPPY ENDINGS?! OH MY GOD, I LOVE IT! (Seriously, when was the last time you saw a theory for a game or show, and it has a happy ending?)
Hey you probably won’t see this, but man I love your content the muse film was absolutely amazing and ur theories are literally the best. I’m glad I discovered you a few years ago and love to see where your content goes!❤
54:12 fun fact: there’s a SpongeBob horror game called*bikini bottom around the clock*where there's is a jellyfish invasion (basically your jelly fish theory’s in a game but without the alien thing)
0:35 nah mate, you’re doing it all wrong. You gotta upload them all individually, take out a sponsor on each one and then fill time to hit the 10 minute quota
As someone who has never really watched SpongeBob, I am excited to look into all of your theories! 🎉 I don't the interest or patience to go back and watch old shows but i love the adjacent lore and meta analysis of shows.
I think Imagination Theory explains the horsefly in Wormy. While it's a normal butterfly, the characters imagine it as a monster. And it's why the horsefly doesn't appear immediately when Squidward and Mr. Krabs first see it, it's because SpongeBob and Patrick's Imagination manifested the image of it.
I also think the imagination theory is also backed by the shell episode where sponge bob and Patrick get all they want from the magic conch while squid ward gets jack
So, the GrandPat theory. I have three ways to fix this up. One: Neptune has shown in the first episode he was in or trident trouble that he can duplicate people, so maybe this is a double? Two: The “Neptunes Ascension” painting from the Atlantis episode has a glowing Star he holds, which we haven’t seen again, as of writing this, and it could explain how GrandPat is so old and lived so long! He is made from Neptunes magic, and would explain the crown as well. He is Neptunes little creation to try to keep him company, but he fled. Three: It’s just because GrandPat randomly made up that room. (Imagination theory reference) That’s all I have though. Personally, number two feels like it’s the best option..Thanks for the wonderful time Alex! (Been here since the Promo series)
Ty i was gonna say something like King Neptune created a fake version of the Grandpat soo Patrick and his family dont forget he was not in the ball room
i love how alex bale acknowledges how ridiculous his theories can get when he starts listing the very many secret invasions simultaneously happening in bikini bottom, that part made me laugh
The squidward Director Theory is crazy, seeing things from the movie in the show is insane and really took me a aback, but for the episode to very obviously explain the movie like many other cross references in movies is crazy in itself. Favorite Segment from this video.
I’m surprised Alex didn’t mention the penny-pinching convention when listing all of the crabs in bikini bottom. There’s like a hundred of them in one episode.
@@AlexBaleFilms yeah, but if he was harvesting crabs, and had access to a large amount in an area less likely to be noticed by local police, surely that'd be more likely, no? I mean the Krabby patties are krab theory is bullshit but yk
Then it’s a good thing it’s only a theory and not an established part of the lore because if it was, SpongeBob Squarepants would turn from a kids cartoon into a straight up horror show a la Human Centipede..
@@dafilmqueen556There was a scull inside the TV, that means it was there the entire time, the remain of some diver and this is confirmed, a fact, what isn't confirmed and is just a theory is that the scull belonged to this one man that created map of Bikini Bottom.
Alex, legitimately thank you. I know doing the same type of content gets redundant, but you provided so much to the Spongebob community and that's really commendable. I can't wait to see what you do next.
The television theory is the least unhinged theory. It’s something I even believed to be true when I was a little boy, it seems so obvious just based on those few scenes we saw of human divers
After finishing “Dont Feed The Muse” arc, it got me so excited to watch your short films. You are so talented, and while im glad the spongebob videos helped me find your channel, I’m so glad you have so much content for me to go through
I have a theory of my own. In one episode after Mr. Krabs goes broke. The repomen take all his stuff including Squidward who says “You sold me!” Does this imply that he has ownership over Squidward? Maybe that’s why he’s never quit except for the time he does which Mr. Krabs responds with “You cant quit”
For the Squidward director theory, I think it's also possible that Squidward, being the way he is, wanted to be the director of a film so bad that he was willing to accept support and funding from the Goofy Goober cult (possibly not even knowing their intentions) and was asked to include the propaganda in return for said funding and support. Creating a menu item in his likeness could be either a way to pay tribute and thanks to him for spreading their message or another thing they did to sweeten the deal in order to get him to include the propaganda.
Brad Bird did something similar with The Incredibles. The superhero interviews you can find on the special features/bonus features menu is another example of lore. They even added actual voice acting to the interviews. I found that online, and let me tell you, the voice acting is so good, it makes those superheroes feel like actual people rather than just side characters who died either by cape or by Syndrome murder. They didn’t have to, but they did. They created lore content for the in-universe worlds we know and love. You know what means! LOORRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
Uploading content you worked so hard on in an easily-consumable video (especially when people asked for it) is absolutely not milking it. Like you said, you earned the right to make every cent off this that you possibly can 😅
Since This Is The End Of Spongebob Theories i have something to say Alex you make us happy every day by your videos and your spongebob theories made us shocked and surprised and since your not making spongebob theories anymore i know that these theories will be in our hearts forever Thank you Alex bale
About the Krusty Krab's name: it wasn't even really named by Mr. Krabs. The building was a retirement home that he bought out for his restaurant, called the "Rusty Krab". He just added a K to "Rusty" to fit better with the restaurant he was planning to establish. So even disregarding how illogical it is for Mr. Krabs to have named it after his dark secret, or the other reasons why he could have named it that, he didn't make the "Krab" part of the name to begin with!
Something worth noting with the Imagination Theory is the magic conch in the Club SpongeBob episode. Unlike the Box in Idiot Box, Squidward is shown the power of imagination manifesting things directly. The conch worked for SpongeBob, Patrick and the Explorer because they believed (and could imagine) the conch's power. Meanwhile, Squidward couldn't manifest anything despite his desperate pleas. All because he wasn't a true believer. Also fun fact (probably not important), but Spongebob, Patrick and Squidward live on Conch street. SpongeBob's number being 124. This oddly lines up with the users and believers of the conch. 1. SpongeBob 2. Patrick 3. Squidward 4. The Explorer The 3 is missing because Squidward isn't a part of the group.
"I worked hard on these mini theories I think I deserve that" 1000000000% bro not only your 'main' spongebob theories but all your content is loved and deserves its money making magiccc 🔥
43:57 I have an easy fix that I'll share again. Grandpat is lying in the room labelled 14. Squidward mentioned King Neptune XIV once, but never said that he was THE King Neptune, just one of them. The King Neptune we know is ACTUALLY King Neptune XV, and Grandpat is his secret father, King Neptune XIV, hiding from his son in plain sight among the common folk to avoid retribution for abandoning him as a baby. **mic drop sound effect**
Honestly I loved the main theory and then mini theory that format was very entertaining to me but honestly I'm glad the mini theories are getting milked separately ..i mean I mean uploaded
My add on speculation to the Pinhead Larry Theory: The foul taste of the Protein Shakes and Kelp Shakes is described as "a dirty sport sock"... And they saved Larrys Life, so... What if the dirty bubbles 'essence' is the secret ingredient? The dirty bubble always has all of his memories whenever he is re-summoned. Maybe the properties of his 'dirty bubble' are the radio-active material? It wouldn't be beyond comic-characters to have Superpowers through radiation (Spiderman, Hulk, even SUPERMAN through Sun-radiation). And even Bikini Bottom has the nuclear flounder, a villain connected to radiation. It wouldn't surprise me if Larry tried to get his own super-powers to help the dirty bubble and ended up with the Kelp-Shake formula. But he got ctrl + alt + delete'd by Sandy before he could. And then he reformed from this near-end experience and had a redemption arc.
A redemption arc seems to make sense, especially with how seemingly harmless and well-intentioned Larry appears throughout the show. In fact, given how soft-hearted the quote on quote “supervillains” in this show sometimes tend to be, I wouldn’t be surprised if Larry was inspired to take his well-meaning drug empire to the max in a subtle way and the Dirty Bubble’s presence at the gym was him showing how proud he was that Larry accomplished his dream. You know, like somebody who raised his nephew should be..
@@dafilmqueen556 Right, I forgot about how nice the supervillains can be. I remember them having a bookclub in one episode, that was hilarious! But yeah, it would also explain why Sandy and Larry are friends. Maybe she DOES know, but accepts his attempt at redemption. It wouldn't be beyond Sandy, she's quite forgiving.
For the grandpa theory, it's important to realize that in greek mythology there has been a time when poseidon was punished by zeus for his rebellion, turning him into a human and forcing him to live the life of a human being for a set period of time it is very possible for him to have taken the form of a mortal starfish four reasons we cannot fathom at the moment
I think grandpa is not really Poseidon himself. I think he is just a noble under the king who is Poseidon. Won't be surprised if he's a former noble who just abdicated himself and everyone because they are dumb and just took the benefits and wealth. That can explain how Patrick can still live comfortably despite having pretty much no life. He's a trust fund baby and besides, most of his stuff is made of sand, anyway and his house is just one room. Leave the rest to cartoon logic and boom you have it. TL;DR - Patrick's grandpa is a noble under Poseidon who retired seeing how none of his family is fit to be a proper heir but still enjoys the benefits of being ex-nobility. Patrick is a trust fund kid.
You probably have some of the best presented theories on the platform. Back when Matpat was in his prime I always loved how his Majora's Mask theory was presented like a horror story, and you do that but even more cinematic. Whenever that movie of yours is out it'll 100% be award winning material, and if not I'll create my own award show for it
When you think about it, each mini theory seems to match up with the main theory’s. (I don’t know how the Imagination Theory connects with the Squidlium Theory) The skeleton theory matches with the TV theory’s idea of SpongeBob being a TV show. The Mrs. Puff theory part 2 continues The Mrs. Puff. The Human War Theory focuses on the idea of a war from the Evolution Theory. The Grand Pat Theory talks about king Neptune and his Origin like The Neptune Theory. The Squidward Director theory connects with the Goofy Goobers Theory. The Alien Jellyfish Theory is about Sci Fi creatures trying to invade like The Robot Invasion Theory. And Larry the Lobster Theory is about 2 characters from SpongeBob being the same just like the Time Traveling Ghost Pirate theory.
7:43 I remember watching this episode and I was confused at the time especially the part were the film crew just runoff when they got spotted by the gang, and I also got confused on the scene were Mr Krabs gets separated from the gang and just suddenly reappeares in the next scene after SpongeBob was just about to tell Plankton Mr Krab’s secret formula and Plankton end up getting squished by imaginary Mr Krabs. It all makes sense now, and I’m horrified…
Yeah same, I hope the channels keep doing a lot of money for MatPat and his family but most of his crew doesn't quite cut it for me, haven't watch the new videos in a while.
There are theories that mess everything up because people just keep looking for clues in literally everything and then there are theories like these which GIVE MORE LORE to the cartoons
28:28 About the crab theory, the Krabby Patty actually contains no meat in it. If my research is right, the creator of SpongeBob said there is no meat in the patty. I know this isn’t proven in the show, but I think that since Larry is the one selling illegal kelp shakes, he could be selling Krabs some kelp at a cheap price.
I love to see that your heading in a different direction, but I'm also glad you put that "probably no more SpongeBob theories" in the video. You know NO ONE theorizes like you, and you also know deep down what you have found in the SpongeBob universe so far may only scratch the surface to what is really going on. In the future, maybe way in the future, I would like to see the "SpongeBob Solved" theory. Until then, keep up the outstanding work!
I really feel like he was leading up to this but missed it. But Larry is obviously way more muscular now than previously, so he HAS to keep working out to maintain appearances as his new persona/identity. He was probably a skinny lobster before and now he's just pumped uP!
@@ansemthetrueseekerofdarkne2730 tbh he’s just kind of the king of theories in general. I am absolutely shocked that he made a 12 hour long theory of Madagascar.💀
If they're showing ancestors in the museum episode, it wouldn't be her husband, it would be an ancestor of her husband. The fish in Shell City could still be her husband.
I think it would be an ancestor of hers on her mom’s side. She probably picked up the name “puff” that way, by looking through the family tree before she changed it
Finally the krabs theory was given a actual debunking Hated that theory because that was basically the only evidence except the "krab trap" and the lack of krabs Thank you for making alot of people realize that Alex
That 4-hour long conspiracy compilation video I will say was hands down the most entertaining thing I ever listened to while in the Middle of rearranging my whole living space. Had to stop multiple times just a process what I was hearing well done Alex well done. 👏 👏 👏
And someone in Bikini Bottom was psychotic enough to use a dead guy’s head to create a television. The Pearl’s mother theory was already dark enough, but an argument could be made that as she was dead, there wasn’t a whole lot Mr Krabs could’ve done for her other than raise her daughter and Bikini Bottom needs food after the war, so of course he would at least be justified in making food for Bikini Bottom even if it came from an unfortunate carcass. There’s no excuse, however, for someone being psychotic enough to use a dead body as a decoration instead of food..
the mrs puff theory is the only theory i’ve ever seen that makes COMPLETE sense !! Every detail of it fits into the storyline and all small details about mrs puff fit into it. there’s nothing that can disprove it.

For larry's theory another reason why sandy may not recognize him is because of his strength. Think about it, hes constantly obsessed with keeping up his good physique, and whenever he shows signs of not fitting that physique he seems to almost panic. What if before this he wasnt obsessed with weight, but after the kelp juice revived him and he took up a new identity he buffened up extremely to disguise himself even more, and hes worried about ever not fitting that description because he doesn't want sandy to find him again.
Great point. Maybe the bubble guy had suspicions on who Larry was and had history with the Dirty Bubble and Larry. Maybe bubble guy played everything out nicely to make spongebob say comments about Larry's appearance. In a panic. Larry gets scared.

One of the most disturbing moments in the show for me personally
After watching The Human War Theory:......WAIT, SO THEORIES CAN HAVE HAPPY ENDINGS?! OH MY GOD, I LOVE IT!

As someone who has never really watched SpongeBob, I am excited to look into all of your theories! 🎉
I don't the interest or patience to go back and watch old shows but i love the adjacent lore and meta analysis of shows.
I really love the use of the Little Nightmares OST in your videos. They really amp up the spookiness.
FINALLY someone talked about this. Cause in his Pixar theory, the thin man theme reveal something plays!!! AND NO ONE TALKS ABOUT IT😢
So, the GrandPat theory.
(Imagination theory reference)
That’s all I have though. Personally, number two feels like it’s the best option..Thanks for the wonderful time Alex! (Been here since the Promo series)
Ty i was gonna say something like King Neptune created a fake version of the Grandpat soo Patrick and his family dont forget he was not in the ball room
i love how alex bale acknowledges how ridiculous his theories can get when he starts listing the very many secret invasions simultaneously happening in bikini bottom, that part made me laugh
everytime i thought the vid was gonna end it didn’t and that made me tism out so good
The squidward Director Theory is crazy, seeing things from the movie in the show is insane and really took me a aback, but for the episode to very obviously explain the movie like many other cross references in movies is crazy in itself. Favorite Segment from this video.
I’m surprised Alex didn’t mention the penny-pinching convention when listing all of the crabs in bikini bottom. There’s like a hundred of them in one episode.
They’re from out of town so they wouldn’t count
Yeah dude, like Alex said, the Penny Pinching Convention I'm pretty sure were from New Kelp City or wherever.
@@AlexBaleFilms yeah, but if he was harvesting crabs, and had access to a large amount in an area less likely to be noticed by local police, surely that'd be more likely, no?

My theory is after the ships SUPER close to the shockwave got blasted, the decaying bodys on those ships drooped down to bikini bottom.
Spongebob just straight up staring into a skull everyday for hours is some messed up shit
Then it’s a good thing it’s only a theory and not an established part of the lore because if it was, SpongeBob Squarepants would turn from a kids cartoon into a straight up horror show a la Human Centipede..
we saw a skull in their bro its confirmed theres nothing to debunk it to
@@dafilmqueen556It’s confirmed that there’s a skull in there even if it’s not the same guy it’s still a skull
@@dafilmqueen556There was a scull inside the TV, that means it was there the entire time, the remain of some diver and this is confirmed, a fact, what isn't confirmed and is just a theory is that the scull belonged to this one man that created map of Bikini Bottom.
@@Darwidx, that’s actually what I meant, but yeah, I guess..
Alex, legitimately thank you. I know doing the same type of content gets redundant, but you provided so much to the Spongebob community and that's really commendable. I can't wait to see what you do next.
The krabs and skeleton theory is FREAKING HORRIFYING
The television theory is the least unhinged theory. It’s something I even believed to be true when I was a little boy, it seems so obvious just based on those few scenes we saw of human divers
After finishing “Dont Feed The Muse” arc, it got me so excited to watch your short films. You are so talented, and while im glad the spongebob videos helped me find your channel, I’m so glad you have so much content for me to go through
Although it’s sad I’m glad your moving on because u built onto your channel from these but it’s nice to see a change 😊❤
Blackmail?
Human trafficking?
@sethreitz3269 yes and in the episode where he did quit, Mr. Krabs said “you can’t quit!” What did he mean by that?
Sold his soul for 10 cents?
@@ked4962 actually l
For the Squidward director theory, I think it's also possible that Squidward, being the way he is, wanted to be the director of a film so bad that he was willing to accept support and funding from the Goofy Goober cult (possibly not even knowing their intentions) and was asked to include the propaganda in return for said funding and support. Creating a menu item in his likeness could be either a way to pay tribute and thanks to him for spreading their message or another thing they did to sweeten the deal in order to get him to include the propaganda.
ngl reading this comment before watching the full video is wild lmfao
@@ashtonprice3I can imagine lol
When he returns years later with a new SpongeBob theory it’s going to be epic
I still think it’s wild that Stephan made the pitch Bible sound like an ARG before the concept was even a thing.
@dafilmqueen556 I remember years ago listening to 1 of those voice recordings and it just sounded like a normal guy talking about his life.
Uploading content you worked so hard on in an easily-consumable video (especially when people asked for it) is absolutely not milking it. Like you said, you earned the right to make every cent off this that you possibly can 😅
I feel like they separated Mr. Krabs from the group so that the “real one” couldn’t interfere with the Plankton Imagination gag.
Since This Is The End Of Spongebob Theories i have something to say
Alex you make us happy every day by your videos and your spongebob theories made us shocked and surprised and since your not making spongebob theories anymore i know that these theories will be in our hearts forever
Thank you Alex bale
About the Krusty Krab's name: it wasn't even really named by Mr. Krabs. The building was a retirement home that he bought out for his restaurant, called the "Rusty Krab". He just added a K to "Rusty" to fit better with the restaurant he was planning to establish. So even disregarding how illogical it is for Mr. Krabs to have named it after his dark secret, or the other reasons why he could have named it that, he didn't make the "Krab" part of the name to begin with!
Can't even lie. Awesome video. Not even a SpongeBob fan just came across this. Watched the whole thing! Lol
30:30 is literally why context is so important when explaining anything
1. SpongeBob
2. Patrick
3. Squidward
4. The Explorer
The 3 is missing because Squidward isn't a part of the group.
I like this but it doesnt explain why neptune isnt at all partly starfish like unlike his alledged father
cause he changed his appearance poseidon can do that but this does clash with the neptune theory

Going down the average Alex Bale experience where it sounds absolutely absurd and by the end I believe every word he says
My add on speculation to the Pinhead Larry Theory:
The foul taste of the Protein Shakes and Kelp Shakes is described as "a dirty sport sock"...
All your videos are great. Thank you for these last spongebob gems.

These theories are actually very convincing
When you think about it, each mini theory seems to match up with the main theory’s.
(I don’t know how the Imagination Theory connects with the Squidlium Theory)
The skeleton theory matches with the TV theory’s idea of SpongeBob being a TV show.
Squilliam could be "imagining" his wealth and fame to make himself look good, thus making it come true
Another crazy point. My heads about to explode.

The fact that Larry probably faked his death like Michael Townley in Grand Theft Auto 5 is unexpected. To say the least. 🤯
I really feel like he was leading up to this but missed it. But Larry is obviously way more muscular now than previously, so he HAS to keep working out to maintain appearances as his new persona/identity. He was probably a skinny lobster before and now he's just pumped uP!

Oh my God The skeleton theory actually makes so much sense
And someone in Bikini Bottom was psychotic enough to use a dead guy’s head to create a television. The Pearl’s mother theory was already dark enough, but an argument could be made that as she was dead, there wasn’t a whole lot Mr Krabs could’ve done for her other than raise her daughter and Bikini Bottom needs food after the war, so of course he would at least be justified in making food for Bikini Bottom even if it came from an unfortunate carcass. There’s no excuse, however, for someone being psychotic enough to use a dead body as a decoration instead of food..
