Older brother killed younger brother to save him as he believed they were going to foster care. Think mum got found guilty Second episode: the dad is a psychiatrist. He had talked to the detectives who explained about the camp and the cat dying accidentally. The dad wanted the boy tried in family court so that two lives weren’t ruined. When they worked out he was lying and tried to stop the family court case, the dad, because of his professional background, understood what kind of budding little psychopath the kid was, and the law that would result in him getting out at 18 years old. The bit where they are the corridor and it cuts to Wong interviewing the dad, that scene continued in the corridor with the dad grabbing an officers gun and killing the boy. Dad claimed a fugue state as defence. Because of his profession he was able to fake the features of it afterwards and was found not guilty by reason of temporary mental defect. He admitted afterwards that he knew what he was doing (double jeopardy applies) Third episode: mum had been sent the antidepressants anonymously with her name on them. She was desperate to help her son, who she had tried everything she could to help him with his mental health. He was about to be expelled due to his behaviour if the school felt nothing was going to change. She was already struggling financially so couldn’t afford therapy and insurance would cover it. She decided to give him the pills. Later they go after the pharmaceutical company. They were running a very dodgy and illegal marketing campaign I can’t remember if they ever worked out who sent mum the pills Edit: corrected a autocorrect error. I do want to add more about the first one, cuz i just watched the episode: (obviously spoilers!) they ended up finding an OLDER brother through child services (the mom referred to a specific acronym that was only a thing in NJ) who revealed more of the truth, AND connected him with the now surviving middle child (the one who did the murder). As it turned out, the older brother cudn't stand the abuse once the dad died and sought help and got sent to foster system. This likely triggered the mom even more. She also used this to further her lies by tellling the other 2 kids that their older brother died in the foster system and the same will happen to them. More investigation revealed that she was very isolationist and controlling of the kids as well. Upon seeing the older brother and realizing his mom lied,, he revealed what happened - that the mom directly gave him the gun and basically told him to shoot so they will be spared the horrible life in foster care. This was the missing link, as prior to this they couldn't make the charges against mom stick as it was just about her beliefs rather than direct action, and you can't prosecute someone for beliefs or raising their kids with specific beliefs. he confronted his mother at the lawyers office about her lies along with his now found older brother. The episode ends there, with the mom being taken away once more.

Psychopath isn’t actually a term that psychologist use to diagnose those types of kids. (Hollywood thing). It’s called anti-social personality disorder. My psychology teacher once passed around a drawing this boy did with this disorder and it was the most uncomfortable disturbing feeling holding that thing. He drew his family in a house fire that he had started.
To people who might think this stuff doesn’t happen in real life there are plenty of instances where stuff like this happens irl for example the waukesha stabbing where 2 12 year old girls stabbed their friend almost to death in the name of slender man it’s a real story look it up

I was born Asperger's too, diagnosed at 19, lived about 11 school years until 3rd grade middle school with the same bully, I usually tried to avoid or ignore him, only in the last few years I asked for help and the teacher tried to stop him, but only in the last class dinner before summer, as the bully tormented me again, there I shouted out all the frustration I accumulated, scaring him for good. After that we went to different high school and university/workplace and I became a software developer, while he worked in a pizza restaurant. A few months ago I had a dinner with the old class and I saw him again: for all the evening he always avoided talking or even making eye contact with me, after all those years it was such a satisfying moment to feel some defeat in him.

In "Star Wars: TCW", there was this quote that said "Evil isn't born, it's taught.". Even if a child is born with unfiltered urges, without the proper nurture, that's when they'll turn evil. I wonder what's the definition of "evil" by people. By the older brother's standards, it seems "evil" correlated to the entire world. By Jake, it seems "evil" is merely the norm. Neglect, spoiling, despair...There are so many ways for a parent to break a child. But it'll be up to the latter to choose the reaction according to the beliefs engraved in their brains.
I’d suggest hatred and racism are almost always taught. Evil, when defined by a lack of morals, or empathy, is more often a sign of psychopathy, especially when it’s exhibited in young people.

Even before the reveal, something in the way Jake talked felt...wrong. I'm curious about something. How can a psycho/sociopath have so little regard for his own body ? I thought their lack of emotional stimuli would lead them to be extra careful about those, since they're extra narcisistic. Are they that empty inside ? What's all the narcisism for if they won't even care for themselves ?
What felt wrong to you is that the emotion was performative. The way he expressed emotions from the start--- he *looked* like he was acting. Similar to what you see in old cheesy sitcoms. This is actually pretty legit (source; I'm a therapist XD) in terms of antisocial personality disorder; the people who struggle with this often do not understand emotions or how to display them sincerely. So they practice and copy what they see in media/from other people. If they're good at that, they can become VERY persuasive, charismatic and appear very genuine. If they're not so good at it, they come off like Jake does here; with a level of 'performance' that is offputting to others. As for him hurting himself, it's not about having little regard, and it's not about narcissism. It's about manipulation to get what he needs/wants. Jake is likely extremely aware of the fact that he doesn't really 'pass' well when it comes to expression of normal day to day emotions, so he needs a backup plan. Notice how much more believable his emotional display was when he was able to just lean into the Big Drama of it? That's his Get Out of Jail Free card, literally. But he has to have the story to back that up. So he hurts himself, concocts a story to justify the emotional breakdown, and uses both to manipulate the adults around him into meeting his needs/desires. This is also pretty textbook accurate--albeit on the SEVERE end lol. Being extremely manipulative in pretty much all areas of social contact is a diagnostic criteria for antisocial personality disorder.

It's not that I don't feel them, my face and voice just don't express them as easily as other people do, which is ironic, because I've always been complimented whenever I perform in theatre. An aspd person will ofren cut and hurt themselves. They bruise themselves and say others did it. Common tactic. They dont care about themselves alot commit suicide as they do know deep down they are bad and have to manipulate. I had an aspd partner who often bruised his face and lied and said whoever he was mad at did it. He did it so often police even caught on. He wpuld every few months break dowm and say he wanted to be someome different; but this is jist for pity. They even attempt suicide to get out of court cases etc but its always well timed; when they need emotional support.sometimes i guess it is they feel bad about their actions but when they aint caught they dont break down they only seem to break down when they realise their actions have consequences they cant escape. Arguably the boy in video is a psychopath cuz a sociopath gets more emotional and would be very upset when sentenced however short as they feel they dont deserve it. A psychopath know he deserves more and can keeo themselves regulated with thoights like that. They are very manipulative people , incredibly. The beat way to deal with a sociopath or psychopath is get as far away as possible and never look back. Trying to out them will backfire.
I dated a boy like that sociopath. He would say he could put on tears in court. His mum makes excuse after excuse for him. He has ASPD and is very violent, and hurts animals and strangled me so much I would have seizures and pass out. They get away with it. Its the grossest misjustice..they have lifelong records and short sentences cuz courts feel bad for them. They know the criminal system inside and out; he screams at his lawyer: he fell asleep in court; he would lock me in the house with no keys or phone or tv or even a book just my cay who he got for me; and hed take my bedroom door off so I couldnt barricade or hide and hed beat me every day and even in my sleep Id have to keep shoes on while i slept. Hed kick me out alot then come find me and drag me home. Hes an amazing liar; i wpuldnt call cops after a beating but he would with some story just incase i reported him later on. I got out with me and my cat; my bruised all over and a broken rib; my cat with a broken pelvis. We both survived but god they are evil. And still i feel bad for him cuz i remember the times he tried kill himself for it. When he met me I was a Honours Physics student at university; with a flat and car and dog (who he hit so i gave him up) it was also cuz he made me honeless (threatened my landlord); kept coming to universiry grounds and during covid woth online lectures would start screaming accusing me of cheating when i was clwarly in a lecture) By the end i was addicted to pain meds and weed due to the beatings; he took coke and threw in that i took that too (i dont) i ended up withdrawing bad from pain meds but i still smoke weed. I was homeless. I was a drop out from uni; all sorts. They ruin you. Its now 3 years later; me and Ssmmy are good. I visit my dog. Thw seizures have stopped. Ive reenrolled at university. I hace a car and a flat. Hes on a restraining order; he went to prison and applied to 3 high and supreme courts ti get him out as he hated it so much. He moved to england and beat a girl there (me and the girl became friends when she found me online). He didnt get arested but she got him beat up , few mo ths kater he trjed kill hinself and was in a coma. Hes alive now; and has cats. I hate him.
Hypothetical scenario, if during 4 years, a kid refused to leave their house, and school, or any other institution didn't help, and in a desperate move, the mother decided to take advantage of the fact they were moving outta town to cut the kid's access to some basic needs in order to force him out of the house (the company contracted for the change would cut the electricity, so while there would be food, it would go bad after a while), would that be abuse ? If a kid hasn't left the house in 4 years by refusal the school board should have come in and gotten some psychiatrical help because that kid should have been at school if they're still a kid.
See when I think basic needs I think food water and shelter. So if any of those are being threatened then yes it’s abuse, to me at least. But if it’s a matter of the child or the environment then I’d have to simply question the motives, but if the child is still cared for then no not abuse.

And she did it, because it's been 4 years, she made no progress getting him out of the house, she received no help, they were about to move, and she was certain if he didn't to at least say goodbye, he'd regret it forever. The plan was that he'd get out, get food for himself, and hopefully, regain contact with the outside world. If it didn't work, they'd move, and the plan was to forget completely.
Emotional abuse shouldn’t be hard to prove if you see somebody is manipulating someone you see someone’s constantly trying to put them down or do anything that is seen as emotionally manipulative I just can’t list all the things without making this a huge novel but it shouldn’t be hard to prove I was emotionally, abused as a kid, and I can tell you that the signs are pretty visible as an adults talking to people who knew me when I was a kid. Some of my friends are even saying now as adults you know, now that we’re adults we’re kind of seeing the behaviour you displayed was showing that someone could’ve been emotionally abusing you obviously, that was my best friend who brought that up and that was because I had brought it up first but what I’m saying is now as adults me and my friends can look back on my behavior As a kid and clearly see that I was being emotionally abused and these are friends who sometimes didn’t even come over to my house. These were Friend’s that I hung out with at school and stayed friends with and then only started hanging out with outside of school when school ended meaning when we graduated they had never been over to my house and seen what happened there so I don’t think it’s that hard to prove if you clearly see like for example, in this situation, the mother is using food to control him and he is clearly not wanted her to know that she’s eaten. He’s nervous about her. He scared about her. They should immediately be seen as abuse. The two detectives were absolutely right while I agree at this point in time they can’t exactly prove what kind of abuse it is it’s definitely either physical or emotional
It can be both. Sadly, some people are born evil, and that evil ca express itself at any time. Sometimes it's when they are children. But some people were never shown proper skills, Empathy, or have servre trauma.

I know and understand the sociopathic boy a little too well without giving away too much. As kids, we are supposed to be seen as innocent and would never do this kind of thing. But what happens when all the signs are there in the open and ur parents refuse to see it, and now as an adult, u have to live every day as a recluse cause u know things can become dangerous. The person sees a counselor now. But the thoughts of harming are so strong that its better to just stay away from others.
About that last episode who did the mom get it from?Was it anyone with the legal and professional expertise to describe that medication?Because I have Asperger's and one difficulties and I know how messed up taking incorrect type medication can do to a person and a kid should not be able to stay up for three days straight with out being under the influence of something serious that affects the mentally. A pharmaceutical company had a business partnership with a bunch of psychologists, and they just sent out a free trial of their medication to a bunch their patients without mentioning the negative side effects or that the meds hadn't been properly tested. The company saw that the mother had previously been prescribed antidepressants so they sent a sample of their medication to her. She read the leaflet and their glamorised description and thought it would help her son, which is why she tried it on him. They proved the Pharma company was being negligent and tried to have the CEO charged with facilitating a murder but instead he was charged with criminal diversion of prescriptions and reckless endangerment and was imprisoned

Nature vs Nurture is a thing and was studied by Frude. Our Nature is what were raised in and how that could determine what your provived with growing up ( home, schools, nabourhood, and most envirmental factors. While nuture can over power the nature factors if those around you raising you provide the best care, support and love. They both go hand in hand as how someone will be raised and how they will be impacted by both as an adult.

I find certain "rights" we, as citizens, have, to be disturbing. I know "Security over freedom" is the pathway to dictadorship, but if "Star Wars EU" teaches something, is that the reason people even consider it, is because the freedom we praise so much is often mistaken by anarchy. Kinda is a normal phrase. People play with guns and accidents happen. Not everyone learns Firearm Safety and not everyone cares to follow it. I have only handled a gun twice in my entire life and always used the FSR. Treat all weapons as if they are loaded. Never aim them at another person and keep your finger off the trigger unless you are going to fire. Some triggers are more sensitive than others therefore it takes less pressure to pull it back, hence the accidental shots when you are not even trying to shoot. Like the Sheriff who shot himself in the leg while holstering his gun. Finger off the trigger when you are not shooting. A lot of KIDS don't follow the FSR so they either harm themselves, another person or scare people. If you ever go to a gun range, you will notice very quickly that if you aim a gun at someone near you, the RM range master will grab the barrel of the gun, tell you to put it down or take it off you forcefully and then tell you to leave the range. People have actively killed others at gun ranges and have shot themselves at gun stores simply because they either meant to kill someone or were idiots with the firearm. Rule number ONE, treat every weapon as if it is loaded, even if you know it isn't.

I was born Asperger's too, diagnosed at 19, lived about 11 school years until 3rd grade middle school with the same bully, I usually tried to avoid or ignore him, only in the last few years I asked for help and the teacher tried to stop him, but only in the last class dinner before summer, as the bully tormented me again, there I shouted out all the frustration I accumulated, scaring him for good.
After that we went to different high school and university/workplace and I became a software developer, while he worked in a pizza restaurant.
A few months ago I had a dinner with the old class and I saw him again: for all the evening he always avoided talking or even making eye contact with me, after all those years it was such a satisfying moment to feel some defeat in him.

I'm curious about something. How can a psycho/sociopath have so little regard for his own body ? I thought their lack of emotional stimuli would lead them to be extra careful about those, since they're extra narcisistic. Are they that empty inside ? What's all the narcisism for if they won't even care for themselves ?
What felt wrong to you is that the emotion was performative. The way he expressed emotions from the start--- he *looked* like he was acting. Similar to what you see in old cheesy sitcoms. This is actually pretty legit (source; I'm a therapist XD) in terms of antisocial personality disorder; the people who struggle with this often do not understand emotions or how to display them sincerely. So they practice and copy what they see in media/from other people. If they're good at that, they can become VERY persuasive, charismatic and appear very genuine. If they're not so good at it, they come off like Jake does here; with a level of 'performance' that is offputting to others.
As for him hurting himself, it's not about having little regard, and it's not about narcissism. It's about manipulation to get what he needs/wants. Jake is likely extremely aware of the fact that he doesn't really 'pass' well when it comes to expression of normal day to day emotions, so he needs a backup plan. Notice how much more believable his emotional display was when he was able to just lean into the Big Drama of it? That's his Get Out of Jail Free card, literally. But he has to have the story to back that up. So he hurts himself, concocts a story to justify the emotional breakdown, and uses both to manipulate the adults around him into meeting his needs/desires. This is also pretty textbook accurate--albeit on the SEVERE end lol. Being extremely manipulative in pretty much all areas of social contact is a diagnostic criteria for antisocial personality disorder.

I also have difficulty expressing some day to day emotions. I hope I don't come off too performing either. It's not that I don't feel them, my face and voice just don't express them as easily as other people do, which is ironic, because I've always been complimented whenever I perform in theatre.

An aspd person will ofren cut and hurt themselves. They bruise themselves and say others did it. Common tactic. They dont care about themselves alot commit suicide as they do know deep down they are bad and have to manipulate. I had an aspd partner who often bruised his face and lied and said whoever he was mad at did it. He did it so often police even caught on. He wpuld every few months break dowm and say he wanted to be someome different; but this is jist for pity. They even attempt suicide to get out of court cases etc but its always well timed; when they need emotional support.sometimes i guess it is they feel bad about their actions but when they aint caught they dont break down they only seem to break down when they realise their actions have consequences they cant escape. Arguably the boy in video is a psychopath cuz a sociopath gets more emotional and would be very upset when sentenced however short as they feel they dont deserve it. A psychopath know he deserves more and can keeo themselves regulated with thoights like that. They are very manipulative people , incredibly. The beat way to deal with a sociopath or psychopath is get as far away as possible and never look back. Trying to out them will backfire.
I dated a boy like that sociopath. He would say he could put on tears in court. His mum makes excuse after excuse for him. He has ASPD and is very violent, and hurts animals and strangled me so much I would have seizures and pass out. They get away with it. Its the grossest misjustice..they have lifelong records and short sentences cuz courts feel bad for them. They know the criminal system inside and out; he screams at his lawyer: he fell asleep in court; he would lock me in the house with no keys or phone or tv or even a book just my cay who he got for me; and hed take my bedroom door off so I couldnt barricade or hide and hed beat me every day and even in my sleep Id have to keep shoes on while i slept. Hed kick me out alot then come find me and drag me home. Hes an amazing liar; i wpuldnt call cops after a beating but he would with some story just incase i reported him later on. I got out with me and my cat; my bruised all over and a broken rib; my cat with a broken pelvis. We both survived but god they are evil. And still i feel bad for him cuz i remember the times he tried kill himself for it.
When he met me I was a Honours Physics student at university; with a flat and car and dog (who he hit so i gave him up) it was also cuz he made me honeless (threatened my landlord); kept coming to universiry grounds and during covid woth online lectures would start screaming accusing me of cheating when i was clwarly in a lecture)
By the end i was addicted to pain meds and weed due to the beatings; he took coke and threw in that i took that too (i dont) i ended up withdrawing bad from pain meds but i still smoke weed. I was homeless. I was a drop out from uni; all sorts. They ruin you.
Its now 3 years later; me and Ssmmy are good. I visit my dog. Thw seizures have stopped. Ive reenrolled at university. I hace a car and a flat. Hes on a restraining order; he went to prison and applied to 3 high and supreme courts ti get him out as he hated it so much. He moved to england and beat a girl there (me and the girl became friends when she found me online). He didnt get arested but she got him beat up , few mo ths kater he trjed kill hinself and was in a coma. Hes alive now; and has cats. I hate him.

Hypothetical scenario, if during 4 years, a kid refused to leave their house, and school, or any other institution didn't help, and in a desperate move, the mother decided to take advantage of the fact they were moving outta town to cut the kid's access to some basic needs in order to force him out of the house (the company contracted for the change would cut the electricity, so while there would be food, it would go bad after a while), would that be abuse ?

If a kid hasn't left the house in 4 years by refusal the school board should have come in and gotten some psychiatrical help because that kid should have been at school if they're still a kid.

See when I think basic needs I think food water and shelter. So if any of those are being threatened then yes it’s abuse, to me at least. But if it’s a matter of the child or the environment then I’d have to simply question the motives, but if the child is still cared for then no not abuse.

And she did it, because it's been 4 years, she made no progress getting him out of the house, she received no help, they were about to move, and she was certain if he didn't to at least say goodbye, he'd regret it forever.
The plan was that he'd get out, get food for himself, and hopefully, regain contact with the outside world. If it didn't work, they'd move, and the plan was to forget completely.

Emotional abuse shouldn’t be hard to prove if you see somebody is manipulating someone you see someone’s constantly trying to put them down or do anything that is seen as emotionally manipulative I just can’t list all the things without making this a huge novel but it shouldn’t be hard to prove I was emotionally, abused as a kid, and I can tell you that the signs are pretty visible as an adults talking to people who knew me when I was a kid. Some of my friends are even saying now as adults you know, now that we’re adults we’re kind of seeing the behaviour you displayed was showing that someone could’ve been emotionally abusing you obviously, that was my best friend who brought that up and that was because I had brought it up first but what I’m saying is now as adults me and my friends can look back on my behavior As a kid and clearly see that I was being emotionally abused and these are friends who sometimes didn’t even come over to my house. These were Friend’s that I hung out with at school and stayed friends with and then only started hanging out with outside of school when school ended meaning when we graduated they had never been over to my house and seen what happened there so I don’t think it’s that hard to prove if you clearly see like for example, in this situation, the mother is using food to control him and he is clearly not wanted her to know that she’s eaten. He’s nervous about her. He scared about her. They should immediately be seen as abuse. The two detectives were absolutely right while I agree at this point in time they can’t exactly prove what kind of abuse it is it’s definitely either physical or emotional

About that last episode who did the mom get it from?Was it anyone with the legal and professional expertise to describe that medication?Because I have Asperger's and one difficulties and I know how messed up taking incorrect type medication can do to a person and a kid should not be able to stay up for three days straight with out being under the influence of something serious that affects the mentally. I can't even take drink alcohol because of my medication .
A pharmaceutical company had a business partnership with a bunch of psychologists, and they just sent out a free trial of their medication to a bunch their patients without mentioning the negative side effects or that the meds hadn't been properly tested.
The company saw that the mother had previously been prescribed antidepressants so they sent a sample of their medication to her. She read the leaflet and their glamorised description and thought it would help her son, which is why she tried it on him.
They proved the Pharma company was being negligent and tried to have the CEO charged with facilitating a murder but instead he was charged with criminal diversion of prescriptions and reckless endangerment and was imprisoned
@@MikaIsDead Sounds like the mother was more negligent than the company considering they didn't even intend for the medication to go to the kid and see gave it to a clearly Gave someone who had clear problems to begin with strong medication that wasn't even intended for them. I mean when I talk to my mom I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to give unintended type medication to juveniles like painkillers without having going through your doctor or another professional.
There's a reason why most psychotropic drugs are scheduled so only a MD can prescribe them.

Our Nature is what were raised in and how that could determine what your provived with growing up ( home, schools, nabourhood, and most envirmental factors. While nuture can over power the nature factors if those around you raising you provide the best care, support and love. I find certain "rights" we, as citizens, have, to be disturbing. I know "Security over freedom" is the pathway to dictadorship, but if "Star Wars EU" teaches something, is that the reason people even consider it, is because the freedom we praise so much is often mistaken by anarchy.

Kinda is a normal phrase. People play with guns and accidents happen. Not everyone learns Firearm Safety and not everyone cares to follow it. I have only handled a gun twice in my entire life and always used the FSR. Treat all weapons as if they are loaded. Never aim them at another person and keep your finger off the trigger unless you are going to fire. Some triggers are more sensitive than others therefore it takes less pressure to pull it back, hence the accidental shots when you are not even trying to shoot. Like the Sheriff who shot himself in the leg while holstering his gun. Finger off the trigger when you are not shooting. A lot of KIDS don't follow the FSR so they either harm themselves, another person or scare people. If you ever go to a gun range, you will notice very quickly that if you aim a gun at someone near you, the RM range master will grab the barrel of the gun, tell you to put it down or take it off you forcefully and then tell you to leave the range. People have actively killed others at gun ranges and have shot themselves at gun stores simply because they either meant to kill someone or were idiots with the firearm. Rule number ONE, treat every weapon as if it is loaded, even if you know it isn't.
