Wow thank you for giving a reaction to one of my favorite featuring of Bedjine. Let me try to explain you a little bit. The man name is Shabba , he got a band name Ekip. Ekip is a Haitian word for team. So Ekip is his band with two other guys name Steeve Khe, and D-perfect. This feature name is Separasyon meaning separation. According to Shabba, he had a press conference he said this feature is based in a true story of him and he’s wife Claudia. They have been married for couple years and have kids. But sadly they private matter will always be in the Haitian blogs. So the song is like him telling Bedjine that he is aware that he was not treating her right all this time, also saying even though he was not a good man she was still by his side. He also said he ratter see her smiling with another man rather staying with him and feel sad. And Bedjine part is her saying: just because we cannot be together that doesn’t mean the love I have for you will suddenly disappear. So basically both sides are saying we know that we cannot be together but we will still have love for each other. Even in the music video Shabba the other hands is still struggling from his new relationship but Bedjine is having great time with her new man. This feature is from Ekip new album. And that’s one of my favorite song from the album beside sa’n poko wè anko by Steeve Khe on the album. 😊 hope you understand a little bit.
