Man, your videos are going to go viral I think. You have a skill in addressing the viewers my friend. You do good work, you seem like a hard working honest guy. Just stay consistent on posting these little golden nuggets and before you know it you will have a million subscribers. And again, I have to mention how amazing that color is.. thanks for sharing man. I'm way away from seals but your content is just too good not to watch. 🇺🇸💪👍🍻
Dude! Thank you so much! I really appreciate the kind words and the feedback definitely helps keep me motivate to keep the videos coming! Its all about keeping these old cars on the road and hopefully giving people some knowledge and confidence to get it done!
Seemed to work pretty quick too. If you try it, let me know what you think. I can’t be 100% that that’s what did the trick. But they seemed to be super set the day after I put the silicone on.
Love this video! I’ve been watching all your videos and I have an issue that I haven’t found you cover. For the life of me I don’t know how to put the headlight bezels in and I feel really dumb cause they look like it should be simple but won’t squeeze in the bumper holes. The headlights are in the bumper.
Its all good Adam, there have been plenty of times where ive had to scratch my head WAAAY longer than i should have to figure something out on this build. Once it clicks though..... youll get it! So my next video will be the install of the bezels on this 71' bumper. Maybe that will help if you havnt got it by then. What year is yours? shoot me a note on facebook messenger or an email to heavypedalgarage@gmail.com and maybe i can send you a quick clip prior to me posting my next vid...
Hi Nath, just the video & info i was looking for ! I am choosing to add the water gutters on mine simply because the car’s black and will require regular washing & cleaning - and want to route the water down the gutters rather than leak past windows & into the car - cheers Nath - hope you & fam are well, merry christmas from downunder where its currently 95f
Me too. I think working in the silicone spray helped a bunch as well. I think the silicone softened it, but the sun formed the seals and set the memory on them.
Great video! I'm in the process of installing all the weather seals on my Monte. This video answered all of my questions. Thank you 🤝💯
Glad it was helpful! Im familiar with the Monte. Been tuning in for a while now. Lookin good!
Great video on installing the weatherstripping!!!
Thanks 👍 this was a great part of the project. came together quick after that.
Excellent video. Great explanations and showing how-to.
Thanks for watching!
Very well explained 👍🏻 just yesterday I ordered a pair of door seals, now I know how to install them properly! Thank you so much for your video!
Thank you for making this video. Very helpful.
Awesome! glad it helped!
Good job! Wooden dowel, grease on the push pins and a rubber mallet made this a piece of cake for me [the door weatherstrip]
Great tip! I never thought to put some grease on the pins. Super idea, thanks for sharing!
Excellent sir. These are great videos. Your video skills far surpass mine!
Great job Nate, love the progress made.
Thanks buddy. coming along pretty quick now!
Thank you for making this video.
Hard to find info on this. 👍

Silicone lubricant.. I have to try that! I have stiff seals and I’m hoping that it will help them break better.

Sounds good. Merry Christmas Brother. Thanks.
Where did you get the door seals?
Second Gen Graveyard. Search em on facebook and youtube.
The door push pins killed my fingers
And mine closed hard till I let it sit in the sun for a day
Yup. I did about half of the first door without the push rod! Rough!
