I really enjoy Quay's reactions. She is so right that the Bee Gees were unique in every aspect of music. Growing up as brothers, they had a lot of practice singing together, and this is why they have so much control over their voices. The three of them could sound like one great voice.
I love your reactions. Love that big smile when you start getting into a song. Reminds me when I was in 7th grade, I gave a girl this album for her birthday. She had the Barry Gibb fever like alot of girls back then. I asked her" What's he got I don't got? " That eruption of laughter from her and her friends made sure I never asked THAT again" God bless and keep rockin
they were child prodigies, they have been making music since 1958! by the time this song was recorded they were writing and performing for over 20 years , they made music over40 years together and barry is doing music for over 60 years
I grew up listening to the Bee Gees, & you have no idea how happy it makes me, to see the younger generation discover the music we fell in love with !!! Barry Gibb, in my opinion, has the best falsetto voice ever, & what makes it so incredible, is that in his falsetto, he also used his vibrato, which is very rare! Thank you so much for this, they were brothers, & Barry is the last one, but please review more of their music, you will not be disappointed, & they span over years, & crossed many genres 😍 I also believe, that if there is music in Heaven, it would sound like the Bee Gee's ❤️❤️❤️
This is THE quintessential Disco song of all time. It was the opening song for the famous movie, Saturday Night Fever, whose soundtrack was a HUGE success, spawning tons of hits and introducing Disco to the world at large.
This song was the epitome of the Disco Era from 1975 to 1980. The public first heard it during the opening credits of "Saturday Night Fever" with John Travolta walking down the street in New York City. In the next 6 months it sold 50 million copies.
This is also the song you are supposed to have in your head when you give someone CPR...same tempo of pushes.. But so true ..no auto tuning with these guys..
So many good songs came out of the 70's from Rock to Disco and even Motown, Funk and the Sound of Philadelphia. I do recommend The Three Degrees son When Will I See You Again and Paul McCartney and Wings, Band On The Run.
They came out in the early 70s Andy Gibb passed away in 88 I believe, his brother the lead singer Barry I believe is still alive but his other brother passed away in 03.. The Bee Gees 3 brothers, insane voices
Barry Gibb is the king of the falsetto. I recommend you:Nights On Broadway,How Can You Mend A Broken Heart,Alone,You Win Again,Run To Me,If I Can't Have You,I Gotta Get A Message To You,To Love Somebody, all great songs of these brothers.
"How Can You Mend A Broken Heart" is a good song to follow this one. I wonder where this video was filmed, there was a lot of abandoned stuff in the background. This song was a popular disco song. I saw your usual smile of approval, which is always nice. Great reaction, thanks for sharing. Stay safe.
I believe it was on an unused movie set. It was shot during the time they were filming Sgt. Pepper (a movie they were in). And It think 🤔 I heard that they also wrote three #1 songs in the same afternoon/evening during this same time period.
The walk at the beginning was because that is how the Saturday Night Fever movie started with John Travolta walking down the street to this song, the drum beat is actually the same beat of Night Fever (from the same movie) because their drummer had to go back to England when they recorded the song, it actually would have been quite a different song because the director of the movie wanted them to put in a real slow part in the middle of the song to have John Travolta falling in love on the dance floor, luckily the director was fired so the song wasn't changed
Great reaction! Try Jive Talkin’, Nights on Broadway, Tragedy, I’ve Got to Get a Message to You. There are sooo many more. You can’t go wrong with a BeeGees song!
Reaction was ok, some reactions didn't go so well. Just a nodding head is not a great reaction. I have seen better reactions. She just started with reaction, i guess. The real pro's react far much better.
As embarrassing as this is to admit I used to have such a crush on Barry he was such a good looking man when he was young. And maybe it's just me but if you ever seen him clean-shaven and see a picture of him next to his youngest brother Andy they look so much alike it's crazy.
Bee Gees was pretty dope back in the early 80s when I was old enough to understand the lyrics... Never a fan of Wham but this song is dope and he has a great voice as well. George Michael - Careless Whisper, sooo many singers to name back in the 70-90s that could actually sing. Deff not the same now a days there will never be another Ronald Isley, Babyface, RFTW, Boys II Men etc...
First, this is not a reaction request, but a sharing of some musical usage. THE movie this song was used in and its accompanying image is from the opening scene of the movie Saturday Night Fever. That is the only meaningful image for me since it was burned deeply into my psyche at that time. Also, the lyrics and video make a lot of sense there. Here's that opening scene. ruclips.net/video/HVEqy6K18Yo/видео.html If you choose to listen, enjoy.

I think what you were trying to say is they don't have Auto-Tune
Bee Gees one of the greatest talents of all time, but as far as smiles go, yours is 2nd to none.
Thank you
This was the #1 dance song for the whole decade of the 70's ;)
I really enjoy Quay's reactions. She is so right that the Bee Gees were unique in every aspect of music. Growing up as brothers, they had a lot of practice singing together, and this is why they have so much control over their voices. The three of them could sound like one great voice.
Hi Quay, what a tune. I love the Bee Gees. Watching your reaction has made me so happy. Thanks Quay. 🥰🥰❤❤
At 3:55 Barry's hair in the wind looks just like a puffy cloud!! His smile is AMAZING, HE IS TOTALLY ADORABLE, AND THAT VOICE!!! EPIC!

EPIC Song in so many movis, shows, soul train etc and less than 1% of us thought they were white giggles

How deep is your Love is a great song.

@@quayreacts Yes Bee Gees sing it.

And Another woman fell in love with Barry Gibb.

You have a beautiful smile too! Loving your mix!🤘🏻Minnesota🇺🇸
Wow she can react like a professional.
Saturday Night Fever, that all you need to know. The Bee Gees with one of the biggest soundtracks of all time.
You gotta do the Bee Gee’s too much heaven.
Your smile, love it!!!’ 💓
Who does not like Barry's smile. Or hair for that matter.
Yeah. His hair is awesome. Hipsters should revive that look. Even if it's just to be ironic.
I love your reaction. You got lost in the music and that's what it is all about.

Very good!! React For whom the bell tolls live Bee Gees..
Soundtrack of Saturday Night Fever. Sold billions of album.

best place they added this song was in the goofy movie, when big foot was dancing in the background.
This song is off of the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. As well as You Should Be Dancing was just another Bee Gees song and it's really funky.
Bee Gees wrote a ton of songs for different arrests when they got tagged as only a Disco group. Very talented group!!!
Beautiful Reaction

Another great reaction man....
You should do a reaction to one of their earliest albums when Robin was the lead singer and they had more of a folk music vibe.
As embarrassing as this is to admit I used to have such a crush on Barry he was such a good looking man when he was young. And maybe it's just me but if you ever seen him clean-shaven and see a picture of him next to his youngest brother Andy they look so much alike it's crazy.
Why is it embarrassing? The guy is still attractive at 74.
You gotta do Bobby Caldwell “What you won’t do for love” it’s a must and a boost for you
