    Great video! I would love to take the Harim Bingham. Does the train ride come with guide and tickets into Machu Picchu or does that need to be bought separately?

    • @JonathanPetramala
      @JonathanPetramala  2 года назад +1

      Thank you! It comes with everything. A private bus to the gate, entrance and a guide in English or Spanish. Afterwards the tea hour in the hotel by the gate is amazing too. I recommend doing the round trip.

    I live in Cusco and the train trip is the best experience, although we travel on a local train, many schools take students to see Machu Picchu as an excursion, the views, the landscapes, the train trip is a great experience to Machu Picchu. I think I enjoyed the train ride more than Machu Picchu lol

    I do think that bus ride and being able to stop and see the local area instead of the train just wizzing by was nice, but you have to tell us what the man spritzed onto the glass before he served the drink.
    At $1000.00 per person, how full is the train?

    • @JonathanPetramala
      @JonathanPetramala  2 года назад +1

      We maybe had 15 people on the train. I think because of the pandemic they had fewer people. It was not crowded at all, plenty of space. We are pretty sure it was lavender spray.

      I would say the ride up for sure. It was dusk when we started the journey back down so it was dark for most of the trip back. If you can close your eyes and spend the extra money, we are glad that we spent the extra for the round trip because we didn’t have to worry about anything from transportation up to Machu Picchu to the guide inside and no waiting for our ride back to the train.
