ECM Classica is a great machine. Stainless steal boiler, no hoses in the water reservoir and a supremely built and finish. Marzocco and Lelit are using stainless steel boilers as well. Bezzera is using copper boilers and there are hoses in the water reservoir which is putting me off. The espresso is tasting superb. As for making a cuppucino I do prefer first pulling a shot then steamng the milk. This it's more comfortable and relaxing than the other way round.
Very nice review! I noticed that with single boiler machines like this they can use a lot of water. Do you know if it’s possible to use the excess water coming from the steam wand and dump it back to the reservoir after it cools down? I’m curious to know if there’s a possibility that it could damage the machine.
Hi K P, you may put back the excess water into the reservoir but you have to make sure that the water has completely cooled down to room temperature before puting it back.
Well done video! I learned some new things about the Classika. Thankyou Also, what grinder is that? (Consider editing your text notes to include that information)
Thank for the review. I find it puzzling that at the end of the shot the temperature dropped from 93 to 88 as shown on the PID's display. I was hoping this machine keeps the actual temperature very close to the set temperature...

Thank-you...excellent video.
Thank you very much for your comment 😊
Thanks a lot for a great overview! i need your opinion about durability of this machine. Is this machine is good choice for long term use?
I want to know the trick you have done before the extraction with the lever and the pressure, actually the reason, thank you
Nice Sumo!
I cant decide on ECM classika or Expobar office leva..?

That is normal. It has nothing to do with the actual brew temp that is being applied on the puck which is constant all the way.
please can you tell me how to use the P switch - what isi s for?
The steampower is a very weak point.
As for making espresso's the ECM Classica does an excellent job.
How much spare for cup height?
Thanks; great overview! I now want one. Do u sell to costumers in USA with 110 volt machines?
Hi Steven, the voltage would be an issue if we sell the machine from our side.
