    I usually cant tell the difference but this is the ONE video that showed me the differences and is convincing me to get a sub

    Even on my iPad Pro 1st gen, this was definitive in making the decision to get this with the sub versus without it.

    why do you have your 1's up front surely they should be behind the camera position

      Some of the ppl usind stereo mode for music, for example im listening music more than watching movies, so im using in stereo mode everything with TIDAL app, using beam and two SL's with a gen3 sub , amazing quality with lastest updates, so hes listening how he want it :))

    I could listen to this all day long. The sub sounds INCREDIBLE. I'm sure it is even crazier in person!
    This definitely convinced me to buy it and it will be added to my two Play:5s.

      Thanks, I might be doing a more clearer comparison soon.

    Thanks for taking the time to put this video together! Both on TV speakers and headphones (per your recommendation) the difference is clearly noticeable. Now to save up for both a Playbar and Sub! 😂 Maybe the Homepod coming out Friday will shake SONOS prices down just a bit in order to suck more of the population into their ecosystem...

    Why do you have the surrounds in such a weird place?

  • @jeroenjww
    @jeroenjww 4 года назад +1

    Can you notice the lag between the sound and the movie itself due to the wireless connection?

      No, but you need good wifi

    Hi, recently i bought a sonos and LG Oled tv. Exactly same system you using now. Can i know how to configure sonos connect with LG magic remote controller?

    • @JipSlinger
      @JipSlinger 6 лет назад

      Jacky Chan magic uses a radio signal not a remote infrared signal. You can use the normal lg remote for sonos.

    I thinking of getting just the play bare and sub no surround speakers you think that still be good of an experience for movies music games

    • @AllSeeyingGuy
      @AllSeeyingGuy  6 лет назад

      Ryan Scherbluk Yeah, the surrounds are nice but not necessary for a good expierence. The Sub however is vital in my opinion.

    it is properly me (using pretty high quality headphones) but I really do not hear any sound improvement....just an misplaced echo on the bass, there is simply no reason too place these subs.....You can not hear them!

      No it's not just you. I've looked at other reviews, and the sub is underwhelming. It's not his recording mic either, because his voice has more depth than the sub! LOL

      R ichard I have the sub and it’s phenomenal. This video really doesn’t do it justice.

    Why the fuck are you using youtube witch is stereo 2.0 and have your surround speakers in the front??? What???

    Do you know if the sub has as much impact for the low end with the Playbase which already has a small integrated sub, unlike the Playbar?

    • @AllSeeyingGuy
      @AllSeeyingGuy  7 лет назад

      TheQuantumAthiest Yes, the Playbase on it's own still needs a Sub for movies. I've had the Playbar and Playbase and both simply need the Sub for movoies. For music you only might need the Playbase.

    I was thinking of picking up the Sonos 5.1 setup for 70% movies and 30% music. But since Sonos don't support some format like dts I'm wondering if I would miss out on anything or I should go the regular way with a AV receiver and speakers. Any advice? Thanks

    • @AllSeeyingGuy
      @AllSeeyingGuy  7 лет назад

      Randy King The SONOS 5.1 is ideal if you like listening to music and movies on the same system, dedicated systems usually do a little better on movies but don't work with music very well. That being said, the SONOS 5.1 beats alot of dedicated systems out there, including everything from Bose, Harman Kardon and JBL. The only annoyance is the lack of HDMI and DTS support so you have to be picky when shopping for a UHD HDR blu ray player. I will be buying the Samsung HDR Blu Ray player which outputs DD 5.1 through an optical port.

      Hey Randy King , have you made your pick of 5.1. I had a similar question and good you asked. Wanted to get opinion on setting up 5.1 with 1x Beam, 1x Sub and 2x Sonos One. Any recommendation against Onkyo TXNR6xx + Paradigm combo (Dolby+Atmos)

      Beuksmurf I generally don't turn up the Sub this high haha. SONOS has a nightmode which also turns off the Sub.
