The Frescoes were painted in the late 18 th century by Antonaci Grech
known as in Najci.His.only self portrait is conserved in a Maltese Private Collection. Palazzo Dorell was occupied by the British troops during the French invasion 1798 -1800 and General Thomas Graham resided there.An important and rare letter printed in the Palazzo and dated 1800 is still conserved in a Private Collection. This rare letter was sent by General Graham to the Maltese that were inside Valletta as The Capital city was still.occupied by the French
