Personally, I think your art style would be very cool for graphic design! It’d be nice to see such an artistic take on branding other than just the same old warm color palette logos. It might be hard to get out there, but I’m sure you’ll find a company who will gladly accept your style! I wish you the best of luck!
My high school art class is the same way. Like listen lady. I draw in a way that I’m comfortable with drawing, and works for the purpose I want it to (comic style illustrations). Not everyone has to draw a certain way and it’s annoying (Also, I’d totally buy stuff with your designs if I had money)
This industry in particular is a living hell or a living nightmare. It's so frustrating and it truly sucks. Your style is just amazing, Tauriie Tauriie. Please, don't let these people's rotten opinion get stuck in your head, it's not worth it. But I completely understand why it hurts. These people don't even respect or care about this other style you talk about. So, yeah, it's the industry that's basically broken. And, yes, things shouldn't be like this at all.
see, the problem with your art style is, it has too much soul and personality, it's not safe enough. companies have a tendency to copy each other's styles cause it's safe. it's boring, uninspired, but it's safe. stupid, but there's a reason all logos are becoming more and more simplified too. soul has no place within soulless companies i guess

I did decide to study... 2 years in a row in various Polish artistic universities but unfortunately I didn't get anywhere. I really really wanted to get into the film school in Łódź and even made an animatic for them but it didn't work hah... Guess I could post it someday

I hate when school kills creativity, when I was 6 years old I got severely criticized for drawing a black cat (which my family had lol)
