Iniesta's dribbling is underrated imo. He's one of best dribblers ever. His ball control is godly like the ball is glued to his feet. His passing is exquisite. He's very press resistant. He reads the game well. If there's one midfielder that has every possible quality needed for being a good midfielder, it's Iniesta. There's never enough praise for Iniesta. He deserves all of it and more.

The only player in the history of football that became best player of the match in a champions league final, a World Cup final, and a Euro cup final. I agree with Fernando Torres’ who once said that he never seen Iniesta playing a bad game, not even in training. I think there are players who lost more balls in one game, iniesta did in his whole career. There were games Especialy against Mourinho’s madrid where they shut down Xavi and Messi due to incredibly great marking and pressing as whole, but only iniesta delivered in those games. Remember the dribble against madrid when Xavi scored. That game was hard, but iniesta still found a way to kill that game. Mr consistant.

I pick iniesta slightly over him, because of his consistancy over the years Basicly Every game. Zidane did it in the important games, but was invisible in a lot of small matches.

It was heartbreaking to watch Iniesta getting aged and finally leaving Barcelona. Felt like half of Barca was gone.! Such a great player. Super intelligent, master of his game. One of a kind. It was a pleasure to watch him on the pitch. 👏👏👏
Midfielder usually left or declined around 30s. They have to run more snd go up and down the whole match. There tons of player out there can play till 35 or more but they just a average players.

He was just at the peak of his game. Also dismantled just about every team that year like no ones ever seen. Sneijder and Iniesta are key players without question but not as impactful

Do you know what they mastered? Simple basic football playing. No flashy tricks. Just direct passing, direct shooting, direct play making choices. The simplest football playing is the most dominant style if mastered, and have keen intuition, and also clairvoyance in their arsenal (in my eyes, cus its just amazing how they accomplish what they do at the highest level,and dominate with ease)
How about his really quick feet, his change of pace, I think that part of his game is so underrated, the way he glides past defenders, magical.
