It was sooo sooo good! I really enjoyed last night watching Faust (from a german cinema) and Erwin Schrott - wow! Just wow! What an evening! Wish I could see and hear it again
The whole opera was superb, four fine voices with Erwin Schrott's masterly interpretation at its centre. A great bass voice and a fine actor. More, please.
Erwin Schrott, a great, great, great surprise for me, yesterday in Fausto in cinemas. It's Mefistofeles!!! Really, as singer and as actor... It's "THE DEVIL", MY FIRST TIME LOOKING THIS SINGER BUT NO THE LAST. For me, was the protagonist. Looking forward to more Erwin. I hope retourning to de Royal Ópera early.gorgeous... A great applause!!!

These are so-called musicians of today!!! I bet none of them read the book !!! This is not a musical conversation this is just NOTHING !!! Ettinger tried to make career with Mozart ( One of the worst performances at the Salzburg festival ) Rossini ( where he got booed in Munich ) Puccini ( you couldn’t hear the singers ) now he’s trying to specialize in French music.... and you cannot « try « to conduct French music if you don’t have Raffinesse !!! If you watch a little bit closer he is doing exactly the same thing that Daniel Barenboim is doing !!! The musicians from today are the charlatans from the past!!! This is such a fraud business
