The very premise of scientology, that all pain should be removed or its power diminished, flies in the face of every athlete's experience. Athletes don't just engulf themselves in pain, they dominate in the face of pain and let the experience evolve them. Psychological and emotional pain are no different. They can evolve us if we are willing to work through the experience to dominate whatever that pain may be in order to truly rule our emotions. The idea from the New Testament to "take up our cross daily" is the same idea. We embrace those sacrifices in order to evolve ourselves according to Christ's commandments.

    Always talking of "New Light"...
Never see the old, more-than-good-enough Light.
I was arguing with ONE! (seldom enough...) JW, about trinity; after 3! hours slapping each other with bible verses, my HEART was aching in pain, i said we have to stop here; he smiled arrogantly and said why, we just begun. I left the room. When i came back few minutes later, God had taken spirit of bossiness out of my heart!
Felt then like the left holes of a squid been around my heart...thankfully went on and NEVER argued with one again.
I think, here we have to take care a LOT, Matthew 7.6.
    Blessings!

Yes, that speaks of 2 different individuals. ...not peoples. "God is not a human", Job 9:32 / Numbers 23:19 / Hosea 11:9 But the man Jesus, the second Adam, is a human, 1 Timothy 2:5 ...And God doth not change, Malachi 3:6
God(YHVH, The Father) AND the Messiah Jesus. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus." 1 Timothy 2:5 The eternal truth right there, very simple and clear.

Titus 1:4 has the two, God and Jesus, spoken of separately. In fact it really tells the reader that God is the Father. Paul earlier to the Corinthians says there is only One God, the Father. Jesus is not the Father, he is not God.
Jehovah says he is the only savior (Isa 43: 11) and besides him there is no savior. (Hos. 13:4)
But the Bible also calls the Judges in Israel "saviors". (Judge 2:16; 3:9,15,31; 6:37; 7:7; 10:10) David is called savior (1 Sam. 23:5) Finally, Jesus is called Savior. Some have made the claim, as I see this video has, that since Jehovah says he is the only savior and there is no other, and the Bible
calls Jesus savior, Jehovah is Jesus and Jesus is Jehovah, i.e. God. That reasoning also should include "David is Jehovah". and "the Judges of Israel are each of them, Jehovah".
Obviously, this is wrong reasoning. How did Jesus, David, Gideon. Ehud, Othniel, Shamgar, Sampson and more and others get to be called Saviors? Simply put, Jehovah sent them. His power and backing was with them. They acted not of their own will, but acted on Jehovah"s will.
Is this also the case for Jesus? Let the scriptures show.-
Acts 5:31 God exaulted Jesus to be savior
Acts 13:23 God brought Israel a savior. Jesus
Jude 25 God is our savior through Jesus. (KJV-deletes through Jesus Christ out lord)
John 3:16.17 God sent Jesus for the world to be saved through him (Luke 2:11)
John 5:30 Jesus came to save, not of his own will, but the will of the one whom sent him, God.
Jehovah is the only Savior. When he hears from those who need
salvation, He sends them a savior. If he doesn't send someone, there is no salvation. (Isa. 19:20) Salvation belongs to Jehovah. (Psa. 3:8)
Jesus is the only means of salvation. Our being saved comes from the Father, Jehovah God, the Savior Supreme, through Jesus whom he sent into the world. Not another name under heaven has been given among men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)

The messiah (Jesus) is called "Everlasting Father" in Isaiah 9:6, you are wrong and so is the watchtower. It should be very simple as scripture states but you twist & change scripture into a pretzel like the watchtower mindlessly does. May Jehovah rebuke you along with your wicked and false teaching.

I don’t know which teaching of the Trinity you believe in, but RUclips “Trinity” videos mostly teach that there are three distinct persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Each being distinct. The Father is not the Son the son is not the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit is not the Father. They together make up the One God.
So is Jesus, the Son also the Father?

@@Scott48-w9i I know that, Jesus is not the Holy Spirit (The Councilor - John 14:26) yet he is called "Wonderful Councilor". In hebrew it is "Avi'Ad" or Eternal Father, a name not ever given to God the Father in the Bible and rightfully so because it is a name that should only be given to a divine fleshly manifestation of everlasting rulership. The verse is an old testament prophetic witness to the Holy Trinity where the messiah is given attributes of the other two persons of the trinity through a divine manifestation. Again, The Holy Spirit is called "The Councilor" but Jesus is called "Wonderful Councilor" and The Father is called "Heavenly Father" but Jesus is called "Eternal Father", the difference being that Jesus is expousing Fatherly divine attributes (Protection, Governance, Perfect will and order) during the eschaton. In the eternal state all persons will be at a perfect harmonical representation as there will be no need to enhance/amplify one person of the trinity during certain dispensations like there was in the fallen state. The confusion only lies due to fallen humanity and the complex process of redemption that God has laid out for mankind, but on the surface it is simple as it just means he will be called the everlasting father during his millenial reign. Isaiah 9:6 enhances the trinity, it doesn't diminish it.

of the great God and of our Savior, Jesus Christ: Paul here discusses the “glorious manifestation” of both God and Jesus Christ. Usually, the term “manifestation” is used only in connection with Jesus. (2Th 2:8; 1Ti 6:14; 2Ti 1:10; 4:1, 8) Some scholars therefore argue that only one person is referred to here, so they render this phrase, “of our great God and Saviour, Jesus Christ.” They thus view this text as proof that the inspired Scriptures describe Jesus as “the great God.” However, many scholars and Bible translators acknowledge that this passage can properly be rendered as it is in the New World Translation, referring to two distinct persons.-Support for this rendering can be found in the Kingdom Interlinear, App. 2E, “Of the Great God and of [the] Savior of Us, Christ Jesus.”

I used to be associated with the Watchtower organization (they are NOT Jehovah’s witnesses in description, only as an assumed title). Gladly no longer the case. Having said that, the argumentation used in this video is surprisingly weak. Are we to assume that because two individuals share the same titular description, Savior, that they are then part of some triune godhead? Many people throughout the Scriptures have been identified as Saviors, but only in the case of Jesus is it asserted that this somehow makes him one with God, vs. working within God’s purpose as an instrumentality of salvation. I have been struggling with issues around the Trinity since my departure from the Watchtower organization, and I have yet to find a compelling reason to believe it.

@@georgehunter7099 Thank you for your concern George. I am reading the NET and LSB translations now - both very well done in their own way. While the NWT has its good points in the 1984 edition, especially around the rendering of Hebrew verb tenses, it is also written with a clear agenda and is therefore not trustworthy. I have done some real soul searching, which has included being in touch with theologians and others on the subject of the Trinity, and as I said in my comment, I remain unconvinced. I recognize I probably come to the table with biases that I am trying very hard to eliminate. My thinking has definitely come a long way since my days with Watchtower, and I am sure it has a long way to go. I remain open to what the Scriptures and the Holy Spirit reveal.

Well, you critics are just wrong, Jehovah is a Savior and Jesus also is a Savior. Before Jesus came to the earth, the only Savior was Jehovah who rescued his people Israel numerous times from their enemies as stated at: (Isaiah 43:11) I-I am Jehovah, and besides me there is no savior.”
“We must obey God as ruler rather than men. The God of our forefathers raised up Jesus, whom you slew, hanging him upon a stake. GOD EXALTED THIS ONE AS CHIEF AGENT AND SAVIOR TO HIS RIGHT HAND, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. And we are witnesses of these matters, and so is the holy spirit, which God has given to those obeying him as ruler.”-Acts 5:29-32.
Jesus became a savior of all those putting faith in him and billions who will be resurrected by Jesus during the millennium. There is no misunderstanding except on the part of Ankerberg and his JW critics.

@criticalthinker1513 In matters of doctrine, they are scriptural. People always focus on dates that were speculations, not doctrines of faith. There is a huge difference between the two, every religion has made incorrect predictions based on incomplete understanding but that has nothing to do with interpreting Scriptures and prophecies correctly.

@criticalthinker1513 JW's have been having organ transplants for years, they just don't accept blood transfusions.
A recent study found that kidney transplant recipients who did not receive blood transfusions prior to surgery had survival and organ function rates similar to those of kidney patients who did receive transfusions.
Researchers at the University of Minnesota compared Jehovah’s Witnesses, who refused blood transfusions for religious reasons, to a control group of non-Jehovah’s Witnesses who received kidneys along with transfusions. Their findings were published in the June 1988 issue of Transplantation.
      Hitchhiking Risky
There have been many who had open heart surgery, even liver transplants without blood, receiving an organ transplant is a conscience matter, not transfusions.

EVERYONE who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born from God and conquers the world. To the one that conquers I will grant to eat of the tree of life and they will by no means be harmed by the second death. (1 John 5:1-5; Rev 2:7, 11)
Jesus said, “Truly I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the son of man and drink his blood, you have NO LIFE within yourselves.” (John 6:53)
Yet JWs publicly deny his flesh and blood. Therefore, they have NO LIFE in themselves. This is how the devil misleads the chosen that found their way to JW, by using men to convince them to refuse the lifesaving emblems. This is a gross sin perpetuated by a sickening cult!
