What strikes me is how genuine her love for God is, you can see it in her eyes. She truly believes it in her heart that God loved her even at her worst. I want that.

We all have that love from God. We are all born with that love and mercy from our Lord. John 3:16 says it all. Just believe in Jesus is our savior and the Love is there.
He will show you....just ask Him to heal your eyes, and then seek His Word.
You can and will have that. It often takes time and a continued growing relationship with Jesus. I pray you find that, and I ask that you keep and/or maintain the relationship you have with God. I ask that you do not compare your journey to any other and enjoy the different steps of your walk with Jesus.
