      Thank you so much. My goal is to ramp up to 2 uploads per week ... but it might take a miracle to actually get there.

    I tried to solve it by equation method, I computed the 0 shear location to be 2.47m from the left support and the maximum moment to be -39.855 N.m.

      I wasn't able to recreate the numbers you got. But - to get those answers, you would definitely need different reaction forces than I had. I recommend going back to the free body diagram and comparing how you solved for your reaction forces, vs how I solved for mine, and see if that explains why we got different values. Be mindful that my Fa force on the left ended up being negative not positive, so Fa is actually pointing downwards.
