  • This is a mushroom made from the same cherry branch as the twig pot in my last video. Mushrooms are a quick and easy wood turning project that will help you get experience with tool control and build confidence for making other projects. They come in all shapes and sizes. limited only by your imagination. You can batch them out if you want to sell them at art markets. They make a great lower price product for impulse buyers. As you make them and increase productivity they can definitely add to your profit margin.
I hope you enjoy the video.
    Thanks for watching.

Nice video. The live edge is way too large proportionately in my opinion. I keep them under 1/4” even on large shrooms. Smaller shrooms under that. To keep the bark from flying off thin Ca glue works great after it sets up.

Hi Sid, Fantastic video. It is nice to see quick projects in real time. I have only ever made one mushroom but you are right I think they would be a great impulse but at craft fairs. Take care Sid. Cheers, Huw

Thanks. I know peoples attention span isn't very long. Even 10 minutes is pushing it. Cheers Sid.

It's like an unspoken rule to leave the video before the end. Your over 50% retention. According to youtube that's a good number.

@@Sidswoodworkingprojects Hi Sid, Where did you see my retention rate as I can't find it? Are you using Tubebuddy? Cheers, Huw

@@WoodenItBeNice I didn't see yours. I guesstimated from the times you said. You audience retention is in your youtube studio. It has all the stats for your channel and each video.
