Our Karmic theory is based on reincarnation. All of us will keep reincarnating until the point we dissolve all our past and present karmas. That's when we attain moksha and become one with Shree Narayan.
My own mamaji too remembered his past life. In his present life he is born as a Brahmin and chicken was not allowed in a Brahmin family then. When he was unwell at the age of 3 he told my mom who is my mamaji 's elder sister , to give him chicken soup. My mom was stunned as they never had chicken in their house. When asked he said he was a son of a business man and during Durga Puja he passed away due to an illness, when his father had gone to buy garments for the shop from another state. He named the state too which was impossible for a little boy who haven't heard of that state in his present house. It took quite sometime to forget his past life. He even told his name was Pintu in his past life.

People in my house think I am my paternal grandmother's reincarnated because she promised my mother she will return to my mother and 15 days after her death my mother got pregnant and I was born.During this time my mother used to dream many times where she would tell her wait a few days I am coming, then I was born and my face, behavior, speech, likes and dislikes were all like hers. The only difference between us is that I'm not as fair as she is, I treat them like she used to when she was alive. The most amazing thing is that she was a lawyer's daughter and she had a dream to become a lawyer herself but she could not study but I also had a dream to become a lawyer and I became that.I don't know how correct their beliefs are but I don't remember anything from my past

My younger sister used to tell this story that she was a teacher and her name was "something Bano". Now I don't remember what was the first name. She also said that there were riots happening between Hindus and Muslims in Seelampur. She was running away from goons. She said she tried to climb a wall, but couldn't and they hit her with a knife. After that she reached our home (she said).
Throughout her childhood, she never allowed us to click her picture.she said it will shoot bullet.
(She knew how to make burka out of a duppata. She will wear a burka and beat kids (her dolls) while acting like a teacher. We are hindus and no one knew how she learnt creating burka out of a duppata. (Hijaab Or burka...). Her way of washing her hands was also different.
Also, it wasn't TV or internet those days. We were living in a locality that had only hindus Or Sikh families.
Family stopped talking about these incidences, and eventually she forgot.
When she was 15 years old Or something, it was her birthday... While cutting cake, my brother shown her a knife. Jokingly.... (Peechhe ho ja... Cake nahi milega type joke)....
AND she cried and hauled. We were shocked.... She was inconsolable that time. It reminded us that what she used to tell when she was a kid.

Hare Krishna Prabhuji! I can relate to such case as i myself used to speak about my previous life in my early part of childhood. My mother tells us what i used to tell about my house etc in previous life. But people suggeated that our family should not encourage such talks and that's how the previous memory got erased soon.

Hare Krishna! I also have witnessed this kind of reincarnation thing in my neighbourhood. My close friend's younger brother was a child who used to behave like an old man and talk very effectively. Never liked to play or talk much. He used to tell very sophisticated things about Hindu culture and other things, calling himself our uncle.

Hare Krishna! I totally agree with your logic that we don't remember our previous birth because then we will not be able to lead our present life peacefully. But, I have a doubt- because we don't remember the mistakes we have committed for which we also face the consequences, how would our soul grow and improve?
Usually even if we know the past mistakes may same mistake we will not repeat but other mistakes we will do due to we have sinful propensity of our heart. So it will not very helpful to know past. Rather than in any situation if we do bhakti it can purify us completely and eradicate all suffering.

So that time Lord Krishna says my position is constant I will not change the body but you Arjuna changed many bodies so you cannot the past life. Karma and rebirth are not belief systems. It is real for all. Even in the US Christian family it has happened.

@@vladedarkel5445 , that is moksha, If the cycle ends. Rebirth will end if all the energy exchanges are resolved and if there is no debt (not just money rather it could be anything - huge favor that you took but did not return or you took away something/ someone from someone) or unfulfilled Desires in life. There are spiritual paths, yoga, Sadhana and Kriyas to end the cycle too. All of us desire for things that lasts for few years max but if that desires are very strong during the last phase of your life and during death , that will result in rebirth. There is a limit for number of rebirths and the age of death. People who die young or suddenly (like an accident) usually are reborn because of unfulfilled desires. There are books written on it ; I just summarized as best as I could.
