Why some white and some black ? How many front line pieces do they have, Pumpers Ladders ... ?
I honestly don't know why they have some black and some white. They have 5 engine companies, 2 ladder companies , 1 rescue, 2 hazmat units, 1 cascade support unit, 4 ambulances and one ems car.
Nice to meet you and arman in person
Thanks and a pleasure to meet you aswell.
That's awesome. I went to one today and got in a full water fight while on the nozzle. It is awesome that I have a dad with so many connections making me able to do things like this before I even turn 16.
Sounds great dude! You got Discord?

One of the best traditions' in the fire service!!!
Forward facing blue lights aren't allowed on emergency vehicles in New York state, only on volunteer POVs.
@@joesmith332 well tell that to most of the departments in Nassau County, we aren’t the only ones with forward facing blue lights. It’s a common thing, nobody has stopped any of the departments with them so far.
N.Y. Comp. Codes R. & Regs. Tit. 15 § 44.4 - Blue and green lights…joesmith is correct as this code states that the blue lights are rear facing only (police, fire EMS) and does specify that volunteers are authorized blue and/or green lights as well as long as they are signed off by their Chief. Whether or not this is enforced should have been discussed before the lights were installed on the apparatus. I’m in OH and we have a department that got a used truck that has one flashing blue light lens on the rear and probably the only one in state of OH with one as Oh revised code does not allow blue lights on fire apparatus or volunteer POVs (red/clear or amber only).
@@luicalibre6665 wasn’t saying he was wrong, just saying that many departments have those lights.
many nassau p.d.s and the county it self has blue to the front
There is an amendment to that VTL that was passed in the state assembly within the last year that allows for blue to the front for all agencies in NY.
Amazing footage
Thanks!
Nice seeing you there!
Thank you!
What a hill belly function and a waste of resources? Act like you've got a new truck before.
"hill belly"?? And also it's one rare opportunity for the guys to have fun, ruining it for them is what you people do I guess.
