Great stuff. Am listening to this multiple times so it really sinks in.
Unfortunately, fellow family members letting the dogs in and out of the house all day long in winter blows out my air infiltration rate.
Thanks Joe! Your generosity in sharing your deep knowledge throughout Building Science’s multiple in-line outlets makes you a true national treasure in my book.

Outstanding summary! Every builder and HVAC contractor in the country should be made to watch this video... three times.

Why not run a tube into the fireplace?
Edit: Hell you could even supercharge it with compressed air. Now THAT would be romantic!

Thank you Joe! Finally some sanity. This current idiotic fashion of super-tight homes is insane, especially when entombing occupants in offgassing foams. To provide healthy air quality, you need expensive, complicated HVAC systems that need to be properly designed, installed and most-importantly, maintained. If any one isn't done properly, you're effectively gassing the occupants. I'd much rather have a reasonably priced 3ACH home that uses non-toxic materials (no foam/carpet/OSB).
Joe, please get your daughter to talk about this, as well as clueing-in Bazcek/Risinger/Maines and all the rest who hype this nonsense.
