@@billul1 I don't think so. The city from "We" is very different from Orwell's designs. First one is based on maths and sciences, they were building a space ship to peacefully research the universe named "Integral" and were able to satisfy peoples' every biological need. That society has chances to be good in the world portrayed by Zamyatin, considering what rebels did to it in the end (I personally thought that these rebels were the bad guys when reading). The people of the glass city were not badly repressed judging from what I've read. This is the opposite from Orwell's society, the only goal of which is war. What's the book's name
To be actually accurate, B.F. Skinner was a behavioral psychologist who advanced the idea of Behavioralism. In psychological terms, it means that when someone is met with a bad consequence, they won't do said thing, and when met with a good consequence, they will probably do it again. Idea being, all future actions are based off the consequences of the previous. This is where his rejection of free will comes into being - that since all behavior is influenced by prior events, then you can't actually be free. It's basically just determinism, but instead of physics terms it's in psychological terms.
This is all to say that to paint the guy as being some authoritarian loony is to be massively reductive. I don't agree with him, but he widely wanted good for humanity as a whole.
