William Gibson, father of cyberpunk, best known for his breakout novel, 1984's Neuromancer, explored how technology and cybernetics in the distant future could change humanity in his work. He was also known for inserting noir/mystery themes into high-tech stories, which led his characters to be 'punks' of sorts, searching for a way to disrupt a colossally corrupt system of technology.
I remember playing this as a kid and I remember not knowing WHAT to do. I would get stuck perpetually in the beginning bar and I would give up and quit. There were no guides to find online either.
Esalen massage originated in California as a relaxation massage, and it is typically administered outside, basing the massage on the rhythmic movements of the ocean.
Emerson, a founding father of American letters, who famously declared that “every hero becomes a bore at last,” would perhaps not be too surprised to learn that even some of his modern-day admirers occasionally find him boring, too.

A grue is a fictional predator from the Zork series of interactive fiction games by Infocom. The word grue was first used in modern times as a fictional predator from Jack Vance's "Dying Earth" universe. Vance probably took the name from an archaic/dialectal English verb derived from a Scandinavian word meaning "to feel horror, shudder" (OED), now most commonly encountered in the word "gruesome". Dave Lebling introduced a similar monster, whose name was borrowed from Vance's grues, into the interactive fiction computer game "Zork". "Zork's" grues fear light and are ravenous devourers of adventurers, making it impossible to explore the game's dark areas without a light source. Due to "Zork's" prominent position in hacker history and lore, its grues have served as models for monsters in many subsequent games, such as roguelike games and MUDs.
Axolotls should not be confused with waterdogs, the larval stage of the closely related tiger salamanders (A. tigrinum and A. mavortium), which are widespread in much of North America and occasionally become neotenic. Neither should they be confused with mudpuppies (Necturus spp.), fully aquatic salamanders from a different family that are not closely related to the axolotl but bear a superficial resemblance.
Tanna leaves are fictional and are a reference to the 1940 film, The Mummy’s Hand. Tanna leaves were used along with the Scroll of Thoth to summon Anubis. The Emir referred to the tanna leaves as “sacred.” Their origin is unknown but Coyote had to leave the Sphinx to get them. The leaves gave Hyena hay fever.
