Welcome to Mario Kart Wii’s ranked competitive ladder. 12 players of similar skill are matched up against each other and choose between a solo or team event. Depending on how many points you score as a team will decide on how much mmr and lr you’ll gain or lose. My goal is rank 1 by the end of the season so I have the highest possible seed in the final tournament of the season. Also, I try to stream every single one of these events on my twitch.
I'm starting to get into MKWii more after watching your videos. I'm just a fan of the whole series, but for some reason, I never really played this game when it was first released. I think I was just satisfied with MKDS. I'm decent and semi competitive at MK8DX, but this is a completely different beast. The driving alone is going to take a lot of getting used to. I never had this issue going from MKDS to MK7 to MK8 to MK8DX, or even going back to older games in the series. MK64 drives almost identically to MKDS, but MKDS fixed a lot of issues MK64 has. MKWii is the only game in the series like this, and it has stood the test of time.

Is there a good Samaritan who can tell me how to play ranked like frozen? I have the original Mario kart and I play online with wimmfi, do they use the same thing or is with a diff version such as revolution or deluxe?
