I worked nights in my youth in the morning when I got off the train I would get off and stop at this old man bar. I learned more about life in that bar from those old man than I did in 6 years college. Those old guys gave me my first combo and I've been fishing ever since. Thank god for people like Daryl that are willing to share their their knowledge

The difference in home raised chickens are not only the antibiotics but the breed . Cornish Cross chickens can be ordered from a hatchery and are a cross of breeds that can't reproduce . They grow up to 10 lbs in a few weeks

When I look through my subscriber feed. I usually browse through all of the new uploads and determine which quick videos I should watch first before diving into a longer one or saving a good uploaders video till the end or something like that. Not today, I saw the thumbnail and didn’t even need to read the title before I clicked on this video. This is must see ASAP. I am glad you three were able to sit back down and do another round.

You guys have to check out white meat chickens.. they have white meat turkeys.. we have them and they grow crazy fast. They are free range so they are able to waddle not walk. But no hormones or anything added but layer feed

Speaking of possibly problematic alligators, I know where one is that needs to be relocated. It's in a creek called Bayou Sara in Mobile, Al where a lot of people swim and fish and have houses right on the creek. I saw it last year in the early summer and i'm not exaggerating when I say that this alligator is at least 13ft long, it's massive. I was fishing in my kayak and it crossed the creek about 50ft in front of me and it wasn't scared of me at all, I haven't been back there in a kayak since. That thing's gonna hurt someone or a pet one day, it's right next to a lot of peoples homes and most of them don't know it's there.

Cornish cross chicekns my guy. They are set meat birds. Tractor supply sells them yearly. They are meant to grow and mature quicker than other breeds
Y’all should go to the cape cod canal in Massachusetts because you can catch 60-70 lbs striper sometimes you need like an 8000 size reel and a surf caster let me now if you guy come up

In Hong Kong snake is considered a delicacy. I'm pretty sure they extract the bile from the gallbladder and use it in alcohol as well as soup. Also Opposums are basically immune to Rabies and types of snake venom. But they have scent glands like raccoons and skunks.
One lure to save my life definitely a beetle spin I've caught everything from Catfish, Gills, Crappie, near PB sized largies, drum lol they get the multi species stamp of approval lol
Wish I could like the pod more than once I wish there was a way to rank witch one of your fans have listened to the podcasts more because between yalls, robs, and the banger pod I’ve watched all of them at least 3 times some of them way more than 10 times I put y’all on repeat while at work makes the day feel like I’m on the water

Man that’s one main reason why I am a huge supporter of the hunter safety corses. I went through it at a very young age and even though I knew basically everything they taught, not everyone would. Not everyone grows up huntin and shootin guns and fishin and all that. Not everyone learns simple safety. Not everyone has it beat into their heads their whole life. I don’t think you should be able to get a hunting license without proof of a hunters safety corse. As bad as I hate to say that because it comes so close to being against everything I believe in BUT I do think it is needed. Especially with all these people that just decide they want to go hunt one day at age 32 and never have even held a gun. And before you say it’s all common sense, remember, common sense to you and I may not be that of others.
It definitely isn’t common sense for everyone. I watch several channels that play the 911 calls and it’s amazing how many accidental shootings there are from stupid mistakes that could easily have been prevented with that we think is common sense. I think you do have to have hunters Ed in Texas if I’m not mistaken.

Yes DEER!! Here in NC I can fix a deer roast that people swear is PRIME beef!!! Just don’t let it sit out too long because the meat will dry out in front of your eyes!! and make sure the suet is GOOD, not full of scraps!! And if you do this, NO Yankee will know the difference!! You go Daryll! You make me miss country living sooo much!!!

My cousin lived off grid. He raised a specific breed of chicken that grew so quick it could not walk and he grew them from eggs nothing but the natural growth.
I loved this one! I live in NW Florida, so I know all of these places. I also grew up hunting and fishing in the 80's and 90's...what he said about hunting in NW Florida was 100% true. I actually had relatives work the "concentration" camps in Eglin where Vietnamese refugees were housed. We used to have a huge Vietnamese and Filipino population due to all the refugee camps the military would set up. Ironically, we never got Cambodians or Koreans. Speaking about oppossums, you know, the original word for opossum, in Cherokee, used to be "siqua." When Europeans introduced hogs to America, we changed over and started calling hogs "siqua." Ironically, Sequoyah (the man who developed the Cherokee written language we use today) means "pigs foot" because he got his foot maimed in a trap.
