Not only one on the best romantic comedies of all time, one of the best movies of all time! Absolutely 100% they go on to get married and live happily ever after!
I would love to hear more about the sequel scripts. Ed Zwick directed About Last Night and he is the co-creator of Thirty something and Once & Again. Two fantastic tv shows that include a lot of elements that made About Last Night a great film. Zwick and his partner Marshall Herskevitz should have written the sequel to Night. I bet it would have been something special.
So loved this movie. I went and saw it at the theatre when it came out with my girlfriend at the time who I was VERY much in love with at the time. UNFORTUNATELY our careers kept us from hooking up long term. The emotions in that packed theatre in Hinsdale, Illinois were real. Lots of tears flowed during the breakup scenes. I loved the script, the 4 major actors were PERFECTLY casted. Rob and Demi were BELIEVABLE. Both were still fresh to the screen so that helped sell the believability standpoint which helped vs later in they're careers. I loved this flick and NEVER tired of watching it many more times. Demi was GORGEOUS in this movie especially the naked kitchen scene 😋
The "chemistry" was humor, flirting, sex, arguments, lying, suspicion, jealousy, apologies, influence of others around you, etc., etc.: I agree with you. Brought back and exposed to me ways I have mistreated people, so I watched it several times.
G’day from Down Under, I’m not from Chicago and I don’t appear in the film but I can honestly say that “About Last Night” is one of the greatest romantic comedies of all-time. The film is well written, the entire cast is a delight and the soundtrack is wonderful. You scored a real winner when you starred in that film Rob! Stay Gold, Australia's Retro Man.
Out of all the awesome brat pack films released during the 80s hands down, About Last Night is me absolute fav. The casting, the writing and the music all 10. Thx for sharing your thoughts on Debbie and Danny, Rob. The thought of D&D living hea made me smile today. As for revisiting where D&D are in 2024, make it happen!
My husband and I watched the movie About Last Night and it was such a great movie. We were both impressed with Demi and you and your acting ability. My husband had a great suggestion that he phoned into you on the number at the end of this video. He thought if you couldn't do a sequel, why don't you and Demi do a cameo in another romantic comedy where the main character(s) of the movie run into you and Demi somewhere like a restaurant or in a park and the main character of the movie addresses you as Danny and you introduce your wife Debbie who is off camera but is shown when you tell the person I would like you to introduce my wife Debbie. People would be shocked to see the beautiful Demi Moore standing there. Maybe you two are in a park playing with your grandchildren. It would be interesting as people would wonder why Rob Lowe and Demi Moore did a short cameo in the movie and it would get people talking once they realize it was to show fans of the movie About Last Night that Danny and Debbie are still together 38 years later and still as gorgeous as back then. I think it would be such a cool twist and the media would love it. You and Demi could tell the media you did it to get people thinking and it was a great concept to answer people's curiosity if Danny and Debbie got married. Personally, I agree with you that they would be together to this day as you could tell they loved each other in the movie and would not separate again.
Great movie - always loved it. I’ve used one of Belushi’s lines a few times in real life however….. “ where did you develop your personality? In a car crash?“ 😂
Great movie, so relatable and def one that is so true to life when young couples fall in love and move in together soon after to find out one needs more space but then realizes the true love he lost and comes back into his life.
Outstanding movie and great chemistry between the leads. The reality of relationships. They don't make them like this classic anymore. Yes l believe they were destined to be together.
The best relationship film ever made, but never saw it as a romantic 'comedy'. Has some laughs in it but it's mostly a couple goals examination at the highest level.
When I ever I watch "About Last Night" i keep confusing Elizabeth Perkins with Joan Cusack (the fact that her character's name is Joan doesn't help matters either)

Wow I know Mr Maxwell Morgan . I met him at a conference in carlifornia 2019 where he introduced us his business strategy, he helped me cover my student loans
I also trade with Mr Maxwell Morgan , and i must say he makes money making seem a whole lot easier right now I'm a single parent and i pay the bills comfortably since i met Maxwell Morgan he's absolutely amazing and I'd recommend him for any novice in crypto.

Loved that movie back in the day. Seemed real emotions wise.

Acho que até uma sequência, agora com os dois seria maravilhoso!

Hello from Nairobi, Kenya. Love Rob Lowe in the 911 series and Kimmel's Handsome Men's Club.
Great movie, so relatable and def one that is so true to life when young couples fall in love and move in together soon after to find out one needs more space but then realizes the true love he lost and comes back into his life.
One of my favorites, one of the best movies and soundtracks!
About Last Night AND St Elmo's Fire are my 2 favourite brat pack movies and I would LOVE sequels from them BOTH!!!! 😊
They definitely got back together and got married but sadly divorced in 2003.
Outstanding movie and great chemistry between the leads. The reality of relationships. They don't make them like this classic anymore. Yes l believe they were destined to be together.
i. agree. great movie, it brings me back too my. youth
The best relationship film ever made, but never saw it as a romantic 'comedy'. Has some laughs in it but it's mostly a couple goals examination at the highest level.
Agreed. Best romantic comedy!!!! Enjoyed so much 30 years ago... they need to make a movie like this.
Me too Dan and Deb did the long haul
I need another movie with Demi and Rob❤
Eles formam o casal mais lindo que eu vi no cinema.

Belushi is right, he is to good looking
Great romantic comedy....but Jim Belushi was the standout with his one-liners.
When I ever I watch "About Last Night" i keep confusing Elizabeth Perkins with Joan Cusack (the fact that her character's name is Joan doesn't help matters either)
for sure it was a great movie.
I was in a movie called Unicorn Revolution evolution series and played Princess Pareey roles and I need a root beer candy.
I would LOVE a sequel! But only if you also get Bernie and Joan. Snd i wanted THEM to get together

There are platform where you can invest and they trade your money. Then pay you profit either weekly or monthly. That's investing.
