Bria is, as usual, great. An additional pleasant surprise for me was the excellent and original solo from the alto player, whom I'd never heard previously.

I really admire Bria Skonberg especially when she played with Hal Smiths International Sextet, now there's a red hot outfit that alas is no more. These Guys are just so smooth with a great Alto player and solid support from all involved.I'd really like to hear them really let loose, I think it would be awesome. It is no easy thing setting up a band, booking gigs, travelling, seeing everyone gets paid...oh yeah, and rehearsing and performing.

It's a little unnerving to see Louis Armstrong in this suit. Sounds great, just gotta keep that lazy rhythm section swinging and away from the slop of pop. It seems they all want to go there.

I can still hear the melody when improvisation is going on...that is the mark of a true Jazzer...!
Nice, but the vocals were completely washed out in the recording. Good players though.
