Years later this still gives me chills. I would do anything to have the old Pistons team with Chauncey, Rasheed, etc. back. These new guys aren't nearly as fun to watch.
Bec they all soft... bec with no success they get allot off money... what the point to improve... U imagine MJ play for like 3 mln dolar in his F prime... Now a F rokie get more and complaine with no skill what so ever
@@m0ntezz007sad but true. Watching this video again reminds me how this team used to have pride, winning and defense and effort and putting on that jersey actually meant something. Something that has been lost with this franchise the past decade and a half. What a joke this team has become. Maybe one day we’ll see something like the old pistons again but at this point it feels like a pipe dream.
Legendary starting five that took down an All Star Lakers. These guys were a true team and defensive powerhouse. Definitely lived up to the name PISTONS.
+Brendan Harrah I'm a diedhard Sonics/Celtics fan (the latter is a long story, I'm from Washington tho), and I gotta admit Mason is the best I've ever seen.
"DETROIT BASKETBALL!" This crew made us all proud to be a Detroiter. Back then, even Suburbanites we're acting like they were detroiters. Those were the days🏀
I still remember these intros from when I was a kid, had never even been to Michigan at the time but loved this team - now I live in Detroit and would love to get back to these days
You can't help but get chills when Chauncey Billups takes the sledgehammer to the brick wall emblazoned with the opposing team's logo. Totally bad ass.
Yeeessssss Siiiiirrrrr Man I loved this team, I was on the edge of my seat, and pissed we they lost some games, I can't wait to we get back to this Caliper, and I want it like this, no Big Superstars, a Team
Came to look to see my all time favorite announcing of "Ba-Ba-Ba-BILLUPS! I used to Love hearing that announcement! Had to show my mom now that Chauncey Billups is a head coach! Memories.. I was 14 during this NBA finals 😮
i think it is one of the better teams in recent years just because they didnt have a true star. They were the most unselfish team in the league, they didnt have a guy who needed to drop 30 a night, and they were all great defenders. If the 2011-2012 Heat played the 2004 Pistons I would put my money on Detroit because of how balanced they were, and the bench was pretty decent too.

Compared to America and the USA, this city was poor and automotive businesses were collapsing, and this team had a stadium full of spectators for years. It was a legendary team and one of the best in history. The best team when it comes to defense. They broke all records!!! Ben Wallace was one of the many reasons why this happened...
That Ben Wallace gong still sends shivers up my spine, cause you knew that you were gonna have to be willing to die to beat him
Same. Goosebumps.
same here. my favourite Piston of all time
I looked up this video just for that reason

Damn. Now try 16:(
If i could travel back in time, i know exactly where im going first.
Really missing the "Going to Work" Pistons right about now
They were a blue-collar team that represented the blue-collar state. That's why we loved them so.
its nothing like this anymore. I had the hugest smile on my face when they did this as a kid . When i go know i legit have the straightest face.

I still get hype watching these intros. Those days were too much fun.
There never was, or never will be, another pre-game intro that will compare to this. I miss these days
This is Legendary. Shows us why millions of kid dream to play in the NBA.
The pistons had the most badass arena sounds. I love that fucking gong

The 6'3 Chaunceeeeeeeey B B B B!!!!
this is the one of the dangerous line-ups to be ever assembled in the NBA
Wallace's introduction is the best one, I've ever watched. Ben Wallace is damn cool!!!
Always gives me chills
the best intro for a team of all time, the only thing that ruined the video was it being broadcasted on upn :/

One of the best team ever. Big Ben,Sheed, Billups, Rip, and prince.
God... I must say, that the '04 Pistons are probably one of the best teams to every grace the NBA.
They damn near swept the Lakers with prime Shaq and Kobe. They beat them in double digits in 3 of 4 games. The Lakers only got 1 game against them
One of the best intro
