Let me know how this worked out for you. Your feedback goes a long way towards making these videos better!
Thank you for the video!
THANK YOU! There was an insane amount of free play on my Z125 pro clutch. Found this video through the Z125 owners forum, and it's just what I needed. It's my 3rd bike, but the first one that I'm really taking a complete DIY approach to (my others have everything taken care of at annual service), and your posts and videos are an absolute wealth of knowledge.
3:12 I dont think you understand how many videos, google searches, etc Ive watched to get this info. NOBODY EVER GIVES THIS CRUCIAL INFO!!! THANK YOU
Thanks! This setup more closely match mine on my Ninja 500R. So it made adjusting mine much easier! +1 Sub!!
How about a quick video on how to tell how worn your clutch is, based on where the clutch fully engages (in cable travel)? Thx
Brad, thanks for this tutorial.
QUESTION: Awhile back I adjusted the lever's freeplay, and now I'm realizing that when I try to go from 1st to N, it skips to 2nd gear instead - so, increase or decrease the free play on my awesome 2018 Kawi Ninja 400?
NEW SUB!
Thanks for that....
Question I just changed my levers now it won’t shift. But I can roll it and will shift wit out clutch
Ya to deadly bro
Thanks for the help
My lever is too tight. So lever first then by the engine adjustment correct?
So I have short levers, on longest setting, free play is good but I like shifting with two fingers instead of four. The problem is when I two finger shift, the gear doesn’t completely engage/disengage. Mainly because I have short fingers. Is their a way to fine tune adjust when the clutch actually will engage/disengage?
Did you ever figure this out?
@@CM-ct9gp unfortunately not
Okay so if you want it to engage early go for the 4mm part of the range. If you want it to go for end of the range go for the 2mm. General recommendation is 2-4mm. My FZ is kinda a pain I like instant clutch but lose neutral w 4mm setting. The best clutch seems to be 2mm but I hate that only at the endrange setting. I find myself falling over while I let out the clutch and nothing is happening lol. Muscle memory.

My clutch isn’t catching, as soon as the lever is squeezed the cable pulls forward but resets almost immediately. Help me with this?
Replace bike
