The most expensive thing after buying a new truck is all the "stuff" you buy for it to make it your own. Nice looking upgrades.
👍🏻👍🏻
Your engineering skills are so impressive. That thin box you hooked up to work your new bed lights and cooler is so perfect. Thanks for the great videos.
Thank you👍🏻
Tasteful and functional mods. Looks awesome Mister Outdoors !
lol👍🏻👍🏻
Hey Brian! I'm impressed with the mods you did on your truck. The truck looks rad! Very nice!
Thanks bud👍🏻
New 250 owner. Great insight. Already saving me money!!
👍🏻👍🏻
Looks awesome, love the upgrades!!!
😎👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks bud👍🏻
Beautiful truck you did a great job setting it up for your needs. Congratulations hope it gives you great service. Built Ford Tough!!
Thanks!
Nice upgrades! The truck is looking good!
Thanks!
The best part about a stock antenna is that it hits before the top of the cab. Great for those times when clearance is an issue.
👍🏻👍🏻
Those tires look awesome! Nice setup!
Thanks👍🏻
I love the way the truck looks! I am looking into a gas F250. Can't wait for the updates on the towing numbers.
Thanks👍🏻👍🏻
Truck looks great, man. Every mod looks tastefully done
Thanks bud👍🏻
Looking good Brian! Really like the bed cover and the small battery bank, molle panel, and bed lights!
Gonna have to check those out since I’m looking to pick up a midsize pick-up.
Thanks👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks for sharing, Ill likely purchase a couple of these suggestions for my 2023 150
👍🏻👍🏻
Nice job on the truck Brian.
Thanks bud👍🏻
Heyy Brian the truck looks amazing, great job it's good when you can help yourself, thanks for sharing stay safe
Thank you😀
Nice truck, you’re definitely blessed with some cool man toys.
👍🏻👍🏻
Tasteful mods and really nice truck.
Thank you 👍🏻
Looks good. I really hadn’t noticed the valence on mine till I watched this. Going to have to swap that now
👍🏻👍🏻
hey brian, really like that tonneau cover, molle panel, and juicego setup, I might start with the cover first. Ive got an ol ford,2012 but shes straight and clean. recently upped the tires. Also dig that little ballpoint mount, thats great for that small unused dash area😎🤙
👍🏻👍🏻
Great video Brian. I have a 2023 F250 I just purchased for my outdoor adventures. Looking forward to fixing it up a little, and maybe heading your way when you and Gumbie make the annual gathering event announcement.
Sounds awesome!
Thanks for the video
👍🏻👍🏻
A lot of nice upgrades. All very useful. I enjoy all of your videos. Keep them coming. Thanks again. Jake McClellan The Oregon Boy 😊
Thanks Jake👍🏻👍🏻
Nice truck with some good mods. Your towing experience is going from decent to great. Half tons may be rated for certain trailers but they just don’t have enough mass and power.
👍🏻👍🏻
Excellent video, you sound like me with your past experiences on certain products like tonneau covers. I’ve owned almost every one now I’m gonna look at the one you bought for $280. I have a 24 F-250 in Rapid red and you modified your truck the same way I’d like to. No big lifts or tires, I think these trucks look amazing in stock form with just subtle mods
Thank you👍🏻👍🏻
All but ready to go! Updated to travel!
👍🏻👍🏻
Awesome video
👍🏻👍🏻
My wife was in the room while I watched this video. She thought you were saying “foreskin” over and over. LMAO. Truck looks amazing
lol…..I can see how it sounded like that😂
Ok, let’s take a moment to talk about 4skin 😂😅
I have the same airbags and they work great! Love the remote vs manual
Lolol. 👍🏻👍🏻
Its been raining for 2 months. I have basically the same spec in camper . Even though your gas you should see a big difference compared to the 3.5 150 as far as hauling. Air bags might be over kill but I guess will help when you get the 5th wheel
👍🏻👍🏻
Some nice, functional mods you've added, and the truck looks good 👍. Would love to have an F250, but don't want the payments. Builtright Industries does quality work, and I recently installed two of their panels in the rear galley bulkhead of my Hiker Trailer, and might order an additional one. Also have had their rear seat release latch in my 2018 F150 for quite awhile.
👍🏻👍🏻
Very nice truck!! 😳👍🇺🇸
Thank you👍🏻
Nice video! What LEDs did you use for replacing the taillight halogens?
My dream truck! Subscribed.
Thanks!👍🏻👍🏻
Nice!
👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you for sharing....you are a artist....nice job thinking about getting same truck same color...is this gas or diesel...
Thanks👍🏻
Nice additions and a awesome looking truck, congrats. Unrelated, what it in front of your garage door?
Thanks👍🏻 it’s my old bed platform I used in my old truck.
The best cheap mod I did to mine was F150 brackets for the steps. eBay for the win. 99$.
Your trucks looking good brother, my wife says I have to stop watching your channel because every time the UPS guy drops off a package she says ‘It’s Brian isn’t it” LOL So I’ll just have to get a P.O. Box 😂😂 just kidding. Looking forward to your first tow camping video.
lol. Glad I can help sir😂👍🏻
great video and info. I like a lot of the mods you have done. Similar to my truck. One note with the tires is as they wear out they will make noise. I did the chalk method and air them down to keep the tread level. The ride will be better and they will last longer. I had 295 65 r20's and not that it is a big deal but the difference is noted also on the actual MPG as well as odometer when you sell the truck. I have since switched to a Carli 3" level, 37's and bags and went to 5 star for tune and Speedo and shift adjustments on my 7.3. Subscribed
👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks for the video. I ordered several items from your list. I appreciate you doing the research. Unfortunately the rear seat bench protector was no longer available. I like the looks of your tremor valance, but TL truck was able to show the larger valance helped with fuel mileage. Around town it's not a big deal, but on cross country trips it might make a difference. You going to add a transceiver to your truck, ie.. GMRS,HAM,CB etc...? just wondering about radio placement and antenna placement as the body of the truck is aluminum. Have a great summer!!!!
Thanks👍🏻 I’m thinking about the radio but not sure which way I want to go yet.
Need a link for the tow hook shackles.
Sweet truck. Quick question have you thought about using the tpms or camera setup to see it through the truck information center
Not sure I follow you? I can view my TPMS and camera through my screen
@@BrianWatersOutdoors I just thought you talked about a separate screen for you back up camera on the trailer, and tire minder screen for your tpms. I pretty sure the new trucks you can get a camera and tpms that likes directly into the truck main screens
Nice!
What's up with the ridged tool boxes? Are there tools in em?
My favorite was that molle tie-down and the bought rv thing.
Thanks. I keep tools, sockets, and other misc things in there I use for the RV.
@@BrianWatersOutdoors I guess that's allowed. Lol
Looks Great 👍
Thanks👍🏻
Thanks for sharing. Is there a reason you did not choose the Tremor option ?
Didn’t want to spend the extra $5000 Ford wanted for that package
Great mods, how do you charge ur juicego? Do u take it out, or is it plugged in to the truck.
I have a small 80watt solar panel I’ll lay on top of the tonneau cover and charge it up if needed
Awesome video Brian. Maybe I missed it, but how do you recharge that Juice-Go box? You wired it to truck battery to charge?
Btw, you were talking about changing tires for speedometer. You can use forescan to change tire size. You shouldn’t have to worry about shift points, etc. I think in forescan you can even reset the transmission LEARN procedure.
I carry a small 80watt solar panel I’ll lay on top of my tonneau cover. I could also charge it up in just a few hours with my 12v cigarette output inside the truck too if needed👍🏻
Dude, Antenna, broke my stock mount in a auto car wash 2 months in, but a 1980's rubber dong antenna?LOL, Put a 50 cal. topper or cactus up there, someting, So many choices? Cooper Discover AT 3 XLT 35 x 12 x 20 tires will fit on stock rims no problem, Make sure you have them load balanced, Super quiet, so far I've got over 51,000 on them so far and they are American Made! I run Cooper tires on ever vehicle in my 8 vehicle fleet and love them. Bed Carpet & the Tool boxes in the front of the box?, Sorry even my Wife said why would you do that to a truck? Come on man!? Do you work that truck or commute in it? I do like the bed lights, but you can wire them into the stock 12 volt harness connection for the stock lights, electric
👍🏻
Brian. Larry from OK. So you did not explain the For Scan you used on your 250. What do you need to get the app to work. Is there an adapter you need to purchase. And how do you get it to work.
There’s a million better RUclips videos out there that can explain it better than I can. It’s forscan.org, you need to apply for a license and then buy an OBDII dongle to plug into your computer and the OBD port in your truck under your steering wheel. From there you can eventually change a lot of the programmed Ford settings that come on their trucks.
I think that you should have towed your trailer at least once before you changed the suspension and tire size, just for a baseline comparison. Nice truck.
👍🏻
Do you have the part number with ford for the valence?
Right on rocket science by Ford only giving us three blinks lol 100% need five
👍🏻👍🏻
I’ve heard those ready lift spacers roughen the ride a bit over stock. Have you experienced that?
I haven’t noticed. But it’s only 1.5”. Any higher than that and you’d feel a little more I’m sure
How did the leveling kit affect the ride?
I have t noticed much difference at all. Probably would with a 2.5” leveling kit though.
Any difference in mpg after changing the front air valance?
I can’t tell. But honestly don’t care about mpg. She’s a 7.3l gas v8, so MPG is going to be terrible no matter what.
did you turn off the door chime also? or did i just not notice it.
I did…forgot to mention that. And I turned off the black box you get when you turn on the rear view camera
Going from 265/65/20 to a 295/65/20 the tire is taller? Seems it would be the exact same height just wider. Nice truck brotha!
I gained 1” of height. OEM tires were 34”, these are a hair over 35”
265 and 295 are how wide the tire is millimeters. 65 is the percentage of the width that gives you the height of the tire. If the first number increases and the second number stays the same, then the tire will be taller.
Hey brother, if I missed it I'm sorry, just wondering on the Toms sensors and magnet?!
Tom’s sensors?
@@BrianWatersOutdoors tpms my apologies 🤣
I love everything you have done except the level kit. Trucks are made lower in the so when you tow something it levels the truck out. By leveling the truck you now raise the front end to high and turning you low beams to a high beam. If you get people flashing the high beams at you, you will now know why happen, because you leveled your truck.
Thanks👍🏻 but, the truck is still not “level”. You need 2.5” to level an F250 and this is only a 1.5” level. Also, that’s one of the reasons input the rear air bags in so I can increase the PSI when towing to keep the rear from sagging.
Bed rugs get moldy and I know it says it won’t but they all do.
Where is the hidden storage bin for your pocket gadgets?
It’s a secret😂
I ended up having to get rid of my forescan. Just felt like there was too much extra in my life.
😂👍🏻
Upgrades
👍🏻
Dude, put an audio system in it dude....THEN drive to Long Beach Ca, (listening to your system) & go to CJC suspensions AND put a CARLI suspension lift on the rig dude
Do it.....
👍🏻
Technically 285 is the widest that you are supposed to go on an 8" wide wheel (manufacturer's specs).
👍🏻
Carpeted bed ? You need an suv man haha
Nice mods! You’re never done with mods 😂 No additional external lights or light bars? Bull bar? Winch?
Yeah, there will be some more lighting done. Just trying to find exactly what want
Doesn’t seem to be a lot of mounting options on that truck unless you add a bull bar. What I did on my Yukon was replace the stock fog lights with aftermarket LED lights, removed the front tow hooks and put LED fog lights in there, had to make my own mounts to do that. I looked at putting a light bar above the windshield but that’s more difficult to mount and wire and looks kind of ugly. So I added a light bar behind the grill and secured it with JB Weld in the foam that is there. You have that big emblem in the middle of the grill so might be a challenge.
Great video, lots of excellent well thought out mods, very helpful. Please do your channel viewers a favor and stop using the fisheye wide angle lens for your videos. The wife got sick to her stomach trying to watch along with me. Its very distracting and takes away from the excellent content.
👍🏻
4:45 your ok with being a mph off but will that excuse help with the police if caught speeding?😊 🚓👮♂️🤔. Looks great and ready for a flood 😃😎👍🇺🇲
👍🏻👍🏻
Solving problems that do not exist or problems you created.
Thanks👍🏻
What a waste of money, on a Ford on top of it. At least.your looking cool
Thanks for the tip👍🏻
Love how ford copied gm bed steps and bumper steps 🤣🤣🤣 ford fan boys talked trash when they came out
Bed steps bother you?? I could care less about them or who was “first”. Better things to do than worry about that
