It’s good they found him before freezing temps set in. He’s very lucky to be alive. Why people don’t wear simple GPS tracking is beyond me. It would work when a phone wouldn’t.
That's exactly what I thought is a picture of a guy in a hospital bed with his eyes covered with something light you would think yes you would think they would have explained that so if you find out the answer let me know
Please add on to this that there is another man still missing in the Canadian Rockies! They found his dog earlier this week injured emaciated and scared

I could not survive more than an hour and I am way out of shape and I am old. He had his age going for him. I wonder what he ate for all those 6 weeks? Berries, Insects? He should write a book now. But I am glad he is safe.😀❤
Why would he put himself into that situation, not very bright when you can’t remember the direction you cam from . He got lucky but he is stu..d as hell . Six weeks , he better thank his guardian Angel for keeping him alive.
Noticing a trend of younger generations greatly lacking common sense and this story is a perfect example of why you never go out into the wilderness unprepared. Lucky he is alive.
Gimme a break everybody commenting! Real news headline… Inexperienced young partygoer walks alone blindly in the forest. Gets lost and costs Canadian taxpayers 152 thousand in rescue missions. Charge him with stupidity and fine him for all costs to find him.
It’s a good thing that he’s an experienced hiker & I’m glad he was found.
If he was experienced he would not have gotten lost . There is more to this story than he is telling .

20 years old is not experienced
I wouldn't last 6 hours.
That’s cause you out of shape
@@tb5422 Yeah because everybody in good shape can survive in the wild.
Well, that's 5 hours longer than I'd last! 😂😂😂❤

I'm so relieved...😢

Glad you’re ok !
God, 6 weeks though??
Probably felt longer than 6 weeks for him. Good thing they found him before winter starts in full force.
No explanation on the eye covering?
Inside edition used to be good but now they leave you asking questions than you did before
Probably recovering from snowblindness
agree
Snow blindness, or just his eyes were weathered from the elements
They mention he got frostbite which can affect the eyes aswell, from that i just take it thats what is wrong with his eyes.
@@IreZico Probably a little bit of all of the above, frostbite Abrasive wind and it drying them out, and the damage from ultraviolet light reflecting off the white snow, Which is what causes snow blindness.

Thank god! Finally a happy ending
Glad he survived long enough to be found. I hope he has a fsst recovery.
The amazing thing about hiking and exploring in the woods is that you don’t have to do it!!
I am extremely glad he was found well
Glad he made it through his plight! What, may I ask, happened to his eyes?
That's exactly what I thought is a picture of a guy in a hospital bed with his eyes covered with something light you would think yes you would think they would have explained that so if you find out the answer let me know
They did mention he got frostbite and that can affect eyes aswell. Probably due to that.
Snow blindness probably
They also said smoke inhalation. Really could be a lot of things, he is probably very sick
Also the light in nature is very diffrent from that in the hospital, I wonder if the florescent lights were hurting his retenas.
Glad he was found.
Definitely going to make an "I Shouldn't be Alive" video and I'll be watching. Thank God he survived! 🙏
Wow he is a survivor
Glad he's alive
People who know the area have expressed skepticism ie "there's more to the story"
I think the only question people had when they clicked this video is “what happened to his eyes.” No answer.
yes, i am curious too. "What happened to his eyes?"
This happens a lot in Chechnya because of many mountains 😮
😢😢😢😢😢
Wow imagine the mountain lions tigers and bears he had to avoid that is pretty amazing this guy survived😮
“Tigers” 😂😂😂
Oh well thats not good at all but at least people found him and helped him get out of there
Wow. I am glad he was found alive 👍
Its good to hear a positive outcome for once.
Miracles do happens ... just very very rare.
Amazing. So glad he made it with God's help. 👏
He's lucky indeed. He should speak to others, about what he did right and wrong, It might save other lives.
Hes a savage for staying there foe 6 weeks dudes smart
Did they use a camera from 1990 to take his pics......?
What happened to his eyes??
That's what I wanna know
Snow blindness probably
Thanks God
Lots of animals out there?? How'd he get food?
Some survivor man type ish damn
Good he ok ❤
Something tells me that he's done hiking for a little bit.

Maybe a quick reason why he had bandages on his eyes would have been helpful.

What did he eat
This update has really messed up my view on RUclips.
Ya, same. The weird comment thing is annoying too
Is 6 weeks in standard or metric?
GOD BLESSED YOU!!!🙏🏻
What is it with people wanting to be way up in the woods?
