I get many questions about how I have gotten where I am. How do I make a living, and what was it like in the beginning? In this video I discuss everything from how I started, the struggles and the highlights of the road life. I also explained the focus of my time on the road. Traveling with a dog, battling Mother Nature, and getting hit by a car. This is the story of my life and a description of just how I got where I am today.

Harley, Honda, BMW.....doesn't matter - we're all living the dream on 2 wheels and should respect each other 🏍🏍
I agree
I’m on 4 though ( I ride quads )
If I could I would have all kinds of bikes Harley RKS Honda naked bike and a BMW gsa 1250 if money wasn't holding me back

I live only a mile away from work. So, I'm thinking of selling or trading in my car for a bike.
It aint what's written on the gas tank its what's proven out on the road.
Adam. You’re the man. I remember you coming into my family’s Dealer. I had no idea who you were. I just remember scooter running around like he owned the place. Haha. Thanks for all you do for motorcycling and honoring our veterans.
Matt Laidlaw I remember that at my dealer
Thanks Matt we sure do love to ride, And Yes I think Scooter has "claimed" (marked) more territory then most dogs.. lol Surly HD dealerships, Id say he feels at home around those bikes.
Matt Laid
two of my all-time harley-davidson heroes on one thread.. you two are each amazing ambassadors for motorcycling and Harley-Davidson THANK YOU Adam & Scooter!
Dig your channel, man. Good stuff!
Anybody else just thinking about how badass it is that his dog just hops in his backpack like that
I am a veteran of the U.S. Navy and I thank you for all you do for the veterans. My husband and I plan to visit every Harley Dealer. (We have visited 130 so far). After our youngest son passed away unexpectedly this year, we feel riding and being part of the Harley family has been truely healing. We also have meet so many wonderful people. We look forward to meeting you some day. May God contiune to bless you and the work you are doing.
Sorry to hear of the travesty & tragic event that occurred with your youngest!🙏
what is a harley dealer ?
@@leilawitherspoon503 A store clerk / entire store as a corporate person selling or dealing in harley davidson motorcycles and other branded products is commonly known as a harley dealer or harley dealership
Another Vet introduced me to you and sent me this video. You have a new subscriber.
much love and respect to you and Scooter ! ~ Keep it up Adam you're part of the community of motorcyclists that make it so awesome.
My grandpa lost his left leg in a motorcycle accident in 1979 and he is still riding to this day at the age of 65
You and Scooter are an inspiration, thank you for sharing your story and for helping raise money for Veterans, keep up the great work brother, god be with you in your travels. 🇺🇸
Your amazing Adam! I don't know how you don't have way more subscribers than you do. Your videos are awesome and your story is 1 in a million! Thanks for all you do!
Inspiring journey man. You said it best that most HD riders are more welcoming these days. I own a Ducati and Harley and have ridden both to HD events and never felt out of place. I understand the struggle of building a RUclips channel and brand. You just earned yourself one more sub!
Thank you so much!
Look at my site to see my log cabin in a bus
Just found your channel bud, watched this vid and I’ll start working my way through all your others.
Love it brother. I rode around the world, 74,000 miles through 54 countries in 442 Days, solo and unsupported, all on a crotch rocket (Suzuki GSX-R1000). Like you I sold absolutely everything and took that leap of faith to begin life on the road. It’s the greatest feeling in the world.
Wishing you nothing but the best brother, stay safe and keep living your life 🙏👍
teapotone you did it on a gsxr and that is crazy !! 😉 you guys are fantastic but crazy !!

For what???
Just goes to show it's the man, not the bike that makes the journey- you don't need a BMW to see the world.
Adam you & Scooter are an inspiration to a lot of people. We are a military family, & we appreciate you & what you do for our military families. I have read your book, (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐) and it's inspired me to ride my bike more & not let my health issues stop me. So I just wanted to say "Thank you".👍👏🌞God bless you both.
I keep reading coments like, "your living the dream" and i have to think, yes but it can't all be fun and games. i bet it's a lot harder than we can imagne. Just remember that you have a lot of people that respect and look up to you and that we are truly grateful for all you do for vets. Thank you, peace brother.
I sleep about 5 hrs a day keeping up with sharing the story online my friend.
Man....I am watching this saying WOW....and more WOW......Such an incredible story bro.
Adam. I am at a loss for words. SOO inspired by what you're doing/ have done! You're living the dream man! I would love to do it! Keep doing what you're doing. You ARE making a difference. You're being the change the rest of us talk about. Thank you man. Sincerely!
Thank You !!! I am Inspired, I feel a True Need to live my Life without excuses. Hearing your story only makes me more determine... Thank You Again !!
What a passionate mission and story. Good on you for living your dream and making a difference.
Adam you and Scooter are amazing. I read your book and the beginning was very heart wrenching for you but as you travel and begin to give to our service people the love you show is so gratifying and wonderful. I wish my husband and I were a few years younger so we could ride with you and Scooter but that will not happen but I love to follow you thru your adventures and I hope you continue to do what you love. God bless both you and Scooter and Ride On brother. ❤️❤️
I am a veteran and just want to say, thank you thank you for your love of our country, biker community and the sacrifices you have made helping Veterans! May God protect you on your journey!
Adam,
Thanks for sharing! I just started watching you. I’m a Vet and want to say THANK YOU! I will be getting your book off Amazon today. Thanks for your dedication and sacrifice to give back! You truly are an inspiration to us all! I hope you continue to follow you passion!
idk what we'd be as a society without people who aren't scared to do stuff like this by themselves. it's such a huge inspiration to everybody. papa bless
Awesome story Adam and Scooter, I sort of went thru same thing as you, I lived on the road driving a Big Truck, went on vacation on my motorcycle and a female talking on her phone turned into me, I lost my leg though, but I still ride, changed my life in a big way, I have been riding since early 70s...Peace
dam hopefully she was insured good etc...glad to hear youre still riding!
Glad your still riding bro!
Concentrate Corner; She was a older country lady and they had bare minimum insurance, I had a pretty good savings account but that lasted about a year, but I was stuck in BMF Mississippi for 9 months and 9 surgeries later I got released from my doctor, that is when the fun started, walking on a prosthetic, but I was so smart I got back on that old kickstart Shovelhead and rode it for another 10 years...haha, I have a newer bike now, all good.
Adam Sandoval Rides, Thank you, I will ride till I move on to the next life...be careful out there, it's all in the timing, life can change quick..
Ed Debevic God Bless Ed !
I think it`s wonderful what you have been doing. Great way to put real meaning into your life and others lives. Good luck in everything you do and stay safe.
Hell yeah brohter keep on ridin, love that your helping us service members not only bringing hapiness but also bringing hope to our every day lives. Thank you
HD needs to provide a position for you as a marketing consultant to get younger riders on board so the 125th Anniversary is as good as the 100th.
Pete 2810 too bad they don't care look at their black box promotion. They gave famous people bikes to keep but took back the ones they gave to normal people
Thats actually not true
Adam, much respect to you and Scooter from your Irish/Canadian followers.
Stay safe Sir.
Loved hearing your story. I am Air Force retired and appreciate what you did for the vets. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I’ve watched you for many many hours. You set a unselfish goal. Your motivation is sincere. Most importantly you are intelligent. You’re verbal skills and how you verbalize your story beautifully
Thank you. I appreciate you recognizing that, I try my best
Great book, easy reading and enjoyable. It felt like I was riding with you. Thank you for what you do.
You gotta be the only you tuber that I’ll actually watch the ads for keep helping them vets bro! Airborne All The Way!
thank you for that sir.
I have followed this journey with you since PCB Harley dealership, early on the ride. I have laughed, cried, prayed and cheered you on for the last 3 years. I look forward to year 4 and all the good that you are doing for our Veterans. I am so glad things have gotten easier, I am glad you healed up and continue to live your dream. I was a fan in the beginning and I will be a fan til the end.
Pam
That’s an incredible story. Ride on brother. As a Marine who is still serving after 21 years and a motorcyclist myself I appreciate everything you’ve done and will continue to do.
I started following your mission when you went through WI your first summer. I just happened to be at my local dealer for demo days. Had no idea who you were or what your mission was. The dealership didnt really put much behind it which is really sad. I saw the war horse and was blown away that someone had gotten that much gear on one bike. I didnt ride with you that day, but started following you on FB. I finally got to actually talk to you this last summer at Doc in Green Bay. Almost 2 years later. You are a true inspiration to me. And I hope you can keep moving forward on all your dreams.
thank you so much for being a part of this adventure!
Adam Sandoval Rides my pleaseure. Hope to catch on the next one.
Let me start by saying I don't READ BOOKS. But I read "Inside my helmet" and I give it FIVE STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ if you are interested in this story and have been following Adam and Scooter this is a must read....I couldn't put it down. I am ready for the second one. Keep up the great work!
Thank you for all your efforts in making people’s lives better, one mile at a time! Stay safe out there
Absolutely an incredible story. Very inspiring. As a veteran of 25 years, I just really want to thank you for the service you put into to making a difference in so many Vets lives. I only just started watching your buds about 2weeks ago. Im amazed. Thank you thank you and thank you.
5 stars. I just found your channel via Blockhead, John Maxwell & Bike n bird. You are amazing. I had tears in my eyes watching this. You and Scooter, ride safe my friends.
All that hard work, now you found a love the beautiful Miss Ashley and she rides now💚💜💙💛
Thanks Adam for keeping riding alive, and the spirit of the culture of HD positive for us all. From the veterans and military we thank you! I too am a Purple Heart recipient, I went from a wheel chair to two wheels. It is great and eventually that is what led me to this video. So from the bottom of my heart I say thank you personally, and to everyone else who contributes to the awareness of riding for positive cause. I ride for you! I ride with pride, respect, and passion for the road. This was great.
Bless your heart! Thanks for what you are doing for so many people who sacrifice(d) for all of us. My dad and brother served in the Navy. Scooter is ADORABLE! Great smile, beautiful heart. Stay safe and keep smiling!
Again I can never say thank you enough for all that you do for our veterans and the sport of motorcycling.Great to see all your hard work paying off.I sent a message to the Mustang seat company about a year ago telling them they should Sponcer you, glad to see they did.if anyone could give advice on building a long distance touring seat,it's you man.Thank you Adam! Keep up the great work my friend!
Brother keep doing what your doing you and Scooter are awesome stay safe Ride free brother I haven't read the book but I will oh I wanna do what you do ride the open road
You most definitely are the best source of inspiration I’ve seen EVER. Good man. God bless you brother.
Love the work ur doing bro it's not just making an impact in America but also over here in Britain,RESPECT to u,it's appreciated.
Hey Adam love the story and love the book currently reading it while I’m deployed to Poland hope to see when I get back at the 115th anniversary party
Very cool. I am a retired 20-year military vet. I appreciate the work you've done for vets. I left to travel the world last year - Ive lived in 17 countries over the last 12 months. I am planning on a big motorcycle trip mid-2020 - planning on riding a Suzuki VanVan 200 all over the US. Excited about it. Thanks for all the inspiration!
Man...I'm completely LOVING THIS! I want you to know that this is uber inspiring! Thanks man for creating and sharing this awesome content!
Wow, an incredible and inspiring story. Talk about staying focused during a time when most people would more than likely give up. It certainly says a lot about you and your ability to achieve what you set out to do. Great job.
@adamsandovalrides Dude, you truly are an amazing individual, i look forward to meeting you some day. Hey i dont know if you remember me , but i asked you a little while back about what bike would be better for for a all of my 6'1'' 300lbs self in terms of comfort , the road king special , or the heritage softail.... well i did it, traded in the the 2014 dyna fat bob at Orlando Harley and picked up a grey denim king special. I love the bike. Thank you for leading me down the right path. You are an inspiration to bikers everywhere. God bless you sir, take care of scoot , and keep the rubber side down!!!!
I’m a female who’s been living as a motorcycle nomad for 5 months now. I’m running an awareness ministry for women to break their cycles of narcissistic and domestic abuse. I also have a fb support group to the same effect. I used my Harley to escape my own marriage. I’m in those thin months you spoke of, and I still wouldn’t want to do anything else! 2 people have mentioned your name in the last 24 hours, so here I am. I’ll be looking into your content more, and I was told to check out your campground. Thank you for all that you do. ❤ Whiskey
Glad to hear you got out of a bad situation. I just recently finished an 84 day, 20,000+ mile road trip where we raised $600,000 for Wounded Warrior Project. My days of living on the road full time, for years, was when I visited every Harley Davidson dealership
May God bless you and scooter on your journey and keep you both safe! Awesome and well done! This has just inspired me. Thank you, brother
Congrats on making it to your 4th year and well into it now! Keep on rolling! ❤️ what you do!
Enjoying and learning lots from your videos too!
I love how the dog just tags along in the backpack
Adam and Scooter, brother I appreciate your story and positivity. I'm nobody special, hell I don't even have a motorcycle yet 😢😂, I just have to say, watching and riding along with you in the videos has been inspirational and has impacted me personally. Keep up the AWESOME WORK brother!!
CHLVKiD - I feel the same way. Adam & Scooter have helped me see that the human spirit is ALIVE. They are a testimony to good works thru hard work. Inspirational for sure!
I just want to say dogs are fucking amazing. Seeing him right next to you in the rain like that on the bike.. just like.. thick and thin dogs will always be there for you. A true unconditional love.
Keep riding brother.! You are a hero.! I had tears on my eyes unknowingly at the ending part.! Your life story had inspired me and had lit a spark in me to do something for the biking community.!
Enjoy your Vlogs. Took me 38 years always working to pay for and support my kids and always dreaming of owning a Harley. Finally did as a retirement gift. Now other then winter and fighting stage 4 cancer which prevents me from to much cold I just say keep it up what you're doing and bring on warmer weather for me.
Jere Lang I hope u get well soon
I've been following you Adam and Scooter for some time now and from what I see and hear through your videos I really doubt there are too many people who could accomplish what you have done for our Military men and women from a Harley Davidson' motorcycle. If and when you ride through Minnesota just look me up and you and Scooter have a place to call home for as long as you need including meals and a garage with tools, year round. You said to rate you up to a 5, well my friend I rate you both and your mission a 6 plus. What I have is yours any time you two need it. Ride safe brother and keep that rubber down and your leathers upwards.......
I'm a veteran and just came across your video. You have my heart brother. Safe riding out there!
What an amazing human being you are, sending love and respect from Manchester, England
Another amazing story. LOVE what you are doing
Really inspiring story, man. Really inspire me to live a similar life. Keep going!
Me and my bro explored old Portuguese ruins for our vlog 😁
Id love to come and do one of those with you!! hit me up on IG
Been following you for awhile now, love what you and others do for our vets! Great story Adam- keep it going!!
Authentic and inspiring journey. Thank you for sharing and being an great example of what a man becomes when he is believing in a good cause.
Great video Adam can't wait to ride with you one day.
Keep up the good work... love your book.
Thank You
Gotta Love it. You have a good anniversary date, 10 November. Congrats to your 4 years on the road and thanks for sharing the date which is our Marine Corps birthday. Things will continually get better, brother. Just be safe on the road.
I’ve been riding for 50 years, I too love your passion for motorcycling! I love what your doing and your goals Adam! Stay safe and stay true my brother! 🙏🏻👍
Thanks brother. I appreciate that
God bless you brother and scotter also
"my stories, my adventures, my experience outweighs the next guys fancy car." I love moments when truer words are rarely spoken. This is one of those moments.
Every person needs a helping hand every once in a while. I enjoyed the hell out of your ride and that was happening in the lead up to my own 50 day ride all over North America. Glad I got watch you go through that trouble and come out on the other side doing well.
Wow Adam...what a story! Hope the movie about your mission and life gets done. Thanks for everything you do. Stay safe brother.
Living the dream
The phone should never be used when driving at all.
They can wait till they stop someplace.
They are not just harming themselves, they are harming us all.
I am in Indiana.
Not far from a Harley dealer.
They did ask me to buy a harley when i broke down near them on a 1988 Yamaha route 66 250cc.
I painted it myself.
They loved the paint job much.
I told them i have always loved motorcycles back when i was 6 years old when i burned my hand on my dads friends motorcycle.
They said, come in and do a credit check to get a harley.
I told them the last time i went into a motorcycle dealer they laughed at me about how much money i make.
They asked, how do you live on that amount of money ?
I said, I don't have a wife or kids.
My monthly income at that time was $1000 a month
I still ended up buying 2 motorcycles from them, and they went out of business.
The only reason i still bought 2 bikes from them after they laughed at me , because they had the cheapest prices for the bikes i wanted.
They ended up going out of business this year.
I may not be rich, but i know how to save my money and get what i want and need in life.
The 2 bikes i bought is a 2005 HONDA VTX 1300r, and a 2015 Yamaha FZ07
The Honda is a big cruiser i take on long trips for the fun of it.
The Yamaha is a gas saver great for riding out in the country on my days off work.
The farthest i have ridden my Honda was 820 miles on a trip.
I used to ride a 1973 Honda 754cc for many years.
My brother stole it and blew the motor up when i was at work.
I loved that old Honda so much, is the reason i got me another Honda.
It is also the first cruiser i have ever owned.
I used to sleep on my 1973 Honda on the seat.
I don't know how i never fell off when i was sleeping, but i didn't.
I rode my cruiser again to Alabama, because that is the place i used to live.
I wanted to visit my best friend and ride the bike for the fun of it also.
I want to move back to Alabama, But this is the place i am making money.
Is the only reason i moved to Indiana.
Was no work to live in the place i lived in Alabama.
So little money i ended up having to quit high school and live in a cave with just a cooking stove and a sleeping bag.
My dad lost his job and left me to fend for myself.
So later, after my half brother came to visit from Indiana, and blew my motorcycles engine up, I moved to Indiana, because i didn't have anyway to get to work.
No buses or taxi's way out in the country in Alabama.
I made it to Indiana, and lived in somebodies basement with a sleeping bag.
All the people i was staying with said they could not find a job. But i never saw them out looking.
I found a job in a week.
I walked 3 hours to work, and 3 hours back everyday.
Then i bought me a bicycle.
Then it only took me 45 minutes to work, and 45 minutes back from work.
I worked the job for a year paying them rent., and then started making payments on a house to own.
The whole time i lived with them, none could find a job.
They was living off me.
When i moved out they all started fighting and went separate ways.
They lost their home from not paying the taxes.
One thing i have learned, you don't get much by doing nothing.
Hey man one hell of an adventure, you are truly amazing and committed to your country and all the amazing people that serve .
Don’t ever give up on what you are doing as not many can do what you have already done .
Happy that I stumbled on your story .
Ride safe 👍
Respect Brother, as with life it is the ability to get back up when knocked down and keep moving forward despite all obstacles that matters. Dry Roads Bro.
You're the man.
Outstanding work , your thumbnail makes me think of trevor, GTA story mode.
Adam, "awesome, awesome,
awesome" video! Dude I love this story. That is some TRUE love you you got going on there. I've been following your channel for a little while now. And your doing one hell
of a job. Best of luck with your adventures.... Be safe!!!
Adam, you are amazing !!! If there were more people like you, this would be a much better world. Thank you for your kindness to humanity...I have followed you now for 2 months only, and then saw this vid, your story, and I'm with you for good...God Bless you brother
Brother what is that charm on your silver necklace? If it's none of my business, then that's OK , "Semper Fidelis ", GODBLESS !!!
its a Atocha coin
This is how you make a real difference in the lives of others, not taking a knee during the national anthem. Thanks for all you’ve done and continue to do for our veterans. Ride safe and God bless!
wow, good point, if only everyone could see this comment.
It does make a difference and brings awareness to the subject, you can't say it doesn't because it's even affected you.
“that we should kneel, rather than sit, ... during the anthem as a peaceful protest," said Reid. "We chose to kneel because it’s a respectful gesture.”
They used their platform how they wanted which garnered the reaction they wanted . I don’t think they were trying to disrespect military members and vets .
Anyhow this is not about them , this is about how Adam made and how he’s using his platform and living his life for a great cause . It’s amazing and I support it .
Those who willingly go to fight and protect and support this country we live in deserves our respect . I’m surrounded by loved ones who are in the different branches of the military , I understand.
Thank you Adam for everything ! Just started watching your videos on how to train your dog to ride on a motorcycle which led me to subscribing♥️
FOOTBALL MAN PLZ STAND UP
You are a great and a awesome guy. Much respect and love for you. Be safe out there.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Helluva job Adam. Congrats on all of your success. You’re living MY dream man. I hope to see you out on the road someday. Be safe out there 👍
Funny thing about Harley Davidson and the military. I walked into a dealer, asked them if they offer any military discounts or incentives... they laughed at me. Then I bought an Indian... best bike ever.

yes there is still predigest against non Harley riders. I know I ride a nicely dressed 82 Honda Goldwing.
I find more import brands judging the HD then the other way.. there is always some level of judgment by all sides but HD vast majority is excepting.
Hi guys and where do I get your book
im the black sheep in my family, moved from canada when i was ten and became the most american of hte family. Joined the us army airborne, and just reordered a 2018 street bob. so im the first us citizen, airborne, military, and harley owner of my family. my dad wanted me to get a honda (they didnt offer any models i was interested in) and my brother wanted me to get a sport bike (not my style)

almost 20 min long and no mention of Ashley?
one of the hardest point is staying on topic when I make these. This is about I I lived on the road full time, there are 1000s of stories I did not share here.
Thank you, for your story and commitments. As law enforcement officer thank you for honoring are vets. You have shown honor.
Adam I am a veteran and a motorcycle rider thanks for what you do.
This guy just became my hero. What in the world!? Some random video I just saw on RUclips I thought it looked like a video game! I seriously want to do this
Your book was so inspiring. What happened to you that made you start this was sad, but without that, you probably wouldn't be here. You're making a huge difference and thank you for that!! The book is a 5 star for sure!!
Respect to you sir. Years from now when you look back there will be no regrets in the road that you've choose. It's not destination it's the journey that's matter.
Very cool, Sir. Glad you are doing your "long ride" and enjoying life. The places, the rides, the people will leave you with priceless experiences and memories.
