    I have watched at least 4 of these Amorim tactical analysis videos since the announcement (mostly from bigger YT channels) but not one of them has analysed it the way you have. The good and the bad of the 343. The tactical flexibility and ability to adapt to in-game changes. This is why you are the best and deserve more than the 70k subs that u currently have!

    This is the analysis I wanted to hear. The difficulties of his approach in a game and willingness to adapt from challenging opposition and their tactics. Everyone praising the 343, but you did the right thing, analyse the frailty of it. Can he adapt, can he surprise with something different, can he make the players believe in what he has in his mind? Those are the questions

    Having just seen his interview with the Portuguese press, I could not help but think he would make the game more fun for the players once again. I don't know what it was like under ETH, whom I favoured, but I think he may have been too disciplined and took the fun out of it. After all the game is played for fun.

    Great video Scarlett - yes i share the same frustration but i also consider that we've not got the personell on the bench to adapt easily or play different systems (we do on paper but in reality they're literally not available). I understand that the gaffer has to take the stick for the results but i just don't think it was right sacking him until after January when we can reinforce properly.

    This appointment has obviously been in the works for some time. Buying two centrebacks and getting Ugarte in when there were cheaper and/or better alternatives available. INEOS have obviously had Amorim in mind althogh Im not sure how Zirkzee fits unless he plays as a split striker opposite Hojlund in a 3-4-1-2 but that would mean them both having to maintain a high intensity press along with the no 10 and the wingbacks
    I do think playing 3 at the back with wingbacks makes a lot of sense with our current personnel but we do need a reliable replacement for Shaw.

    • @dant1148
      @dant1148 День назад

      Agreed. Conte used the 343 formation and won the league with Chelsea in his debut season. It's a good, reliable and with good flexibility to adapt - triangulation, loading or use the width with wing backs. But it's not a system that is known in our history, we a used to a swashbuckling, attacking and playing with speed and flair. And further, we don't have the players currently to play the system.

    Mr Scarlett, I’ll have to disagree with you on this one. Being able to adapt tactically doesn’t only rely on a manager but on the players too. Yes, Eth may have has his issues with adapting to another teams tactics but our players cannot adapt too. There were times when our players had to keep the ball and find an opening but they didn’t . They hoof it up to Forward players and expect them to constantly run after the ball. My biggest disagreement is that the new manager will be able to adapt tactically because he won’t be the one implementing the tactical changes but the players. Only time will tell but I think the new manager will face the same issues with tactics as ten hag. It may not be right now but in time you’ll see it

      @ruimedina49 День назад +3

      @@everydaymanfit5840 Exactly! In the beginning for sure you can say that it's not all the manager's fault, but come on, Eric spent so much money. Even the injuries, you can use that as an excuse because he could have built the squad depth needed to handle that way better. He just wasn't cut out for the role. Amorim is a big bet, big jump for him, but as a Sporting fan, I can tell you, he came to the team when we were basically at rock bottom, there was no hope left, we had a new president that was trying to fix things, but Amorim was a huge saint of lost causes, leading us from being rock bottom for in decades to then have the best seasons since the 40s or 50s. And that's with a broken club that only last season could really afford actual players (see Gyokeres). The club was basically bankrupt. He fostered so much new talent, sold for huge sums that lead to the club being able to reinvest and get to what it is today! Now that's what Man Utd desperately need right now. He did it with a broken club with no money, Man Utd are on a completely different financial league! And they do have really good players and youngsters! I think he can even make Antony be useful again!!!!

      @@ruimedina49Sporting Lisbon is not Man United, you can brag all you want about Amorim, but with United you don't only get shades by your own fans, rival fans, media even the refs will shade frustration out of your life as a United manager. They did it to LVG, Ole, Jose and ETH, Amorim won't escape it. Only time will tell how mentally he can adapt to media lies and daily propaganda against his United team. This is not Sporting Lisbon, no media outlet will make money cracking lies about the club online. Don't get it twisted. United Job is more than just managing a team

    I think what will make this appointment very different is that Amorim is hired under a proper football leadership, while ETH was recruited without such backing. What INEOS has done ever since their takeover had shown a great level of competence and efficiency. Clearly they have a direction where they want to go and how they will get there. Of course you can still pick on things that they might have missed here and there, but please look at the big picture.
    The best thing is, we no longer put all of our hopes for a united revivial on one man, the manager. Amorim may or may not work out, but i am quite sure that the club and the team would still make positive progress regardless.

    I think i may help you. Rubem Amorim systems is not only one and the secret of his sucess to adapt is by preparing his team game by game! When a coach knows very well the opponent obvious will know how to react system vs system. Sporting is playing in a mecanical way, no matter the players most of the times. What it really counts is Rubem Amorin adapt the team against the dificulties because he and his team study the opponent well. Today football is not coach only your team, is knowing your opponents and what the variations they can do! And of course possession. His team do not rush going forward... Is better be incisive than quick....

    Hi. I am not gonna watch this video but i thought i catch up with you for the last time. This will be my last comment under your channel for the foreseeable future so what I am about to say matters to me.
    Ever since I first became a Manchester United fan at the age of 9, I have seen the team do amazing things in my childhood, but my teenage and adulthood has been spent fighting the Glazers ownership and the rut that was setting in. During that time, I would always have an optimistic outlook that things will get better eventually even if managers and players came and went. Until the day Ole got sacked, I used to believe Manchester United was different from the rest and that this was the only place where a manager would get time to succeed. It took Alex Ferguson 6 years to get it right after all. But that sacking killed the romanticism that existed for United and a huge mistrust of the players seeped in. I tried giving it a chance under EtH but I promised myself I would give up on Manchester United if this one didn't work out either and sadly it has not. The mental toll this period has taken on me has led to bringing out the worst of me as a human being and made me a magnet for the most horrendous person I met in my life. For the sake of my own sanity, I am not gonna bother looking forward to the Ruben Amorim era as I have seen this picture too many times and know the ending like the back of my hand. So this is my official declaration that I am withdrawing my support from Manchester United and football as a whole. I wish everyone in the comments and Mr Scarlet Report all the best for a new era and hope you will see success again. But I am not going to be part of this any longer.
    Farewell

    United to consider Victor Osihmen. Would be perfect for this system

    For me, the role that Daniel Bragança played in this game is similar to what De Jong offered at Ajax when Ten Hag was in charged there - someone who is press resistant, always available to receive pass, always scanning around for danger and opportunities and most importantly, not afraid to carry the ball and draw few opponents and create space for teammate. My biggest concern right now is even if United sign Amorim, we don't have such player at United. Mainoo has the potential, but he has becoming more passive since his debut.

      Tbh i think that's cos of the role eth forced mainoo to play, mainoo has those qualities and in amorim's system it would suit him to a T. but you're right, time will tell

      Excuse me here sir, which role was Kobbie forced to play?

    • @adampaul6675

      @@LeslieMathula it was like watching pogba being forced to be a dm when he was not. Kobbie did the best he can but that doesnt play to his strengths. the fact he was also overplayed and worn out made the situation worse.

      Buh Kobbie been playin' as an 8 a different he was only requested to play ad a DM a few games. He was playin' a lot cause other players were injured. And this season, Ten Hag said Kobbie will be rested to avoid burnout

      @LeslieMathula He has been the guy the recieved the ball from defence casemiro didnt do it as much as he did. And then he is expected to run from one end to the other. Look at his stats they are very defensive focused. He isnt doing his creative stuff nearly as much as his debut season that is a fact.

      Mate, you can blame the manager all you want, buh the frontline missed so many chances. Our players fail to execute the BASICS. Yes the manager is at fault,buh is he responsible for all the mess though
