WELL done! Brilliant 🌹 Very difficult song to cover for many reasons. Numan did this on Saturday Night Live in America after Cars broke. I guarantee ALL the audience thought he WAS an alien!
I confess I’ve never seen a covers band Live, of any artist alive or dead etc….. but I’d happily make one single exception, and it’s for you guys. Great fun, top performance. All power to you. And will watch the Numan arms interview soon.
Just a thought .Being a fan of Numans from the early days ,why is it people like too see and hear these old songs .Maybe its because they miss the old style and sound , i certainly do , the new stuff was good to begin with .Sacrifice all the way to Splinter , but now it's getting predictable and all sounds the same , and the Lyrics are much based on the same things , the invisible man in the sky God etc .I bet a lot miss the unpredictable Numan sound and lyrics too .This cover band performs better versions of his old songs than he does these days , everything now has to be given that head thrashing heavy sound to it .
🙄 As someone with the majority of Gary Numan albums, in several formats, from 'Tubeway Army' to 'Intruder' (and even the 'Lee Cooper' advert) I need to comment here. He's not claiming to be Gary Numan, but you're missing the point of what he's achieving and how talented he and his band are. All boxes ticked for the validity of statements made by people who use '(way), shape and form' in a sentence.
I knew there was a reason I took you of my Facebook friends list Dave, I think your jealousy is showing, Tubeway Days are brilliant, suits us who like the older stuff, and not the new woke boke , Numan is putting out
As my old Mum used to say, "If you can't say anything nice then shut the fuck up you cunt". My Mum had a bit of a potty mouth and a good sense of irony
Great cover of one of my favorite Tubeway Army songs.
Really good, I'm sure even Gary would love this 🎈
The track that got me into Numan, played on the OGWT in about May 1979. Great work all round, you're spot on 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I shed a manly tear... this took me to 1980

Great comment- have to agree with you!
Completely and utterly agree with all that you say. In fact it's like I typed it myself! Well said.
