+hiimsmart If you have an Nvidia gpu set it to DSR then u can watch in 4k,it will then scale to the native resolution of your TV/monitor but give a sharper image.

a small tahiti-based workstation for $1000 will do the trick as well
even if it could, if your screen's resolution is smaller than 3840x2160, you still wouldn't see the actual resolution of the video but a lq downsample of it
Yeah, mine went laggy as shit, and my screen isn't even good enough to get a quality any better than 1080p anyway.
Oh well, I'll just have a look at them in real life.

I built a gaming pc that runs BF4 on ultra with 60fps 1920x1200, but still chokes on 4k flash. but i don't need 4k flash, cause I don't have the screen to even see that resolution. problem solved

Rylie Kay yea, but this video was uploaded ages before the 60 fps feature. Check the quality settings of the video and you'll see that there isn't any 60 / 96 fps.
Theo B I listed all resolutions. Two best (video only) are
format code 266, mp4 3840x2160 DASH video 22240k , h264, 24fps, video only, 314.71MiB
format code 138, mp4 4096x2304 DASH video 37979k , 24fps, video only, 583.24MiB
__There isn't any higher than 24 fps in the whole list. If you ask me, I'd settle for better resolution and lower fps, but maybe somebody really sees the difference between 30 fps and 60 fps... :-\
Imagine, this might be how the honey bees perceive time. Just that bit slower than we do. But slow enough to make a difference. Amazing video! :D

Great editing and great music. Constructive criticism: Most of the film
seems out of focus. The focus should be on the bees eyes or mouths. In most of the shots the focus is slightly off. If you are going to use such a shallow depth of field you have to have critical focus tack sharp, especially in 4k.
Too bad Monsanto is killing them all :(

Poor little basterds. I love them. But why is not the whole video on focus, only the middle of the shot? That kind of negates the 4k experience.
id104335409 Bees are tough guys to film! We were on a macro lens, hence the focus up close, but not far away. Check out one of our other videos like Myanmar for wide shots with everything in focus.

You can see the quality difference at lower resolution. I see on 1680x1050. Get the BS/MS degree in CS , or read some books on theory of information (enthropy coding/decoding), and numerical mathematics (interpolation) and then you will understand why... Have a nice day
You cannot view ultra HD on a system (RUclips) that only allows 720p. Everything else is up-scaled. I do not need sarcasm from some fool. I am pointing out facts. Do not need a degree to point out FACTS. :) Have a LOVELY day :) x x x

Humans are the worst.
They do need it, yes. Stealing their honey, actually, does them a favor. When the hive becomes so engorged with honey they can no longer inhabit it. In nature this overcrowding results in a swarm that builds a hive elsewhere. In an apiary, however, "stealing" their honey, which would have been abandoned in nature, provides them with a clean slate upon which to build their new home. Honey is their food source but when the hive is full - they leave it. Beekeepers take the honey, utilize it and in so doing provide the bees with a stable place to live and build. CCD is so intense now that maintaining a safe structure for the bees close to plants (and most apiaries exist near gardens for this purpose) provides constant pollination access. In short, everyone is happy and buzzing with joy.
We're not causing CCD - no one is yet sure what is. But, trust me, its a buzzword bastardized by the media. In maintaining the apiary and providing bees with these stable homes close to places where they may pollinate - we're actually helping prevent CCD. There are, sadly, factory farms for bees just like any other food producing animal. Perhaps, like mad cow disease, through these means - careless humans are doing more harm than good? Local beekeepers though, trust me, they are doing some very kind deeds for this world by helping the bees maintain their hives in places requiring pollination... And, yes, honey is a sweet sweet reward as a result. Honey that would have been left in the wild for a bear or other animal. Hope these comments helped.

Yes they do. It's their food. But - when the hive gets over, so to speak, honeyed... They no long have a place that has enough room to live - so, they leave. Build a new home, make new honey. In the wild other animals get the honey they left behind. Now - man gets it and they continue to have a hive within which to build. Less work for the bees. They need it - and when they've made too much - they abandon it.
im in 2021 and reading these past comments made just merely 5-7 years ago blows my mind how far technology has come and improved

I shoot with the Red Epic, same camera they shot films like The Hobbit, Prometheus, etc. Good luck with your channel, I know gun videos are always popular.
RUclips allows you to upload videos in 4k, but is only allowing currently streaming at 2k. But Feel free to download the 4k H.264 in the description. RUclips has told me several time as i get questions like this a lot that they will allow 4k streaming again in the future.

You are correct. All youtube videos are H.264 compression with is CPU driven not GPU for the decoding.

I'm not gonna lie. There was a brief moment in the video where I actually gestured with my hand a fly swatting motion in front of my face when I saw what I thought was a real bee flying by in my peripheral view.
