- Welcome to our first video for "Inside the Industry". We carry a lot of different brands here at MGW, so we figured showing a behind the scenes of these companies would be beneficial to our customer base.
Our first visit was to Sig Sauer, which was incredible. We saw a lot of awesome stuff, and captured some great content. So, hit that subscribe button because we have MUCH more to come.

Funny how this video states they ramped out production, but didn't mention that when ramping up productions the more QC issues a company is going to have. Back before Sig became super popular, they made their P229 and P226's to perfection, heck I even had a first gen P320 which I loved, now as a FFL 07/SOT 2, I have been seeing so many QC issues with all their Sig line because they just want to pump out guns and not take the time to fully check everything. I've had 3 P365 sent me directly from Sig with dead front night sights. I had 5 P320's come in with a bad trigger bar and spring. All these had to be sent back to Sig for repair, not only that, they made me pay for shipping to have their product fixed.
The QC I witnessed was VERY impressive. They are checked at every single step of production. Even though they have ramped up production, they are doing very well on QC. It's interesting that you have had that many issues. We have sold hundreds of Sig pistols this year alone, and haven't had a single one come back or be complained about.
@@midwestgunworks I check each firearm that comes in, I do a verbal check and tear down of all firearms to make sure the firearm did not come from factory all messed up. Why? Because the last thing I want is for a custom to take home a firearm and have a bad experience with it. I go above and beyond of a typical gun store / range here in Texas because it's all about customer service at my store.

Any firearm manufacturer that gotten big n famous eventually resort to cutting corners to cut cost.
When companies ramp up production, thats when more mistakes can happen.
10-12 hours day X 6 days, throw in commute time to and from work with traffic, spending time with own family, eat, shower sleep and wake up, get dress n leave for work again.
1st week= what a tough week
2nd week= this ain't no joke.
3rd week= f@#k this sh%t.
4th week= your a zombie
I agree.when they came to the United States it became junk in my opinion.had several friends with sig pistols.they are junk.i had a p226.last sig I ever own.

I'm a big sucker for Sig. Glock makes great guns, just not great looking. Sig makes great guns and great looking. Own a P226 Legion Sao and a 1911 Custom works Equinox. My gf owns a p320x carry, a Custom Works Scorpion Axg and she's about to get a 10mm P220 Sao, so yeah we're Sig groupies

Hey could u tell me how does sig pistols specify compare to HK and glocks in the US market? Also are they priced similarly or there is a gap between all 3
@@vedantmehra6970 HK are usually priced alot more than Sig & Glock. Example a Glock 19 Gen 3 is $500, a Sig P365 depending what model you get are priced from $500 to $700
@@TheProAer I see, so HK does charge a premium on their guns, very German thing to do but m sure they make excellent guns
My night sights were off 1/16 now I know why. Luckily I got a Wheeler sight pusher
Seeing how the process works, I'm very surprised that made it out like that. But mistakes do happen.

They are pouring everything into the P320/P365 basically
they didn't the demand just increased, the manufacturing processes for the 365 and 320 is completely different, and isnt even done in the same building

@@midwestgunworks the lower for sure. I tested it. The slide not so much but still scratches super easy just like gen 4 glocks. Can't stand the finish on the sig or glock. Why they don't fix that is beyond me. My gen 3 glock is still scratch free after 15 years

Tell Sig to hire a Quality Control Department. Sig is notorious for releasing flawed firearms
and letting the public be their testers.

Machining is done by robots. Assembly is done by people.

Sig Sauer this company should sign a business agreement with Pakistan now. There are opportunities like Gold.
Sig Sauer comes from Europe. However, today, when you buy SigSauer in Europe, you have no rights. The Americans do not send the HOLSTER TO MY GUN Sig LEGION to Poland !!! I'm not talking anymore about registering the pistol in the SigSauer database. In general, EUROPEANS - do not buy this weapon because the manufacturer disregards you, not like it was when Sig was German.
