I guess its a kind of usual ponctuation for us Frenches, but keeps it firts meaning for Quebec french speakers.

I'm a french canadian speaker and yes "putain" doesn't have the exact same meaning. We understand what people are trying to tell us when they say it, however we have our proprer swears and expressions. If a quebecer says "putain" it's usually use to mock French people. And, no, québéCois is not hillbilly french, learn where it come from.

Don't get me wrong, I adore Chef Ramsay, I watch his cooking tips on Facebook, MasterChef Canada and Hells Kitchen and will continue to do that but as everyone his human and make mistakes,
I would like you to pay attention to what happened at 6:30 exactly and also follow what Chef Ramsay will do after that... he will clean the yellow surface or cutting board with what he just picked up from the floor.
I know, I know, it seems that he didn't prepare food following this but however he wiped out that board as he was going to do something else.
My point is: if this is a setting that is used by anyone cooking or preparing food, that means that the other cook will use that surface, just wiped out with a dirty piece of clothe having touched the floor, yerk...
I understand that he had been paying attention to questions asked during that interview and that he was distracted but as a pro, this should not happen !
It also reminded me a comment made by the Italian Chef Joe Bastianich to a kid, at Masterchef Junior, after the kid dropped its Beef Wellington on the floor; Chef Joe Bastianich explained the 3 second rule to pick up food even if dropped on the floor, that was not appropriate and give the wrong message to futur chef and I remember chef Ramsay criticizing severely one Chef during a Hells Kitchen episode for doing that... do what I say, not what I do is the rule . LOL

"putain" means whore but we often use this word in French the same way as "shit !!! "
    "Putain qu'jadore Gordon ^^ " sounds like "I f**** like Gordon "
    vulgar exemple but not insulting

I'm American and french teachers here will tell you that Québec french is bad french. After I went to Québec and learned the history of French North America, I found out that this is false information but the French people are elitist and will put down anything that is not France. Finally, I got tired of their attitude and made Québécois friends instead because they were nicer and easier to get along with.
