- Everybody has there favourite gardening tools. Today we are sharing our top ten hand tools for gardening. The ones we use the most.

Yep, a good selection there.
I do garden maintenance part-time, so my top 5 would be a sharp spade, garden fork, secateurs, loppers with extendable handles, and a dutch hoe for weeding. 👍
I also love my extendable lopper (pull the rope and lop those high tree branches)
My favourite gardening tool is a small hoe. It's beautifully handmade with a nice sharp edge and thick, rounded wooden handle. I like it because it's nice and light and quite narrow so can get into most spots, it's definitely my most used tool.
I snapped my favourite butter knife yesterday getting weeds out of my lawn. WARNING NOT for inexperienced: I also use it do kill redback spiders. I wind the web up and scrape it on the concrete (to kill any possible babies) and then the spider is less able to move quickly as it has no web structure. A quick pin of it's body or leg and a good squish/scrape and bye bye redback! I will have to go to the local op shop to get a few more now.
