The PACMAN,I first seen Manny fight his debut fight against ludwaba(however that's spelled) I think it was his first professional fight in the USA,and I was sitting with my mouth open,to hear his power punches made me cringe! He was my fav, instantly. I'm 58years old,and although back then Manny was not refined, but his constant pressure, power and speed, was shocking to watch,I never seen such stamina. To watch Freddy train and make Manny such a excellent fighter. So humble, giving and caring, never trash talking or saying disrespectful things! I miss you Manny, you brought respect, dignity and even when you was robbed in fights due to the judges being blind,he still never bad mouthed anyone,,when has any boxer, ever shown such control in those situations? You truely are one of a kind, and in my eyes, the best boxer of all time..The most I was ever worried about a fight was when he stepped up in weight to fight cotto,,I didn't doubt Manny but I knew how cotto was such a hard puncher,,but to watch Manny after the second round dominate and dismantle Cotto was shocking and amazing! There will never be another PACMAN,Natural talent, humble, giving, determined. Started with nothing, retired a millionaire, yet still humble, respectful never acting as if he was better than others. So many reasons why I respect you Manny, may GOD always watch over you and your family!!
I've only met perhaps 3 or 4 Phillipino people. And, WHAT A PLEASURE those encounters were!!! They are very warm and kind-hearted people. So I automatically have big love for Manny Pacquiao. And I give him his due RESPECT as one of the GREAT boxers of our time.
Heartwarming to know you’ve had pleasant encounters with those Filipinos you’ve met…. What I admire with Manny is his humility 🙏 We, Filipinos have a saying: “Those who look back to where they come from will definitely get to their destination.”☝️ Manny LIVES to this saying☝️ I pray he changes for the better🙏🙏🙏
They all talk about Manny being small or not having power… The only 8 time lineal champion… I think you’ll find he has power, speed and agility. Key point, he’s never thrown a dirty shot in his career - that’s pure class and it separates him from every fighter, even Ali threw some dirty shots. Manny’s coaches have told the press, we’ve said to him “He hits you dirty, give him one back… but he won’t, he stone wall refuses to do it. Not even a little jab or a slightly low blow, nothing”
Muhammad Ali , Joe Frazier , George Foreman, Mike Tyson etc , all with their own victory . The only boxer with victories in various weight boxing championship,Manny Pacquiao ,just him. Should respect his reputation . To me ,Manny Pacquiao , winner of all winner. Maybe in future , there is somebody like him, maybe nobody. But his name in history put him the best of world boxing champion.
Now Ima huge PacMan fan by all means! And although he did gain that title and was really taking out every Mexican fighter I just have to say…. “How many Mexicans does it take to knock out Pacquiao…… Just JUAN (ONE) 🔥 🔥 🔥!!! Can’t lie that shit aged well lol! 💯. Hell I’m still a fan of his though, but yeah my man Juan got his number 🇲🇽
@@chaqanqueeri1370 FAIR WARNING TO FLOYD FANS; THIS IS A LONG RESPONSE. INSTEAD OF CRYING ABOUT IT, EITHER READ IT OR DON'T, BUT DON'T COMPLAIN ABOUT HOW LONG IT IS...............We're talking about the sport of boxing, the most corrupt entity on Earth. I don't play the way that they do, I score my own game. Time after time they've proven to be not less than criminal, and I don't have to put up with it. That means that my official record is real, they're record can kiss my ass. Pacquiao's real record is 66-5-1, and I could go one step further with the Agapito Sanchez fight, but I'll let that draw stand. The real facts are that Manny lost twice in the Philippines, once at 17 and again when he was 19 and under less than ideal conditions. When he came here, he lost to Morales in a one round decision defeat, he lost to Marquez by KO in their 4th fight and he lost his last fight to Ugas at the age of 42 after a 2 year layoff by a close decision. That's the accurate, honest record of Manny Pacquiao. I know that according to the dishonest boxing officials his record stands at 62-8-2, but I don't have to recognize what I know to be corrupted. The fights I object to are the decision loss to Bradley in their first fight, the decision loss to Horn, the decision loss to Mayweather and the draw in the first fight with Marquez. If you poll 100 non-biased educated fans or boxing analysts, more than 95% of them would agree that Pacquiao won the first fight with Bradley. It wasn't particularly close, which gives me the right to correct the nonsense. They had 3 judges score the fight again, each watching a replay. They each came back with the same score, 8 rounds to 4 for Pacquiao. If 3 official judges agree to a clear win, then Pacquiao won. The corrupt boxing commission announced that despite the 3 judge panel agreeing that Pacquiao won, they weren't going to change the official outcome. Okay, I changed it for you. Next is the robbery against Horn. I believe the same is true for that fight, almost every unbiased analyst or fan would score that fight for Pacquiao. Post fight Teddy Atlas, a known Pacquiao critic, told Jeff Horn to his face at ringside that he didn't win the fight. Horn landed about 60 punches in a 12 round fight. Pacquiao landed about 100 more, roughly 160 punches. Based upon that alone only an imbecile or a biased opinion would say that Horn won the fight. Landing an average of 5 punches per round and still winning the fight is nearly impossible. The criminals in Australia had the fight in Horn's win column the day the contract was signed. It wasn't a close fight, Horn landed more fouls than punches. Next up is the first Pacquiao/Marquez fight. The official scoring was a draw, however one judge made an error on his score sheet. He immediately admitted the mistake, giving Pacquiao only a 10-7 score in the 1st round despite that it's mandatory that he give a 10-6 when 3 knockdowns occur in one round. The other 2 judges scored it 10-6, the 3rd judge claimed he didn't know he was allowed to give a fighter a score as low as 6 points in a round. Since he didn't know, I'll take his place because I knew that when I was 10 years old. The corrupt boxing commission had the nerve to say the error wasn't enough justification to overturn the outcome. If an error that was admitted to by a judge, something that Pacquiao had no control of and that nobody could dispute, isn't justification to change the decision in the minds of the commission, then they're all fired. I'll do what they had a responsibility to do, give the win to Pacquiao and tell the commission to kiss my ass on top of that. That leaves the Mayweather fight. Many of his fans are like Floyd, they're delusional and don't often tell the truth. If they comment about the fight today they will say that Floyd won the fight easily. As time passes by they keep stretching the truth. Floyd didn't win the fight easily, he didn't win the fight period. Don't take my word for it, ask any fan in almost any country that follows boxing. When polls were taken in several countries after the fight, each poll had Pacquiao winning the fight. Evander Holyfield and Shane Mosley watched from ringside, neither had a reason to be biased for Pacquiao but they agreed that Pacquiao won the fight. Holyfield asked the reporter, if one man is trying to force the fight but the other doesn't want to fight, how are you suppose to score the fight? Floyd Sr. was in Floyd's corner and didn't realize there was an open microphone nearby. About mid-fight between rounds, he was heard saying this to his son; 'what's wrong with you, you're acting like you're scared of the man. You better start fighting or you're going to lose'. You can't get a more unbiased opinion than you get from a fighter's father. In a moment of honesty Floyd Sr. admitted that Floyd was fighting scared and that he was losing the fight. All the other crap from Floyd and his fans can be thrown out, his father told the truth as he saw it. So did fans from around the world. The official record shows that Floyd won, the real record shows that Floyd fought scared and lost the fight. I rest my case, Manny Pacquiao's record stands at 66-5-1 according to an unbiased account,..........my account and that of many others.
Probably one of my favorite pacquiao fights. He just looks so cool with those no fear trunks with flames.Would love to see him wear it in his last fight again as a throwback
I hope everyone understand that need for the type of respectful, humble athlete that Emmanuel Pacquiao seems to be. Notice he is great without cockiness, arrogance, disturbing trash talk, and expresses respect and concern for his opponents. Notice also that he may in fact be the greatest boxer of all time with respect to his victories in at least 8 different classes. This man shows the world much more than great boxing skill.
Pacquiao- The "8 division world champion" and the "Active prime living Legend". Fighting for the nation and for all the fans. And also for the Legacy and Glory 👑 (Humble, kind and also a good senator of the Philippines) Mayweather- the undefeated and the self proclaimed greatest boxer. Fighting for his money
Mabait din na tao si Velazquez, lumitaw ang amo ng mukha ng mayakap ni Pacman lalo na ng idantay ang kanyang mukha sa dibdib nito. Nakakatouch na tagpo.
Tulfo is a great place to work for and I am very excited about this opportunity and I look forward to working with you and your company for the opportunity to work with you and I look forward to working with business
Commentator: I think the perfect weight class for Pacquiao is at 126 Meanwhile Pacquiao became a champion up to 154lbs cathegory. Shame on this commentators. The underestimation is real😂😂
Mr Pakman! You’re retired from boxing already but me i am not retired watching all those people you knocked them down and you are good fighter you are the best in the whole world!
He does'nt know how to box Pacquiao - I did'nt know how to box but i know how to knock you out😂 Velazquez Coach : you train in a gym for a long time. Pacquaio : i grow up in the gym for a long long time😂
Lesa Atuatasi …. All his fights I too have watched 😂👼👼👼😂 Thanks to covid 😭🤶😭 His fights / his achievements despite his nothingness are inspiringly heartwarming☝️ I too am hooked to this man’s humbleness amid his accomplishments 🙏 and can watch /listen to his fights ALL day long👍
Manny is a righteous man and a superb fighter. Those cocky fighters can learn from him to be more humble. It’s never too late to learn sportsmanship and be more humble.
To bring this into perspective, in 2005 i was in kindergarten ...I'm in my third year in university... the difference in knowledge levels is unexplainable ..that's How vast Manny Pacquiao experience is in boxing..and he's still active jeeez
Manny is greater than Floyd Jr. and M. Ali. Why? Because Manny did an EXTRAORDINARY feat that Floyd and Ali didn't. No one in history of boxing that a fighter become a 'LINEAL' champion at 112 lbs vs C. Sasakul (at age of 19) then moved up in multiple weight classes, win 'LINEAL' titles in between , and then become a 'LINEAL' champion at 147 lbs vs T. Bradley (at age of 37). Pacquiao a 5'6" tall, started at 106 lbs FILIPINO fighting away his comfort and won ALL his 8 weight div. championships OUTSIDE the Philippines including his win vs K. Thurman (at age of 40). At age of 42, Pacquiao still fighting and scheduled to fight the #1 welterweight, the #5 Pound for Pound, bigger, taller, heavier, longer reach, 11 years younger, unified and undefeated in Spence. When we're talking about Pound for Pound greatest fighter or warrior who ever lived we are talking about the fighters/warriors 'ENTIRE' career. The 'ENTIRE' accomplishments. Being undefeated doesn't mean you're the Greatest. Losing is part of the sport. The greats Ray Robinson has 19 losses, Henry Armstrong has 21 losses, Ali has 5 losses, Duran has 16 losses, Archie Moore has 23 losses and they're on list of top 1-10 Greatest Of All Time. In August of 2008, upon the 3rd announcement of Floyd Mayweather Jr's retirement last June 2008 here were the top 10 Welterweight ranking: Take note: On March 15, 2008 Manny Pacquiao fought J.M. Marquez at 130 lbs and in June 28, 2008 Pacquiao fought David Diaz at 135 lbs. 1,) Antonio Margarito (WBA) 2.) Miguel Cotto 3.) Paul Williams (WBO) 4.) Shane Mosley 5.) Joshua Clottey (IBF) 6.) Carlos Quintana 7.) Kermit Cintron 8.) Andre Berto (WBC) 9.) Luis Collazo 10.) Jackson Bonsu Remember that Pacquiao fought 4 out of the TOP 5 Welterweights during this August 2008 ranking. He fought Cotto, Clottey, Margarito and Mosley. Pacquiao is the smallest among all these welterweight fighters and started pro at 98 lbs and become a Lineal + WBC champion at 112 lbs. Pacquiao is fighting outside his comfort zones unlike Mayweather. Fact is all of Pacquiao's 8 division title championships were all held outside his country. While Mayweather Jr, announces retirements for several times. 1st was after the A. Gatti fight, 2nd was after the Dela Hoya fight (he refuse to rematch Dela Hoya), 3rd was June 2008 (after the Hatton fight), 4th was after A. Berto fight, 5th after the C. McGregor fight (an MMA fighter with ZERO Boxing record). For large portions of his illustrious career, Mayweather was a master of timing, both in and out of the ring. Despite his vast repertoire of skills, “Money” was a master at stacking the odds in his favour (It Means CAREFULLY SELECTED His Opponents) whether it meant dragging Ricky Hatton and Juan Manuel Marquez up to 147lbs (the MARQUEZ Fight was at 144 lbs Catch Weight BUT Mayweather weighed 146 lbs and paid $700, 000 fine) or telling Canelo Alvarez that he couldn’t weigh more than 152lbs CATCH WEIGHT despite the super-welter limit being 2lbs heavier (this was a WBC / WBA UNIFICATION fight). Mayweather Jr got caught administering 750 ml of saline IV illegally. Ortiz). 2012 = 1 fight 2016 = NO fight 2017 = 1 fight against C. McGregor (an MMA fighter with ZERO Boxing record). 2019 = 1 Exhibition fight against a 21 yo, BANTAMWEIGHT, Kickboxer from Japan. 2021 = scheduled to fight against a RUclipsR. Additional FACTS about Mayweather: "Legacy won't feed your children, Currency does", says Mayweather Jr. "This fight with a RUclipsr is a Legalized Bank Robberies", says Mayweather Jr. "I'm a Scared Coward, am RICH Scared COWARD", says Floyd Mayweather Jr. Take note: Floyd Jr during his post fight press conference against a Pokemon RUclipsr says once again that he's TBE, the best ever. June 3, 2021 www.ringtv.com/622540-jean-pascal-tests-positive-for-a-fourth-banned-substance-epo/ While Pacquiao at 42 yo, is scheduled to fight on August 21, 2021 in Las Vegas, NV against the undefeated / unified WBC & IBF 147lbs champion E. Spence an eleven years younger. Spence is much bigger, heavier, taller, has longer reach. Spence Jr is the current # 1 Welterweight plus the # 5 best Pound for Pound in the ranking as of June 14, 2021. Important FACTs: Pacquiao started pro at 106 lbs, become the 'Lineal' champion at 112 lbs at age of 19 way back 1998. Moves up in bunch of weight classes, wins multiple titles including 'Lineal', then become the 'Lineal champion at 147 lbs by defeating Bradley way back 2016 at age of 37. Greatness is measured through adversity. For a fighter or a warrior to be called THE Greatest he/she must be able to bounce back from his/her worst difficulties. Being undefeated doesn't mean you're the very best. Ray Robinson, Henry Armstrong, Muhammad Ali, Roberto Duran, Archie Moore are example of the top 1-to-10 all time greatest fighters that suffered multiple loses. Here are some examples of Greatness: ------- T. Hearns KO'd R. Duran (still Duran is greater), R. Leonard beat R. Duran (still Duran is greater), A. Pryor KO'd A. Arguello (still Arguello is greater), A. Tarver KO'd R. Jones (still Roy Jones Jr is greater), J. Taylor beat B. Hopkins (still Hopkins is greater), J. Calzaghe beat both R. Jones Jr and B. When the commentator says Hector is smart to lean on, that's not the case, Pac is so humane to let him lean on, its so easy for him to jump off, which might hurt hector more.
If you cannot match Manny's stamina he will take your will away. He has beaten so many oponents who's skill set was much higher with stamina alone.. Conditioning and a good chin wins 95% of the time
its truly hilarious the amount of times I've heard it in his various fights over the years but i believe his career is maybe slowing down now hes fighting less and less and his last outing was a defeat but nobody can deny he is a G.O.A.T boxer.
This isn't the Manny we now know, he's still reliant on his one two left. Which is great, but the Manny we know that made him into a legend is his variations of movements and combos.
Here we are almost 20 years later and Manny is about to fight the baddest welterweight in the division. Erroll Spence Jr.. Manny is truly one of the greatest of all time.
The commentator speaking the weaknesses of Pacman, then he improves a lot more variety of weapon like Manila ice (right hook) more lateral movements and better defense and become he who is today.
Man, one of the best and most exciting fights was both fighters trading punches! No fear for both fighters! But Manny is still one of the best boxers and a GOAT!
Velasquez's corner: "He doesn't even know how to fight, you're a better fighter than him!" Wonder what they have to say about Pacquiao now 🤣 people will always see him as a legend, can't say the same for Velasquez 🤣
I have been a Pacquiao fan since his first televised fight, he was very good then and in this fight, he became great a few fights later. Getting and sticking with Freddy was the best thing for him.
Manny's fight videos are my kind of inspirational motivator to do impossible tasks lol! Just can't get enough of his talent. Truly Amazing guy! Proud Filipina here.
Manny Pacman is the Bruce Lee of boxing. The 8th Wonder of the modern world, the coolest boxer ever. The bigger they are, the harder they fall.If his opponent refuses to fall, I still don't whether they are panelbeated surgically oporated.Pound for pound he is the hardest puncher ever, closely followed by Sugar Ray Robinson.
Commentator to Pacman: "He may make enough money in next year or two if he does run out of energy so to say he at least be a rich man." He didn't just make money after a year or two he became super-rich, 8 division world champion, and an icon of the sports 16 years after this fight.
MP is such a gentleman. He even embraced the fouler. If it were me up there, I'd have stepped on his face when he fell- punishment for a dirty fighter.
I forgot to mention that Manny's footwork, shooting angles the way he does is like no other boxer I've ever seen,I love it when he gets fired up and does that Ali shuffle,I always laugh when he does that! Where he gets his energy and stamina from I don't know, but his speed and power is almost freakish! The history of a great boxer isn't because he has a perfect win record,a great boxer is how he shows heart, getting back up after a loss, working hard and making himself better than he was before. Manny didn't fight only for himself or money,he faught for his family, his country, and went to his knees to pray before and after every fight, never loosing his faith and belief in himself or GOD! When a man isn't afraid or ashamed to admit his wrong doings in front of the world, stop his gambling, drinking, and being unfaithful to his wife, then putting himself back on the right path, only shows his faith and heart is stronger than his punch! That's a Man! Most boxers loose that determination and drive once they become famous, and money, greed becomes more important,Manny didn't,he never forgot where he came from. I watch his fights all the time, always amazed at his speed and power! Mayweather wouldn't fight him during their younger years, always finding excuses and a way out,yet claiming Manny was dodging him. He knew that he couldn't handle Manny back then and was scared to fight him, because Manny would have dropped him like a bad habit,in those years like when he was fighting those like,Cotto, Margarito! Wan Marquez never got the credit,or respect he deserved,he is one tuff, badass boxer as well..when a man gets dropped 4times in the first round, and comes back to make it a draw, that says how good he is,even tho one of the judges only credited Manny for 3knock downs which cost him the fight..
LOL! I like the Velasquez corner with that pep talk "you are superior to him in everything"! DREAM FREAKING ON!!! And this goes to the freaking commentators too who seem to have this BIAS in favor of Velasquez. Hilarious!!!
Manny Pacquiao is winning, yet his side kept asking him to take care. Then Hector is losing yet his side kept underestimating and insulting Manny Pacquiao- Ha ha ha . THE MEXICAN's EMPTY BRAGGING CAUSED THEIR CHAMPIONS TO TOPPLE ONE AFTER THE OTHER LIKE FOOLS! HA HA HA! The Mexicanos have never heard of the word "HUMILITY!"
The commentators are talking about Pacquiao having a few hot years, remember this fight is in 2005, and how he needs to get paid before he moves on to the next thing. LOL They have no way of knowing Pacquiao has another 15 years left 🤣
Lol , hector coach says "He doesn't even know how to fight" to pacquiao, bruhh he is a GOAT, An 8 division world champion... Im speechless, so unprofessional

They all talk about Manny being small or not having power…
The only 8 time lineal champion…
I think you’ll find he has power, speed and agility.

In August of 2008, upon the 3rd announcement of Floyd Mayweather Jr's retirement last June 2008 here were the top 10 Welterweight ranking:
Take note: On March 15, 2008 Manny Pacquiao fought J.M. Marquez at 130 lbs and in June 28, 2008 Pacquiao fought David Diaz at 135 lbs.
1,) Antonio Margarito (WBA)
2.) Miguel Cotto
3.) Paul Williams (WBO)
4.) Shane Mosley
5.) Joshua Clottey (IBF)
6.) Carlos Quintana
7.) Kermit Cintron
8.) Andre Berto (WBC)
9.) Luis Collazo
10.) Jackson Bonsu
Remember that Pacquiao fought 4 out of the TOP 5 Welterweights during this August 2008 ranking.

I love Manny, he's a dream for boxing...
Manny is tremendous! A fighter in the highest and best sense! Wow!
O mo in I'm

HA HA HA! The Mexicanos have never heard of the word "HUMILITY!"
this guy just said tag-a-lag.. nailed it bud
and the great Pacquiao has emerged..

Dang i forgot that his footwork wasnt what it was recently.. very weird to see him doing flatfooted from time to time on this fight. Lmao!
