- I am lazy. If I have to grab Gaze in the first Pantheon encounter (which not many people want to do for some reason) I want to chill. So I switch to Strand Titan, put on Strongholds, and watch the boss burn.

It's a very reliable strategy
i was about to say, "no way, literally just shoot the balls and read your timer" this is incredibly based and i'll doing it in the future
"Just shoot the balls" might get tricky at -15 and higher :) Bonus points for switching to Void Titan and occasionally boost your teams damage with a Banner Shield. That's what I wanna try next week.
@@masterjim666 my concern with that is still being in super when you need to take gaze again
@@ThriveOnEgo_ Absolutely! I tried it and had that problem. So only do your Banner Shield when you have the gaze, count down while you shield your team, and you're fine.
@@masterjim666 take the gaze pop sent shield jump by the team block balls provide that juicy 40% damage buff
takin a snooze mid encounter
You are a legend. I will always run gaze now. lol.
Is this work with glaive block holding gaze?
Stronghold is only for swords, but glaive block should work ok as well.
Im using void titan ursa furiosa. The ult shield block gaze and i buff the team.
Based
Is Lament good enough for this?
Absolutely!
Any perks needed to make the block better?
the titan exotic Stronghold buffs your sword block. that's what they're using
Yep, Stronghold maximises your sword stats, so you can use whichever you want.
Any tips for non titan using sword/glaive to block?
@@williamharper3633 yep, use Stronghold.. lmao
@Delbzy lol OK. Guess I'll make a titan just to use the stronghold
can you share your dim loadout pls?
I only have my current Void version which I used in week 4, but the essence is the same: 100 RES, Stronghold, and a sword :)

@@masterjim666 thanks :)
Nothing like a gaze holder that does no damage and just stands there 😂 . Make videos to show people how to properly do it, not how to be a bot
I prefer Gaze Holders that don't die at -20, but thank you for your input :)
What sword was that?
Crafted Bequest with Surrounded/Unrelenting.
😮😮😮 imma try this out
While i agree that this is the laziest possible variation of this strategy, which is funny, please just use a glaive to block so you can debuff the boss with tractor cannon while waiting to take gaze..
No :D
tbf, we not gonna 1-phase him anyway, so yeah..
That's not a smart thing to do in Pantheon considering that gazer has to stay alive as top priority, what with a bunch of void orbs flying at you plus those Taken centaurs and hive ads will appear every time
@kawaiichi why don't you actually try it before you make that determination? Maybe you aren't aware, but the poison darts AND Minotaurs do zero damage to a glaive shield, and you can easily regenerate shield energy by periodically shooting the minotaurs. I've been using the glaive shield every run, all 4 weeks, with zero issues..
@@W3TIC3 I don't mean the glaive but the tractor cannon part. Gazers should focus exclusively on gazing, stay alive and taking out the minotaurs as their primary role.
@@kawaiichi Have you ever taken gaze before? There's a lot of down time while your partner is counting down, time where there's literally zero downside to tagging the boss with tractor as you cross the pit to get in position for your next shot.
You can ALSO use tractor on minotaurs, to suppress them while you line up the shot if needed.
If you don't wanna use your heavy on a debuff like Jim, that's fine. Saying it's not smart to contribute to dps by leveraging an easy, refreshable 30% debuff for the people in the pit is objectively wrong though.
