Scorching hot? If you think it gets scorching hot you should try getting into a car that is 10% scorching hot and your realize it’s no where near as hot as you say. On the hottest day 106 degrees if you put your hand near the ceiling then yes you feel the heat but it’s still nowhere near scorching hot. Better than tint it’s made to block out a lot of hear and UV.
I forgot to mention the unit when I said that. Please recognise that 36°C is 96.8°F ... just 9 degrees less than the hottest day temperature that you mention. But that's semantics. Numbers aside, it does get pretty hot on a warm day ... although the cabin overheat protection does mitigate that to a large extent.
