I’m fine with GTA Online continuing if they actually did things right. If they listened to us and explored all creative ideas people have had over the years, GTAO would be as popular again as it was in 2014.

Only update I wish for is the ability to add tuning to your cars. I just hate that cars you buy have caps on them based on the car and it's class. I just feel races would be more interesting. You can line up your tuned honda vs a supercar. It's just not fun when everyone knows what the fastest car is. I'm not saying we need forza levels of tuning just the ability to make whatever your favorite game car is perform on any level you wish. Ofc each stage boosted will be a price maybe 250k a stage. So it's balanced and keeps buying hyper cars worth it.

They need to add a drag racing. It would give everyone a reason to use low grip tires and it would be cool if as you knock pieces off of your car it becomes lighter and faster

This actually suck, there are a tons of new/old players who are currently on the "old" gen, and now basically they're forced to buy a new 500 console for playing the same fucking game but with a "better" graphic and some bits? (correct me if I'm wrong) that's actually really bad, so new ps4 and xb1s players aren't going to be able to play with the other players who are on next gen? This is definitely a bad move from Rockstar, especially during this period. I know consoles are evolving and everything is changing but I wished that we could still play with the old gen waiting for gta6.

They want to add more features to the game but the old consoles hardware is just too outdated and cant keep up.
This also isn't the first time they've done this. We had to buy XB/PS4 to play a better updated version of GTA. Then we had to buy it again on PC for a better updated version of the game and the cycle repeats.
You'll most likely still be able to play the old version of GTA on PS5
Alot of games have been allowing people who buy the next gen version of the game to also own the old gen version and instantly switch between the 2.

But they have to cut off the PS4/XBOne version off if they want to continue to update the game. There's alot of features that they have wanted to add the game that were cut out due to the older consoles not being able to handle it. Now with the newer systems they can do more like finally removing the speed cap, add more vehicles, houses, weapons, and finally add new locations to the map without having to load into another game to play on a small island like Cayo Perico
At this point, i don't even care about them updating 5, i just wish they added other maps/cities to explore
I had the money for Ps5 and couldnt get untill last month where I won a lottery for a chances to buy it. Thats how hard its been to get where I live. Sucks for some that wont be able to get it and then have to pay for the game again.
I have a question though, what does this mean for ps4 and xbox one players? Will they also be getting the new cars? Will us on ps5 be able to still play with our friends still on ps4? I wonder.

You won't, they are expanding lobby capacity past 30 players. They're also integrating new engines as well for ray tracing and weather and such. The performance for cars and planes are going to be increased as well. Just like 360/Ps3 we will be separated once the next generation game releases. All new features would be game breaking on an OG Xbox/PS.
No, these changes are the point of expanded and enhanced GTA V which lands on next gen and PC only. Why would PS4 get it? Lol. But still - PC will get it all.

I hope they revamp the character creator for online. To be able to change your characters weight and what not. Make it a little more fleshed out. As it stands it’s rather simplistic. Also hope they put in better hair and clothes options. But I feel like the latter is just wishful thinking. My expectations are low lol.
3:55 Whaaaaa, that's not what raytracing is, is tracing ray's of light in a digital scene to simulate whatever interaction you want, it could be light sources, shadow casters, reflections, refractions, difractions, all kinds of scattering.
Narrowing it down to reflections is nearly insulting to light transport researchers.

I just want to know when the one time migration offically ends for all players. While it is rather disapointing that R* is pretty much ignoring the fact that most people (such as myself) still don't have a next gen console, as I'm willing to bite the bullet on the game itself, but I want to know when the one time migration will end offically. It did have an experation date last time with PS3 and I'm sure that they're going to focus on the ps5 and X/S consoles going forward after this just like how they did with PS4 and One.
When did migration was expired for PS3? Do you remember which year? So we can expect approximately when this going to happen to PS4.
Pretty sure they would give a couple years or so for the migration to happen, because Rockstar knows that most people don't have the next gen console yet and aren't planning on getting it anytime soon.

For a next gen update, they should add in activity’s like bowling, cards and more sports maybe even add a dating mechanic, like from 4. But a reworked storyline where you start working with Lamar then getting scouted by Lester and the rest, getting new rewards like a mk2 uzi and cutscenes would be amazing

One thing that somewhat concerns me is how GTA 5 and GTA Online are titled differently as if GTA 5 online will continue on as a sort of mmo even when we get gta 6 and GTA 6 won't have online.

History repeats itself. Rockstar wants us to restart for the 2nd time, at one point they will stop making new thing for Old Gen consoles an eventually we won't be able to play online on old gen anymore.
It’s natural, have to level up to the next gen, better hardware, better experiences made.

You should know that bitching and moaning dont help... stop with the boycott and do something actually important
in my opinion, GTA online, can just turn themselves into a "Fortnite" style. In this case, I would recommend GTA to update the map, just expand it to another small small island without the separate loading screen and/or other heists, yes. More importantly, rooms where players can destroy each other and a room where players (like me) can just hustle and not have to worry about aholes in the game destroying each other, but just honking as we drive by or the odd friendly pick ups.

Yeah, I’m running a tv which unfortunately is only 720p(it sucks) but it still has 60Hz, and some great colors luckily. But yeah, it’s harder to get higher resolution tvs
