There's never a dull moment when the 4 of you get together. Patience and "Rosie's Bush " made me laugh so hard. I remember when you found it as I laughed really hard then. All of you make your channel great. You have been so lucky with the last few lockers. When you returned the locker contents (all you could find) was a wonderful thing. They were so grateful and Jeremy was able to buy his vest.Thanks for all you do .

What a great episode the excitement on breaking into and and exploring the safe’s contents gave us a good idea of what finding treasure and history in a storage unit is like. On the other side of things how can you lose your unit with so much value sitting there. It makes me sad to think about the trouble he must have put in to to put that collection together. I did enjoy seeing you all together taking turns to break into the safe. Have you noticed that Christian is a pretty decent safe cracker and pretty handy at picking locks he could also fly the getaway plane! He only needs a black and white striped jumper and a black eye mask. 😂Honestly though thanks for sharing and for the great things you achieve restoring the love 💕💕. God bless you all👏🏻💕

I am so glad to feel better enough to get back to watching you all, George your looking so much better (well you always look good) I mean medical-wise. I will have to go back and watch the episodes I have missed. My husband passed away in his sleep 10 days ago so I had not been up to watching much of anything. What a find! I sold some of my father's coin collections several years ago at an auction. I was blown away by some of the bidding wars over the collections. Very interesting seeing the US and foreign coins.

Montgomery Wards was a huge competitor of Sears. They shut down their retail stores in 2000. BUT they still have on-line and catalog sales. I bought a sofa bed and love seat from their store on 1986 and it lasted as our main family room furniture for years. Was still in great shape when sold the set when we moved home to Indiana after I retired from the Navy.
Montgomery Wardl was a department store that sent catalogs out that sold everything. It was a popular catalog all over the country, especially in small towns and rural areas. I have a Wards ice box. I've seen a wards fireplace mantel. They eventually had stores across the country.

I love anything Gettysburg....lived there in grad school, such an awesome little town.
The people that have commented on the Spanish gold coin with the shield looking imprint also called "pieces of eight" or "daubloons" are also known as reales. That coin may be one of the most important finds of the safe. The most widely known Spanish shipwreck from the 1600's is the Atocha found by Mel Fisher in the keys of Florida in the 1980's. If you called the Mel Fisher museum in Key West they could tell you if it was from that shipwreck. If you have not visited that museum you should go, it is very interesting. I am from Cleveland but live in Florida so enjoy both your adventures in each state!

The Vietnam book "Images of War". The soldier on the the cover was a guy ( I forget his name, but my friend now it and spoke to him recently) went to my high school at Coronado High in Scottsdale Az. I beleive this picture was from 1968, It also was on the cover of Time Life magazine. How cool!

Wow, I loved seeing all the coins you found in the safe ! I've started collecting coins in a minor way, but I don't think I'll ever have anything like what you found. A small three cent piece is called a " trime". The three cent piece has an interesting history. I love watching you all laughing and having fun. I think Patience could cheer up anyone with her laugh.

Montgomery Ward (fondly known as "Monkey Wards") was a dept. store that was more like Sears and not like Macy's. They were awesome and only went out of business in the 90s.The gold-colored, loose coin said "copy" on it. That's a WOW unit for sure!! I can't wait until tomorrow. I'm sure that EVERYONE is glad that that last piece was not Rosie's new bush. LOL

Montgomery Ward used to send out Christmas wish books to order from. We got our school clothes from the Montgomery Ward and Sears catalogs.
PCGS MS63 is from a slab that grades coins - MS means uncirculated. The collector probably just pasted onto the book. As for what you found. The books themselves - Dansco books which are specific in their contents (Washington Quarters, etc) are also worth some money as during the pandemic the company wasn't making much of them if any at all. The collection has some nice stuff but to my eye nothing extraordinarily high in worth -- but as he has some of the classic coinage before 1065 and many cents, it will have a decent value overall. Any Dansco book that is complete will also be attractive to a dealer of collector.
All those commemorative coins are most likely uncirculated which makes them worth more.

Never take coins out of the collection book. They may be mint or un untouched if he bought the book from the mint

I love watching you break in the safes but there has to be a way to bust them apart without going through all that cement. If only there was a hinge or two in the bottom that you could hit next time. One of those loose foreign coins looked like an ancient Roman coin.

Yes, Montgomery Wards was a department store that went out of business about 1996 in my area of PA.
That Mexican silver ring has a green turquoise in it. Highly sought after and very valuable. I watch a lot of metal detecting videos and those 3 cent coins are called Trimes. Quite rare to find.

My other 1/2 is a coin collector. Said with the very quick look he got of the gold looking coin where you had the cross next to it... He says that coin (you weren't sure of) looks like a gold Spanish coin from a ship wreck.

The gold coin looks like the dabloons recovered from the Etosha that sank in the Caribean. It is divided into quarters by the markings on the back. Very old or a reproduction Either way valuable.
