Regarding the much loathed puddle base, I don't feel any way about them to be honest but I have a hunch they are easier to cast that way. But Northstar make great kits either way value quality and choice.
I completely agree the models them selves are excellent and good value for money. That much so, we can all accept the base for what it is 😀. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the question, I think they would. Although they would have bits of armour on them. If your just looking for werewolves then wargames atlantic have recently released a box of them.
@@blackdicegamingltd I was thinking about making a werewolf themed warband for Frostgrave. This kit comes with all kinds of different weapon options which fit the Frostgrave theme, which is why I'm thinking about converting with this kit as the main part of it, but it's really hard to tell without the models physically in front of me. Thanks for the response!
I see, that makes alot of sense now. If it's for frostgrave then this set will be a perfect starting point for a werewolf warband...... will the wizard be a werewolf to? And what school of magic?
@@blackdicegamingltd I haven't decided on a school of magic. I've seen a couple of cool looking models that could work as a wizard and apprentice for a warband. Loot Studios "Feast for Ghouls" line has a "Ghoul Priest" and a "Narogath" and two "Ghoulish Cultists" that all look like they could work beautifully as a wizard and apprentice for the warband. That's just one example, but there are others out there. I also thought that a couple of the bodies from the Frostgrave Daemons kit that have the clawed feet could work as armoured werewolves with a headswap too. It's really convenient that the weapons in the Gnoll kit should fit on them relatively easily if the weapon options in the Daemons kit doesn't look good.
@ImperviousSC this sounds amazing, I would love to see what you eventually come up with. If you would like to email me pictures once finished at james.blackdice@gmail.com
Thanks for watching
Gotta love those North Star Gnolls.
Absolutely 💯 %
Seems very detailed, my only complaint about Frostgrave minis is for these fixed bases, removing them is a real pain.
I completely agree on the bases, I found this a problem when building my warband.
Thanks for the video!
Thank you for watching 😀
Those are very cool
They certainly are, and brilliant for adding something different to your Frostgrave warband.

Hey, this may seem like a weird question..... With a headswap, do you think these would make passable werewolves?

They could be good skaven with a cheeky headswap
Oh I never thought of this!!! Well spotted.
Do you know of any good kobold minis that aren't reaper or 3d printed?
I would avoid Frameworks due to price.
I really dont know anyone who supplies Kobold minis. Sorry.
@@ursusmajor9 I'll probably go with GW skinks. They're not quite the same, but close enough.
My favourite kobolds are the Otherworld Miniatures ones. Not the cheapest but I love the sculpts
