Thanks for uploading! I was never able to watch the full game because of the Hurricane Katrina coverage we had in New Orleans, but this is a gem!😊 Seventeen years later, I finally get to travel to Hawai’i!🌺👏🏾
two years later the team i was on won the little league world series against japan :) thanks for uploading this, i remember watching and just hoping i could make it there one day and i, in fact, did!
was a dominant time for curacao, they have had a resurgance recently same with hawaii. but the easton stealth bats bring me back to the days when i played.
Instant Classic! That Top 7th with the Ray Lewis of little league getting out a future MLB player then mowing down the next two batters with shear intimidation has gotta be the best 1-2-3 inning ever.
@@thecrazedcardzback then they had the “neighborhood play” rule. a neighborhood play is a force play in which a fielder receiving the ball in attempting to force out a runner at second base, catches and quickly throws the ball to first base in a double play attempt without actually touching second base, or by touching second base well before catching the ball. On a close force out at second, a fielder often cannot avoid a collision while completing a throw to first base unless he stays some distance away from second base. For the sake of safety, umpires allowed fielders to score the first out of an attempted double play without actually touching second base as long as it "looked like" an out, i.e. the fielder made a clean catch, turn, and threw near second base before the runner arrived
@@LLWSChamps2005 oh that’s ok 👍 these games are still pretty good to watch, all of the games you guys were in were really competitive and the pitching for me was a lot deeper than this years tournament. The Hawaiian 🌺 team this year was just amazing! When I saw kekoa payanal hit that first home run against curaçao, I thought vonn feao came back lol 😂! I was wondering how you taped these games when you were at the tournament too! My dad actually watched some of the games from the 2005 llws, while I was only two(born October 2002) that’s why I have a limited knowledge of tv 📺 tapping lol!
@@LLWSChamps2005 whoa jurickson profar threw 101 mlb equivalent ?! Shoot he should’ve still been pitching instead of playing shortstop lol! I wonder what would’ve happened if you guys faced him 😹

The team that started the Hawaii dynasty. Greatest team of all time! The real Northwest powerhouse!
For me the rankings of the teams are you guys, curaçao, California, Pennsylvania, Japan, Louisiana, then Florida and Guam
