- Ghost opened the gates of hell so this happened. This is honestly the hardest thing i've ever had to do in this game as these hyper jumps are really inconsistent both with triggering and the speed that you fly. Nevertheless 1:58 is possible maybe 1:57 at this point in time.

getting both those jumps and completing a solid run on top of that actually looks beyond insane
Its near impossible the second hyper jump is basically RNG it killed about 100 runs its so frustrating
I got gold in this level!

That was too much I spent 86 straight attempts on that hyper jump to get 2:21:09
I made almost same time as you, except my time was 2d2hrs when yours was 2min 2sec .DD

Mercury I’ve been doing that, the farthest I’ve been able to get is 2:27
i got it yesterday, took like 3.5 hours of practice lol. time is super lenient, like you'll have a minute to spare for the gold relic likely (i did), so take your time!!
I just unlocked it yesterday just keep at it you'll get it
I believe you get the trophy no Matter which relic you get, I believe even if you get sapphire you'll get the trophy

More like the developers have really done a great job patching the game. They must've been aware that this is a thing after the Slippery Climb stuff

Both Spyro and R&C have nice soundtracks. Spyro 1 is a gem to me (pun intended) and will always be my childhood game
Some game soundtracks hold so many memories. I have not heard R&C music in YEARS and I really want to play them all now. Sucks that my ps2 power cable is broken...

I died so many times just trying to clear this nightmare. Getting a Sapphire Relic was without doubt the worst experience I have ever endured in a game.

How do you do the spike glitch? I try emulating it but I can’t seem to get it. Is it patched?

Help, I beat the game before finishing Stormy Ascent because according to Bandipedia (see link below), the extra 1% for finishing that level will not be added. Was this glitch removed from one of the software updates? Or can I just restart the game?

Stormed back into first! Any chance of the glitch on a spike in the moonwalk staircases?
There's a death plane above the middle layer of this level. You can get a hyper jump above a t 1:14 too but the death plane kills you instantly. I was never able to get a hyper jump on the staircase ones to see a result but i'd guess it'd be useless
I need more time to make Slippery Climb and get Sapphire relic. :-D
How can you get 105% ? I did all the game and I'm stuck at 104%...
I don't understand how u don't die in 1:02 and how u can do those glitches... I tried so many times but Crash doesn't go up...

Its clipping the spike at a very specific spot and mashing jump but the results vary everytime
oh i see looks like your the only who can get the earliest record than anyone else and it looks like those glitches make things easier i wish i could try it but i dont think i can do it
The hyper jumps are far harder than doing it properly but give it a shot if you want. it looks easy but in reality its brutal to pull off

What the hell? I play for 3 hours and can't even come close to gold time, you on the other hand have perfect timing throughout with all the platforms lining up, because of? I don't understand.
