You guys keep getting better and better. This is one of the best raps yet. Build up is great, fast paced and aggressive. Rhyming and flow is better then the majority of most main stream rappers. I'm not a musicphile but i know what i like and the stuff JT pumps out is AMAZING.

It's supposed to be ironic. Bioshock is filled to the brim with ironic symbolism like that. Ryan's whole entire "No gods, no masters" thing is absolutely bullshit when you actually analyze it. He, along with every other rich individual in rapture, abused and exploited others. Ryan was literally trying to become a god and a master while advocating against those things. He wanted absolute power over others, no matter what.

@@daladagamer2721 my man, big sisters are geneticaly engineerd, Rapture has square Windows, Which is a stupid idead because the corners will rust away and then leak through, yet its working without a problem, in the game, not even a drill can break them, and don't FORGET the tunnels, thats A window so powerful that you can't break it, and Rapture is deep in the sea, the water's pressure can break things easeily, yet, this piece of glass is literally unbreakable, the big sisters are the ones too powerful

Jack saved all the little sisters and that makes him more then a slave but a Angel and a man.
Through out his life when he hears "Would You Kindly" he has to do what the person that ordered him wants.
Him saving the little sisters was the ONLY time he was able to make a choice....A REAL choice.
That choice then saved him at the end of the game as the little sisters helped killed fontanie and he helped them grow up....as a family.
Father, Angel, and A man....he is definitely more then a slave.

I remember, when I was little.. my father was playing this game.. I was thrilled to always watch him play Bioshock.
He is one of the best gamers I've seen. Now this Little Sister has taken after him in gaming.
He always reminded me of a Big Daddy... him a giant, that's protective... will do anything to keep their loved ones safe.
He also reminds me of Sander in some ways.
But anyways, nowadays my friends compare me to this game as I do with family.

Rapture and Andrew Ryan proved Ayn Rand wrong. It showed what objectivism leads to. Destruction, misery, and civil war. Hell Frank Fontaine a criminal scumbag used ryan own free market unregulated capitalism to build himself an empire and his own private army to overthrow ryan. It’s kinda weird how man who does kneel to god or follow king that he would name his city RAPTURE and name his products EVE and ADAM
God complex. Why kneel to a god or king when you are a god yourself and give yourself a divine mandate? All within the city must bow and praise the leader.
It's meant to symbolize The Great Chain. Ryan named his city and its districts after gods and other holy things to show that all gods and kings are just creations of man and therefore just exist as constructs. It's to show how gods and kings wouldn't exist without man, hence "no gods or kings, only man" being his MO.
Tenenbaum named ADAM and EVE. Fontaine thought it was catchy so he just kept it

It's incredible just how relevant Bioshock is still today. In fact I would say Bioshock is even more relevant then it was back in 2007.

I watched this before and after playing the game for the first time and it all makes so much sense
What i love about this song are the lyrics" we'll go down with our sinking paradis" it makes me think of how the city has fallen into the chaotic nightmare that it is now, how the people of rapture became the drug addicted monstrosities they are now roaming the city in search of adam and the lyrics" we turn our hopes to the skies" it makes me think of those who want to escape from the nightmare that is rapture, as if pleading for someone to save them. What is sad is that the people who came to rapture believed they were going to a better place not only for themselves but their families as well, where no crime or war would take place only find themselves trapped in a place made out of nightmares.
The Bioshock series is one of my favorite game series. I have played each game over 15 times and when my friend informed me that you made this song I swear my heart stopped in hope. I have listened to your Five Nights at Freddy songs and I loved them so I was so excited. This was better than I hoped. It was after listening to his 8 times that I jumped onto Amazon, where I got your other songs, and immediately bought the .mp3.

Funny thing, I just imagined this song in a theater. The background is Rapture, and every time the chorus stars, water falls down from the ceiling and everything breaks. In the moment of "MY CITY...", the place starts to completely fall apart, water now floods the place, all the Splicers walk towards the public with masquerades singing in a straight horizontal line. Then they hold their hands together, everyone removes their masks showing their deformed faces, extend their hands to the public as they sing "STAND WITH US WOULD YOU KINDLY?". Next, all lights out.
